I stayed at the newer Fairfield in May 2021. The room assigned to me faced Franklin Blvd. with a nice view of the Willamette River on the other side of the road. Unfortunately, I believe the builder failed to place sound proofing in the walls and the windows didn’t seem to provide any sound proof qualities either. The traffic passing by sounded like I had opened the window to make sure I got an ear full. I called the front desk to ask for a new room on the other side of the hotel and was pleased at how pleasant and responsive the front desk person was. I was immediately offered an equal room and ended up sleeping peacefully through the night. A nice hotel, but it does mater what side you are on.

At check in the front desk agent Crystal was so delightful and very helpful, she made sure to exceed our expectations, right from the start we felt very welcomed! We just stayed for one night.Bed was very firm but provided an ok night's rest. Ear plugs recommended plus slippers/socks when walking on the stained dirty carpet. Fortunately the carpet was a dark brown color.I wondered if it had ever been steam cleaned. The bathroom was adequate and appeared to have been recently remodeled.The bathroom door had multiple poorly patched holes the size of a fist plus a steel plate where the door had been kicked in.The walls also had unpainted repairs to holes in the wall. Perhaps the damage was caused by a disgruntled U of Oregon fan upset his team was defeated by the Utes or Huskies? I now understand why this hotel places a damage deposit at check in. The University Inn was less expensive than nearby competitors.I don't expect comparable amenities or ambience,just a decent nights sleep in a clean place. We won't be staying again at the University Inn.

One of the 3 worst motels I have ever booked in... So bad I did not stay the night. I booked a room through Expedia because I was working entertainment at an event that was going to run well past midnight and didn't want to drive 3 hours home after. I didn't need anything fancy, just clean, safe and reasonably comfortable. While checking in, the other guests that I saw looked way too much like characters on COPS, and I don't mean the ones with badges! Sadly, the motel staff was not much better. I didn't have time before my gig to start looking for something else, so I checked in at about 6PM. The place seems to be a regular problem spot with local police due to the clientele. I was required to sign a waiver notice for evictions due to drugs, fights, loud noise, intoxication, etc. Entering the room, the smell was distinctly like ”********'s perfume”, if you know what I mean. The bedspread looked like someone had been walking on it with filthy bare feet. I had been driving for several hours, and still had to work most of the night, so I pulled back the dirty bedspread to take a nap. After about 20 minutes, I heard a loud argument between one of the managers and a guest about whatever they were doing in their room. Getting ready for my gig, I didn't feel safe leaving anything of value in the room, so I packed it all back into my car. At that point, I decided that I would rather drive through the night after working, than come back to Executive Motel. $93 for a 20 minute nap!

One of the 3 worst motels I have ever booked in... So bad I did not stay the night. I booked a room through Expedia because I was working entertainment at an event that was going to run well past midnight and didn't want to drive 3 hours home after. I didn't need anything fancy, just clean, safe and reasonably comfortable. While checking in, the other guests that I saw looked way too much like characters on COPS, and I don't mean the ones with badges! Sadly, the motel staff was not much better. I didn't have time before my gig to start looking for something else, so I checked in at about 6PM. The place seems to be a regular problem spot with local police due to the clientele. I was required to sign a waiver notice for evictions due to drugs, fights, loud noise, intoxication, etc. Entering the room, the smell was distinctly like ”********'s perfume”, if you know what I mean. The bedspread looked like someone had been walking on it with filthy bare feet. I had been driving for several hours, and still had to work most of the night, so I pulled back the dirty bedspread to take a nap. After about 20 minutes, I heard a loud argument between one of the managers and a guest about whatever they were doing in their room. Getting ready for my gig, I didn't feel safe leaving anything of value in the room, so I packed it all back into my car. At that point, I decided that I would rather drive through the night after working, than come back to Executive Motel. $93 for a 20 minute nap!

We just stayed for one night.Bed was very firm but provided an ok night's rest. Ear plugs recommended plus slippers/socks when walking on the stained dirty carpet. Fortunately the carpet was a dark brown color.I wondered if it had ever been steam cleaned. The bathroom was adequate and appeared to have been recently remodeled.The bathroom door had multiple poorly patched holes the size of a fist plus a steel plate where the door had been kicked in.The walls also had unpainted repairs to holes in the wall. Perhaps the damage was caused by a disgruntled U of Oregon fan upset his team was defeated by the Utes or Huskies? I now understand why this hotel places a damage deposit at check in. The University Inn was less expensive than nearby competitors.I don't expect comparable amenities or ambience,just a decent nights sleep in a clean place. We won't be staying again at the University Inn.

This was my sixth or seventh time staying at the Hampton Inn in Eugene and it continues to be one of my favorite places to stay in Oregon. The employees at the front desk are consistently helpful and easy too deal with. The breakfasts are great. I also love the heated swimming pool! The rooms are always comfortable, and I’m always amazed at how quiet the hotel is after 10:00 pm. Finally, the hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, and most importantly, the University of Oregon. (I’m a big Ducks fan) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone station in Eugene. It’s a great place,

I stayed at the newer Fairfield in May 2021. The room assigned to me faced Franklin Blvd. with a nice view of the Willamette River on the other side of the road. Unfortunately, I believe the builder failed to place sound proofing in the walls and the windows didn’t seem to provide any sound proof qualities either. The traffic passing by sounded like I had opened the window to make sure I got an ear full. I called the front desk to ask for a new room on the other side of the hotel and was pleased at how pleasant and responsive the front desk person was. I was immediately offered an equal room and ended up sleeping peacefully through the night. A nice hotel, but it does mater what side you are on.

This is my first stay at this hotel, but it was amazing! This hotel is nearby the station, so If you are going to take a train, It is the best hotel to stay. The room was little bit dark, but the interior was so unique and clean. I will choose this hotel next time.

My stay was pretty much perfect at the Candlewood. At check in the front desk agent Crystal was so delightful and very helpful, she made sure to exceed our expectations, right from the start we felt very welcomed! A big shout out to Crystal for doing such a great job and being extra helpful with all our questions!!Our room was very clean and tidy, spacious and a great view from the free upgrade we received at check in. We will definitely be staying here again, when the staff is as wonderful as this experience we didn’t want to leave! Mary C.
