My family and I are currently on the last few days of our 12-day holiday. This hotel has exceeded our expectations. Everything is clean and tidy. The pool is a lovely addition, especially for our son. However the thing that has made our holiday is the staff! This family run hotel can't do enough for u. They have made us feel so welcome. When we first went on a snorkelling trip, our son was quite nervous with the deep water, and he took a while to get the hang of his mask. Our guide, Atif, was amazing with him, so patient. On the last trip we went on, my son was like a different child. Jumping off the boat with so much confidence, this is thanks to him ❤️ The trips have been amazing. My son especially loved the fishing trip at night!! One high light for me was seeing a whale shark so close, beautiful creatures. However, the icing on the cake was the Manta rays. it's been a dream of mine to see them, and this trip didn't disappoint and really made my dream come true. They are magical! We've had the best holiday ever on this beautiful island and this hotel has made it for us! We have amazing memories that we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Perla 💕

Nice island, amazing reef for snorkeling, acceptable food. They should improve night activities and excursions: local island is avoidable.

酒店還不錯，一家全包島，來過二次度假了。都是和朋友來的。 酒店設施有點老舊，聽說明年開始裝修了。 小費要帶足，這個島酒店員工普遍對白人態度好一些，但是衹有你小費給足。 每天晚上都是自助餐模式，但是每天不同的國家主題的美食，東西很多很豐富。 價格有一次吃高級餐廳的時候，還有出海或者項目三個免費。我們去了當地居民島，建議別去，一點都不好玩也不怎麼樣。 水上飛機都是美金收款，超重也會加錢。酒店洗漱用品等很一般，建議自己帶一些，包括房間的零食，也不是很好吃。島上商店買東西很貴很貴，都是美金價格，潛水裝備可以免費拿，但是不是很好，自己可以國內帶過去。

The whole experience of our stay at Outrigger Maafushivaru was excellent! When we arrived we were met on the pier by the resort manager Guillaume and Vishant, our personal assistant during our stay. The facilities, especially our beach villas, the wonderful restaurants and bars and also the spa are outstanding. The gardens are well maintained with the beach and paths being cleaned each day to remove any fallen leaves. The food is excellent with a very big range of choice. The island has great snorkelling on the resort reefs and the dive centre offer trips to see whale shark, manta rays, nurse sharks and turtles as well as fishing, diving and other water sports. The service from everyone of the team was incredible and I didn't experience such a customer friendly service. Everyone is interested in your wellbeing and take time to chat with you. If I come back to maldives, I will definitely come back to Outrigger Maafushivaru becouse of the wonderful staff and the beautiful island. For those who wanted calm and relaxation, the resort is beautiful. All staff are friendly. The island is a quiet and nice place. All services for a period of five days are sufficient. All employees thank them. The receptionist, Hajar, thanked her for the classy dealings and services she created and treated him. Room service employee Hassan is wonderful.

Nova Resort was chosen after much online research. It was our first visit to the Maldives and so this review contains no comparisons to previous Maldivian experiences. The headline summary is however, that after over 30 years of holidaying as a couple, this resort and holiday ranks as number one. From the moment we arrived, to when we left, we couldn’t find a fault with the staff or the facilities. A holiday in paradise where we were perfectly looked after. The number of guests that the complex accommodates is up to about 180. (There are more staff than guests). It means that it never felt busy. We were there in late February and didn’t get troubled by mosquitoes or other insects. Not sure whether that is a benefit of when we visited or is the norm. It is worth noting that the entire resort has undergone a renovation approximately 18 months ago and so none of the facilities are ‘tired’. Staff Without exception, every member of staff was pleasant, had a smile on their face and went out of their way to make sure that you were happy and well looked after. This included the ‘behind the scenes’ staff such as the maintenance and house keeping teams. Discussions with staff confirmed that Nova looks after their employees and that probably goes along way to them recruiting and retaining staff with the right attitude. Dining Most meals were taken at the ‘Soul Kitchen’ which was a buffet and self service. The food was varied with daily choices to suit all tastes. The buffet area where the food is collected is a separate air-conditioned room from the dining area. This ensured that the food was kept in a temperature controlled environment. The waiting staff were amazing - kept our drinks topped up, water glasses refilled and plates cleared as we finished each course. They worked hard, but importantly there were enough staff on duty all the time. We ate at ‘Flames’ on three occasions, where it is a fully-served ‘a la carte’. The quality of the food and the service was excellent, but not all dishes were included as part of the ‘all inclusive’ package. That felt a bit strange and maybe it would be better to give a financial ‘allowance’ to all-inclusive diners rather than a small discount off some dishes. As an example, you could have a 220g rib-eye steak as part of the package, but you have to pay for a 220g sirloin steak. We also paid extra for the ‘Fish BBQ on the beach’, which was excellent, but again felt that maybe more than a 15% discount as an all-inclusive guest would have been appropriate. Diving The diving experiences and the team at ‘Aquaholics’ were super. One of the most professional outfits that I have dived with. Whilst the corals in the area are badly bleached, the marine life is fantastically varied and plentiful. Successful trips were organised to snorkel with Whale Sharks and dive with Manta Rays. That coupled with the ‘normal’ sharks, napoleon wrasse, turtles etc etc made for a memorable week of dives. The dive crew knew their dive sites

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Centara Grand Resort in the Maldives. The entire staff was amazing and incredibly kind throughout my stay. In particular, I must commend Nabeel for his outstanding service. His attentiveness and helpfulness truly set him apart, and he seemed like he should be the manager with his level of dedication. Her warm and friendly demeanor made my check-in process seamless and enjoyable. The Centara Grand Resort is a true paradise, and the exceptional staff, including Nabeel and Chanapha, made my stay even more memorable. I can't wait to return and experience their top-notch hospitality once again.
