"The hotel is in an excellent location, especially if arriving by bus as I did. Easy walking distance to harbour and the many great restaurants of Brixham. Breakfast was of very good quality, excellent ingredients and cooked to order. All the staff, reception and serving, were very friendly. The hotel bar is a nice space to finish off the day. Two minor niggles, which didn't impact me seriously. The shower in my room was rather idiosyncratic - took a long time for hot water to appear and I didn't find the controls very user friendly. Mine was a single room, but quite spacious and I feel it would have benefitted from the addition of a small armchair - there is certainly space for one. All in all, I was very happy with my stay and would certainly return."

"Amazing place to stay. Lovely, friendly and welcoming owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms are to a very high standard, spacious and lots of little luxuries such as robes, soap, shampoo, slippers, fridge, bottled water etc. Breakfast menu had a wide selection of delicious things to choose from. Eggs were cooked to perfection!! Loved the hot tub too! Highly recommend."

"First visit to Ranscombe House, great location in Brixham with a great view and an excellent outdoor space to relax, and the addition of parking on site. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view over the harbour and beyond. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, the hot choice cooked fresh, and served by the very friendly team led by Pip the owner who’s a really nice guy and very welcoming and has plenty of local info. Will return."
