"We visited Lake Canopy during peak summer with family, and though the heat was definitely intense, we still had a really great experience. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, especially if you get a backwater-facing room—the early morning vibe there is peaceful and totally worth it. The pool was very clean, which made a big difference in the heat. There were quite a few activities to keep us engaged like cycling, indoor games, and a shikara ride which we really enjoyed. We even tried a bit of fishing, which was a nice experience. Food was consistently good—breakfast had a nice variety, and both lunch and dinner were very tasty. What stood out the most was the staff—they were very hospitable and always helpful without being intrusive. Overall, despite the summer heat, it turned out to be a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend for a calm backwater experience."

"Stay was good and resort is beautiful, approach road is not at all good , you can get a house boat from the resort and even from finishing point near the resort, further lot of mosquitoes in room and room service bit slow , Resturant is good and the location is perfect due to its facing towards back water"

"We stayed in Mr. Jose homestay for 2 days. Got a very warm welcome and felt very homely. Mr.Jose is a gem of a person. He made sure that our stay is comfortable. Even his staff were very humble and helpful. We even went on his houseboat which was neat and clean and very well maintained like his homestays and the country Boat ride within the small canals where we could see the daily life of the locals. Food was amazing giving us an experience of Kerala cuisine. Mr. Jose is very helpful for any enquiries or query it will be answered within minutes & also will make sure to make any last minute adjustments whatever is possible 😊 Thank you so much Mr. Jose for making our Alleppey trip memorable. Will visit again for sure❤️😊"
