"I saw comments saying you don't need to buy tickets to watch the dolphin feeding, but the tickets are actually for the dolphin conservation center. If you arrive very late or very early at the hotel, the ticket booth at the entrance will be unattended. You're expected to buy tickets at the visitor center behind the dolphin beach. We were 2 adults and 4 children, with two kids under 12, so we bought a 2 adult and 2 child family ticket. We stayed for two nights. We also arrived late on the first day and didn't buy tickets. Originally, we should have bought a monthly pass, but the staff at the ticket counter the next morning were very kind and let us just buy a one-day pass for $45."

"Went for a few afternoon beers with family. Bar staff went out of their way to serve locals first. Kids came to the bar to change their drink orders while I was still waiting and another staff ordered them out. Then continued to serve locals first. Keep your travelling dollars to yourself. We did."

"We stayed in one of the brand new, stand alone cabins for two nights. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Crystal who was super friendly, informative and efficient: Our accommodation exceeded our expectations. Not only was the view stunning (as promised), the entire cabin was more like a spacious, very well equiped and appointed, luxury small home. It was spotlessly clean and the master bed was super comfortable. We could not fault our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you Crystal and team for a superb stay."

"Phil was a great host. He offered and helped me change the place for the 4WD tour company to pick me up to On the Deck@Shark Bay instead of discovery center which I had booked, so I didn’t need to drive to discovery center in the morning and leave the car there for more than 8 hours. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. And I did enjoy amazing views from the deck"

"A lover conservation resort in the natures park. We stayed in the chalets. The rooms were clean there is food in both the pub and restaurant A heated pool and a perfect beach where you can swim in the sun and watch dolphins in the distance The dolphin experience is nice but its more a close observation then interaction so its certainly more for Adults then Kids. Loved it so much i ended up staying a two extra days"

"The older female bar person was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We had ‘chef’s special chicken’ which was barely warm and a steak that was tough. Such a shame as the bar looked good from the outside. It doesn’t feel as though tourists are wanted or welcome here."

"On the Deck @ Shark Bay provides splendid accommodation! We enjoyed three nights in the 'blue room' which was spacious, comfortable, immaculate and very peaceful with a private balcony. Phil and Kerrie are wonderful hosts - so welcoming and kind. Phil was very helpful assisting us with our scheduled trips out and with restaurant recommendations - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast provisions were extensive and very generous. We really appreciated the routine of ordering provisions the day before and being able to prepare them in our own time - there is a full outdoor kitchen in which to do so. Keen walkers we found the location of the property perfect for a short walk into town in the evenings - we dined two nights at The Old Pearler (not to be missed it's great!). Roos regularly come down in the evening for snacks at sunset - just magical. We loved the sense of community in Shark Bay - everyone was so lovely and friendly. All in all a wonderful trip - a big thank you to Phil and Kerrie for making it so."

Ocean out the front pool out back laundry. A daily view of emus walking past as you sit out the front. Room had double and single bed I found the owner to be very polite and helpful in extending my stay"
