"And let's start with the fact that I was staying at the hotel in the evening, there was no one, there were no lines, but I was forced to open two suitcases to find my passport. I did this for a very long time, to close the suitcases, I waited for a very long time for someone to lift my suitcases. Up. I booked a Junior Suite room. And it was terrible, a very dirty jacuzzi. If you want to invite someone to visit, then each guest is charged 75. This is about 20-something dollars. Just for a person to come to visit you is outrageous. I have no words for how outrageous this is.I had a US ID in my purse and could easily show it later. When I was settled in the room, I could show my passport, but they refused to accept the previously agreed amount in dollars.Although we agreed on such payment terms via WhatsApp, I didn't have time to change dollars into pesos and I didn't have a credit card with me.This is the first hotel in Colombia that is so terrible in its attitude towards guests that I am changing the hotel urgently and to another one."

"Service: The girl at the front desk was super enthusiastic, because I had worked in the Chinese restaurant for a year, and I greeted me with a little Chinese I would speak, and I was very talkative. Exceptional breakfast: Breakfast is the best thing I have ever tasted in a hotel of this category in Colombia. It includes a wide variety: fresh tropical fruits, lulo/maracuya juice, wall sands, paddles, eggs made for taste, newly horned bakery products and even typical posters. ¡A festive to start the day! 4. "HORRIBLE! BEWARE! The worst customer service and disrespect for customers with terrible accommodations. I don't even know where to begin with this nightmare of a hotel. This review could go on for pages with all the things that went wrong. I stayed there 7 nights on business. I did not select the hotel. The group that was hosting the training had pre-paid for the group. I should have know from check-in this would be a nightmare. We had reserved months ago and were clear we needed a king bed. When we arrived, the young girl at the desk said there was no king bed. She didn't even attempt to try and help us. An older woman worker heard us discussing the issue and told the young girl it was possible. She then told her how to move things around. This was the beginning of a long line of lazy workers who have NO TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. The breakfast in the morning was exactly the same every morning and it was less than appetizing. Breakfast was till 930 every morning. I arrived at 840am on two occasions and they were basically out of food and refused to bring more. The rooms were clean. I will give them that. But the beds were hard. They provide no basic, complementary toiletries. The outlet in the bathroom was broken and when I called for maintenance the worker said the outlet was on order and could only give me an extension cord. There was one towel on one day and when I called for another towel the young girl at the front desk gave me a hard time about getting another towel. And the supplies at the hotel were low. There were only a few irons at the hotel. We had trouble getting one. We finally got one and then the next morning we were woken up at 530am to get the iron back because another guest needed it. WHO DOES THAT!! The pool was closed almost the entire time we were there. There was a lounge area/work area by the pool but every time I went to go work there, the employees were there eating and relaxing as if it was an employee lounge. This is clearly a management issue with the hotel and a lack of training for what are mostly very young employees. The worst night was our last night. We arrived from an excursion to find loud music at the hotel and many drunk and rowdy people coming in and out the hotel. When we asked when the event would be over they said 2am. Our room was on the 5th floor right below the party area and we got no sleep with the live band, dancing, and noise. Many of us complained and they said it was the hotel owners party and there was nothing they could do. Can you believe that?!! The hotel owner was inconveniencing his own guests for his personal pleasure. Clearly, the issues with this hotel start from the top with a lack of care and concern for guest and their comfort and safety. In all fairness, I will give a few pros. The hotel is in a decent location (though it can be very noisy if there is a game as it is right across the street from the soccer"

"Best breakfast I've had in a long time. The room was very spacious and with an amazing view. They struggle to keep the room dark due to the large windows. But this is a common problem in hotels of Colombia. It is a great location for people looking for a Cali stop between El Redil and other locations on the Route to the Sea, and the Airport. you can literally cross the street to walk into Chipichape mall to find a vast amount of good and well-priced food, coffee shops, and stores. I would stay here again."

"My experience at the Azor Hotel was nothing short of amazing. If I were to describe the staff in one word, it would be: Familia. They were the highlight of my stay and for that reason, I would return to Cali, Colombia in a heart beat. This was a last minute trip for me as I flew from the British Virgin Islands to accompany a family member for medical reasons. The hotel was aware of this and immediately made me feel recognized and at home upon my arrival. Azor Hotel has a great relationship with the nearby medical facilities so I felt assured that my family member and I would be taken care of. Check-in was smooth. There was a language barrier (understandably so), however, the team was very proactive and helpful with translating. I think it's safe to say I learned a lot from them and vice versa! Ellos me ayudaron y yo los ayudé :) The rooms are clean and comfortable and the housekeepers did an excellent job with servicing regulary. The same goes for the team at the laundry -outstanding job. All the housekeepers I came across were very friendly and made sure to check-in with me and how my family member was doing. This really meant a lot to me. Breakfast was 10/10 everyday. I genuinely enjoyed learning about and indulging in Colombian cuisine which Diego would proudly let me know about. Diana was a sweetheart - always served with a smile. They also remembered my name! That says a lot considering how many people they come across on a daily basis. Obviously they put a lot of love in the kitchen because lunch and dinner meals were also very delicious. My favorite was the fillet fish that came with plantain chips and salad! The mango juice was really good too. It literally tasted like biting into a mango back at home. Very natural and tasty. I was on the 10th floor so it was relativly quiet from my room. The view was beautiful especially at nights when the skyscrapers are all lit up. It’s location is ideal because there is nearby medical facilities, a pharmacy, the famous (and huge) Chipichape Mall about 7-10 drive away and if you need to make international calls, you can take a short 3-5 minute walk to Copy Center Versalles (across from the pharmacy) and pay a reasonable price for minutes - grateful for the front desk team for suggesting this to me. You get value for your money when you stay at Azor Hotels. The hotel staff was helpful with arranging safe transportation, too. There is a lot to see and experience in Cali and this is truly the perfect place to start. I want to say a special thank you to Marleny Rojas who left a very positive note in my room after attending to it the day prior to my departure. It tells me that there is a genuine passion and care in the work that the team does and that is truly the heart of what hospitality is about. They stayed aware of my reason for travel and made sure to let me know that they cared. Muchas gracias! Would highly recommend!"
