"Very central, directly next to post office and train station. A very Chinese-centric hotel, hence why only available on trip.com one assumes. Staff were confused how I was able to book this hotel! Massive room and quite modern, but…. Typical poor Chinese building standards. Plumbing smelt and a delightful piece of poo came floating out of the shower pan drain one morning. Suffice to say, I was somewhat disturbed. The next day when a cockroach (I assume?) decided to fly (quite literally) out of the AC unit onto my bed, I woke up quite quickly, I must say! Electric toilet was curious, if not a little confusing! Lots of bathroom accessories though. Get the plumbing fixed and the… hygiene looked into, and it would be very reasonable."

"After arriving, there were four or five front desk staff to greet us. Some spoke English, some spoke Chinese (not very fluently), but they were all very warm and helpful. It felt like home! Drinks and snacks in the lobby were free to use, and there were plenty of large bottles of water in the room. In short, it was very good! It was less than ten minutes' drive from the airport, and everything was good! Next time I go to Tajikistan, I will definitely stay here again!"
