"Traveled to the Costa Brava with two friends for some hiking and beach time. We loved this hotel. We stayed in the triple room and there was plenty of space for all of us to move about. The staff at the hotel were so lovely and helpful. We had some wonderful hikes along the coast and really enjoyed our meals at the hotel restaurant. Will definitely return!!"

"We stayed at this lovely hotel for four nights in October and what a little gem it is. The hotel bears testimony to the fact that Bernardo, the owner is there in person, taking an interest in everything and looking after the welfare of his guests as well as ensuring standards are tip top. Our room was spacious and super comfortable. The pool is fantastic, one of the best I have ever used. Breakfast was superb, especially the homemade yoghurts and lovely omelettes. We really enjoyed our stay and Bernardo gave us many good recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see in the area. Thank you."

"Talaia Plaza EcoResort is a beautiful, cozy and environmental friendly resort. The environment is stunning and the staff was incredibly friendly. If we needed help the reception answered all our questions instantly and offered support. The pool was very nice, many sunbeds and fun entertainment. The restaurant and the little bar in front of the restaurant were great as well. The tiny house was cozy and provided everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and slept well. Everything was clean, you can cook using induction, the bathroom was good as well, the shower was great and a nice touch was that there was water on arrival. We were away quite often so we did not attend many of the activities on the resort, but the entertainment was great. During our first evening we had a cover band that played many classics. The entertainer on the resort was incredibly kind and fun! The staff were very kind, relaxed and helpfull and we loved our stay at Talaia Plaza EcoResort Begur."

"We stayed for nine nights. Our flight was delayed we arrived at 1.30 in the morning and the owner/manager waited up for us. A really lovely hotel, great setting, delicious food, knowledgeable and very helpful staff. A great heated pool and very comfy sunbeds altogether the whole place is a delight that we hope to return to next year"

"The hotel room was on the ground floor with a window facing the street, but very little light came in. There was a chair, a toilet with a sink, and plastic shower curtains. Only two bath towels were provided, and no hand towels. The room was tiny, and we could hear other people coming and going from the hotel, making a lot of noise. The house was very old with high ceilings, and the lamp in the room was barely visible. We sent our information by phone, and they gave us the access codes. We didn't see anyone from the hotel at any point. The whole experience was very depressing and overpriced. The only positive aspect was its proximity to the town center."

"Fantastic hotel in a very remote location in Begur, Costa Brava. The hotel is beautiful and if you are happy with relaxing at your accommodation for your stay, then this is very ideal. The staff however in general are far from ideal. Many have an arrogant persona from the start and often give off the impression they are doing you a favour by simply doing their job. The rooms are beautiful with great scenic views but lack the basic amenities that basic hotels would offer. Overall a beautiful hotel, just let down by a mixture of inept and incompetent staff."

"The hotel is very nice, with charming gardens and a pool, but... honestly, we probably didn't make the best choice booking a bungalow. They're not up to hotel standards: the shower doesn't work properly, the door doesn't close well, and the space doesn't feel like a 4-star hotel. The idea is good, but I've seen better bungalows at much cheaper campsites. The breakfast could also be improved; it's the same thing every day, which gets a bit repetitive, and the quality of the food is lacking. On the positive side: the pool, the tranquility, and the beautiful hotel itself."

"We stayed with 4 people twice at this hotel, once as part of a walking holiday and then again at the end of our walking adventures for a long weekend. On both occasions our experience could not have been better. The hotel is quite small and has a very personal feel to it, it is located within close walking distance of the centre of Begur with lots of good restaurants nearby. The rooms are bright, clean with comfy beds and despite the central location very quiet. An excellent buffet breakfast is served in the beautiful medieval basement but the highlight was certainly the attention to detail and helpfulness displayed by the staff who went the extra mile. We will definitely return."
