"Excellent emplacement non loin de la gare et proche du centre. L’hôtel a quelques marches à l’entrée mais possède un ascenseur une fois à la réception pour monter aux étages des chambres. La chambre était propre et incluait tout ce qui nous fallait (bonus aux chaussons). La salle de bain est cependant un peu étroite. Dans l’ensemble nous avons passé un agréable séjour."

"This hostel is definitely my favorite hostel EVERRR the stairs are so convenient that you do not need to climb so chaotic (the only hostel i would sleep at the upper deck without any concerns on my knee) the room is LARGEEE and WIDEEE the bed is bigger than normal hostel and the height between two beds are very appropriate not too close. Staff are very kind on providing me information of the hostel and transport mode. The room is also clean where duvets will be changed or folded everyday! What a outstanding services! Also i had been staying in Aparto in different country which never disappoint me every single time 💕"

"The hotel is in the perfect location, right on the Arno. I scored a room with a view of the river, with the Ponte Vecchio bridge to the right and Ponte Santa Trinità to the left. I could walk to all the museums and the Duomo and the train station. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent and the coffee strong. This was my first visit to Florence, and it was marvelous! I'll be back."

"I have spend three nights at this hotel. Remarkably easy to do self check-in as I came after reception was closed. Gabriel at the reception was very detailed and caring. Location: quiet neighborhood but only 15 mins walk from downtown, this combination was perfect for me. AC was next to the window, cold air from the side, which created comfortable temperature in the room without coming down directly at bed"

"The hotel is conveniently located - 15 to 20 minute walk to both Firenze SMN Train station and also the old town of Florence. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. There is also a spacious waiting room for both waiting and luggage storage. The room is very clean and modern and amenities such as complimentary water and a modern TV are provided. Two minor complaints are that my bathroom doorknob was dislodged somehow and also that my bed was lined in the middle so i could only sleep on one side - perfect for couples but not ideal for solo travellers. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this hotel as it is afforable, convenient, and also clean, and has friendly staff."

"Super convenient, it is located 1 minute walk from the bus station. Only 50 meters away. The train station is only 5 minutes by an urban bus. The staffs were attentive and very helpful. The food was great. Only 5 minutes walk up to the panorama viewpoint, and 10 minutes walk to the fountain and the city center."

"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel La Fortezza and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10–15 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station. If you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to reach all the major attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially appreciated having a room with a window, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. One of the first things we noticed was the hotel’s pleasant signature fragrance, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, but we would especially like to thank Mr. Buli, who was working the night shift. We returned to the hotel late one evening after all the nearby restaurants had closed. When he learned that my son was hungry, he kindly prepared fresh sandwiches and yogurt for us from the hotel kitchen. His kindness and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations and made us feel truly cared for. Another thoughtful service was that the hotel offers complimentary travel adapters for guests, which was very convenient. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay at Hotel La Fortezza again on our next visit to Florence. Highly recommended!

"The hotel facility was excellent, the decoration was modern. Service was great too. The location is close to the attractions, but yet not too close to the noisy crowded environment, major tourist attractions within walking distance of 15-30 minutes."

"This was the best room I stayed out of 3 in Italy. You can get there by tram or bus from the station with a few minutes walk. The room was HUGE with a living room, balcony, and kitchen. Both heater and aircon are provided both in bedroom and living room. Would definitely recommend this."

"Amazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry. The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water. Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long. All the best to this place and the team!"
