We travelled as a family of 4 with 2 teenage children, and now when we book we always make sure we are booking a room with either 2 single beds for the children or 2 separate rooms. Here we booked what we believed to be a family room with a double bed and two single beds so was rather disappointed to find a double bed and a double sofa bed,. After reviewing our booking we went back to reception and luckily there was an adjoining twin room available. The rooms were fairly dated and the bed was a foam style mattress which i found to be far to soft for my liking but the rest of the family thought was comfortable. The room wasn't the cleanest and a bit dusty on the shelf behind the sofa bed, but the bedding was clean. The bathroom was a lot more modern and had a good shower. Breakfast which would normally be a buffet was delivered to the table and was fairly good for a smaller hotel. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening which whilst wasn't anything special was enjoyable enough.

In diesem B&B fühlten wir uns rundum wohl. Das fing an bei der ruhigen, grünen Lage (ideal mit Hund!), ging über das großzügige, gut ausgestattete Zimmer mit vielen kleinen Details, die man sonst so nicht findet, über die freundlichen Gastgeber bis hin zum guten Frühstück in einem reizenden Frühstücksraum mitten in der grünen Garten-Oase des Hauses. Wir schliefen – auch aufgrund der Ruhe – wie die Babys. Sollten wir wieder einmal in der Gegend sein, würden wir zweifellos wieder hier übernachten und gerne auch mehr als eine Nacht.

Alles in allem: es ist okay, wenn man wenig Wert auf Service legt. Zu Beginn erfolgte eine sehr unterkühlte und wenig hilfsbereite Begrüßung an der Rezeption. Obwohl schon alle Daten beim Reiseveranstalter angegeben wurden, mussten wir diese noch einmal handschriftlich auf einem Zettel eintragen und anschließend ein drittes Mal in einem Tablet vermerken. Nun denn, Corona geschuldet gerne einmal zu viel als zu wenig eintragen. Bei Rückfragen zum System auf dem Tablet, das offensichtlich hing, gab es wenig bis keine Reaktion, eine nette Unterstützung suchte man hier vergeblich. Vielleicht waren wir auch einfach unerwünscht. Das Abendessen war in Ordnung, allerdings am ersten Abend mehr Richtung Kantine als Restaurant. Die Servicekraft am Buffet war nicht gerade ein Kinderliebhaber; nicht nur bei unseren, sondern auch bei anderen Familien. Am zweiten Abend war das Essen deutlich besser, die andere Servicekraft mochte auch offensichtlich Kinder lieber. Das Frühstück wiederum ist reichhaltig, wenn auch es keinen frischen Kaffee oder Kaffeespezialitäten (ohne Aufpreis) gibt. Wenn ihr euch in den Biergarten des Hotels setzt, müsst ihr damit rechnen, dass euch niemand bedient. Gerne könnt ihr jemanden suchen, mürrische Mitarbeiter lassen sich auch finden, aber nach dem ersten Getränk sitzt ihr wieder lange auf dem Trockenen. Und dabei ließe sich damit doch so gut Geld verdienen? Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gemütlich. Das Bad ist eine Plastikzelle, zweckdienlich, nicht schön. Leider ging bei uns der Abzug nicht und die Luft stand entsprechend nach dem Duschen im Raum. Der Kühlschrank war gar nicht erst eingesteckt als wir ankamen, wir haben uns diesen dann selbst angeschlossen. Die mobile Internetverbindung ist, egal mit welchem Anbieter, kaum vorhanden, das WLAN eine Katastrophe und funktioniert nur zeitweilig. Zusammenfassend würde ich dieses Hotel aufgrund des mangelnden Services nicht weiterempfehlen. Legt ihr keinen Wert auf Höflichkeit und sucht nach einer guten und günstigen Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, ist das Hotel okay.
