"Very disappointed with the hotel, the rooms are old, no storage, there was no heating, it was extremely cold, a technician was supposed to intervene but he never came. The sound insulation is catastrophic, we can hear everything the roommates do. The swimming pool was supposed to be heated but this was not the case, the hammam did not work so everyone crowded into the sauna so it was rarely available. We sat on small rattan armchairs to wait for our massage, these armchairs were moldy. The positive points: the staff, breakfast and herbal tea available."

"We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful and historic Manoir. Camille and Hugues are excellent hosts, they and their staff looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble. The cuisine is outstandingly good, the choice if menu imaginative and well presented. This was our first visit, we will definitely be back"

"We received a friendly welcome from the hosts. They all speak English which is a bonus. The room was rather small - it was a room for 2 - but clean and the bathroom was nice with a heated towel rail, which we don't always see in some hotels, and it came in handy as the early mornings were very cold. The breakfast was superb, and the stewed prunes and fruit salad were sublime. Delicious cheeses and thick creamy yoghurt complete the gastronomic delights. Definitely enough to set one up for a day of exploring the region."

"A very clean and quiet room, comfortable bedding. Consistent value for money. The breakfast was very good and the dinner nothing to complain about, very well cooked fresh produce. The staff is pleasant whether at reception or in restaurant service."

"We went for dinner one evening in this sublime setting, but what a disappointment! When you order two glasses of champagne, they should be poured at the table and not handed to the waiter ("champagne or crémant"). The meal was bland and minimalist. The service was not up to the establishment's standards. A smile, admittedly, when the bill arrived."

"We had an amazing experience with this hotel !!! The staff is willing to go an extra mile to help you out. One of our group members was not well and they immediately called an ambulance!!! They also helped translate in English.He was well attended and he was fine. A massive thanks to Caroline, Benjamin, Ines, Alex for making it soooo special for us."

"THE COCKTAILS LIST OF THE BARMAN ARE A MUST!!! Tje staff at the Chesney Domain are friendly and available most of the time. We feel ourselves at home, I highly recommand this place even fot a day as its only 1 hour from Paris! The must to do is The bar, the Barman is very nice, gentle he has created his own list of cocktails. Try the smash basilic at the Chesney Domain, its heaven on earth. "

"Stayed here 3 times now on our way to and from Spain. Excellent overnight stop. Great rooms, excellent restaurant, great staff and the added attraction of being on the River Seine with the huge barges going up and down stream. Can't wait for our stop next year!"
