The room photograph and description (1st floor 28 square metres) did not match the actual room allocated (4th floor. 18 square metre).. This is illegal in many countries, but apparently not for this hotel. The duty manager of the day was prepared to allocate a better room, but only at an extra charge. I was not happy with this so did not pay extra. Breakfast was pleasant. Lovely view. Attentive waiting staff. Location excellent. The windows of the hotel ground floor facing the sea were disgraceful. Peeling paint Abandoned empty decorating containers, food waste. Lazy maintainance and lack of pride. Clearly nobody is checking or following up. This could be a great hotel, but is a now a reminder of indifference and apathy. The check out manager was more helpful and offered an upgrade should I visit again. However both parties know that is unlikely. I filled in the hotel questionnaire recording these issues. I hope it gets to the right person. The attached photograph shows the much nicer room and embellished description in the advert. Clearly all photos and measurements need to be updated so they actually match the rooms that are being sold. Since I expressed my concerns on 20 march 2023, there has been no update.

الاستقبال سئ جدا.. توقفنا في الاستقبال علشان مش حاجز داي يوز على الشاطئ.. مع أنى اتصلت أحجز قبلها ب ٣ أيام.. والموظفه ردت عليه أن مفيش داعي للحجز.. تدخل على طول.. لكن على بوابة الفندق رفض الموظف دخولي بحجة إني مش حاجز.. حاولت أفهمه ان الموظف اللي رد عليه وقال إن الشاطئ بدون حجز.. وقالي لازم اتأكد أن في أماكن فاضيه.. وبعد ٢٠ دقيقه انتظار على بوابة الفندق.. سمح لي بالدخول.. و المفاجاه لما دخلت الشاطئ.. لم أجد غير ٦ شماسي تحت كلا منها فردين فقط.. و الشاطئ فاضي تماماً.. طبعاً موظفين الشاطئ اعتذروا لي عن سوء المعامله في الاستقبال.. والفندق لا يستحق ٤ نجوم.. قديم ومتهالك.. والمعامله سيئه.. والأسعار غاليه.. ولا انصح بقضاء وقت فيه،،

جميل الفندق بطرازه القديم يعيشك في حقبة تاريخية من القرن الماضي ، طاقم الفندق متعاون وبشوش جداً ، واحب اشكر الاخت فرحة على استقبالها اللطيف . الفطور كان جيد وانصح بزيارة المطعم العلوي sky views للاستمتاع بالوجبات اليونانية والايطالية والاستماع للفنان المباشر

فندق سيسل لمن يقصد الجمال والرقي والاصالة والفن والذوق الرفيع في مكان واحد، الموظفين جدا محترفين وراقين في التعامل من اول الاستقبال حتى موظفي الغرف والمطعم وكل العاملين في الفندق، النظافة عالية جدا ومهتمين في كل التفاصيل الفطار جدا جميل. شكرا لكل العاملين في الفندق من الانسة الراقية في التعامل نسمة وهي نسمه في خدمة العملاء، والجميل اللي بيستقبلك بابتسامه حلوه زيه كريم اسم على مسمى والراجل الطيب في مطعم الفطار محمد جابر الناس اللي بيخلوك تحس انك في بيتك.

Stayed first on the ”executive level 11”. The room was decent, but had a laboring AC to get things cold. Bed was comfortable, and decent bathroom for all things. Check in was good and all staff were very good. Breakfast area was decent buffet selection. Stay there you get a 4star 2nd stay was another room several floors down, well worn carpet there, noisy from the road below, hard to sleep. Weak AC, terrible shower setup, with a base and a shower curtain hanging from ceiling. But it sufficed. Stay on this level is 3star. Location is decent in Alexandria, you are surrounded markets on the streets, but you are never far from Corniche or short walk to restaurants and pharmacies shopping.

From the check-in to the checkout, the staff made us very welcoming, Sayed upgraded our room to a suite, cheers. Breakfast was very nice, room was super spacious with big balcony. I would like to thank Mina from the coffee house, such an amazing guy, was very responsive and helpful and always smiling, and two young handsome guys in the restaurant keep up with the smile & great working spirit, and not to be forgotten from front office Michael, you are a wonderful person and truly appreciate your hospitality and kindness, keep up with the beautiful service that you provided to us, made us feel very welcoming, cheers to Mr. Michael and Mr. Mina

Very nice clean hotel located close to Borg airport. With good road links to Alexandria and Cairo. The rooms a spacious and clean and all rooms have a balcony. The food is very nice and is reasonably priced and all of the staff are friendly and always willing to help. I have visited the hotel frequently over the last 10 years and it is always a pleasure to arrive and sad to leave it really is not just a place it is a mood
