這次訂的是三人房和豪華雙人房兩個房間，前麪已一併評價。總體上對三人房的麪積和布局很滿意；雙人房則麪積較小且有閣樓斜角，以後再訂，會選其它房型。酒店位置，服務和早餐都給好評。

An easy seven-minute walk from the train station is the comfortable and delightful Hotel Sonne Fussen. You will have to cross a two-lane road, but there are crosswalks at either end. There are actually two entrances. If you go to the right-side facing Sonne, there is a convenient door entering the hotel. The other door is on the people street of Reichenstrasse. In between the entrances are several smaller stores. There is a convenient parking garage in the lower floor. There is a room where you do have access to a washing machine and dryer found in the garage area. The reception staff, like the hotel, are friendly and accommodating. Don’t forget to ask for your “Fussen Card” which will give you a free bus ride up to Neuschwanstein and back. The busses are right by the train station. Our room was indeed very clean and pleasant. We had a balcony room facing the mountains. The only downside was the lack of privacy to one side. The balcony is nice though and we did use it The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was large enough. We did like the soft-carpet in the room. By the desk was a large picture of the library museum that was once in a Benedictine monastery and later became City Hall. If you have time, visiting that museum is well worth the money and time. Our two days at Sonne’s we elected not to have our room cleaned. A box of towels was kindly left at our front door. Sonne’s was the only hotel to do this in our month long journey through Bavaria. The hotel is decorated with interesting pieces of art. Some of the pieces could be in a movie. Breakfast is a highlight. The staff takes superb effort to make your breakfast most enjoyable. There are all sorts of items to choose from. You will not starve. I did like the sausages and croissants. Most people, if not all, come to Fussen for the castle. We found the village of Fussen to be a delight. Besides the monastery museum, there is Hohes castle close by and a doable walk to Lechfall. An Aldi’s is just down the street. We found walking the people streets brought real character to Fussen. We did enjoy the hotel’s restaurant for one meal. On a side street is a superb Asian restaurant called ‘Thuy Golden Stabchen.” They had the best shrimp. Well the location is amazing!! You can walk anywhere from the hotel which is a bonus but you pay for that bonus too. It is expensive to stay here, the rooms are large and basically bare. Clean and only one pillow per person. To walk to the room took some time due to the largeness of the corridors - sometimes you think you need a map! Beds were ok, not the best not the worse! Buffet breakfast was very good, lots of options and good quality. Probably wouldn’t stay again would look around for a smaller more personable hotel. The underground parking under the hotel has limited, very limited parking in an extremely tight carpark took multiple turns to even get in! Would not recommend that but near the information centre there is a large well lit multi storey parking garage and open 24/7 and wasn’t expensive! The town is beautiful and well worth the visit.

+ super Lage in der Innenstadt von Füssen + Modernes / relativ neues Badezimmer + Ruhige Lage trotz Innenstadt Negative Punkte: Wir wurden im Vorfeld bereits vom Hotel kontaktiert ob wir mit dem Fahrrad anreisen und einen Parkplatz benötigen für 7,90/Nacht. Wir hatten beides bejaht. Daraufhin wurde uns zugesagt: Reservierung eines überdachten Parkplatzes (wurde auf Nachfrage vom Hotel auf die Frage ob im Freien oder Garage mit ”im Freien aber überdacht” bestätigt). Bzgl den Fahrrädern wurde uns zugesichert, dass uns das Personal den Fahrradraum auf- und abschließen würde. Als wir dann ankamen stellte sich heraus, dass der Parkplatz nicht überdacht war, sondern ein Parkplatz der als absolutes Halteverbot gekennzeichnet war. Auf die Nachfrage beim Hotel ob dies schon richtig wäre, wurde uns das bestätigt mit der Aussage ”das haben wir extra angebracht, damit hier keiner parkt...”. Auf die Frage nach dem abschließbarem Fahrradraum hieß es, es gebe keinen, wir sollen die Räder einfach in den Hausflur stellen, dort gäbe es eine Kamera und wäre total sicher. Anmerkung: wir haben uns dann dagegen entschieden da wir zwei nagelneue E-bikes hatten und in dem sog. Flur keine Möglichkeit zum Absperren der Räder war (z.B. Geländer o.ä.) und die Haustüre auch nachts nicht abgesperrt war und von außen für jedermann zugänglich war. Wir haben uns gegen ein Frühstück entschieden (9,90€ pro Person) und das war auch gut so, denn die Auswahl ist sehr begrenzt. Tipp: in der Nähe sind einige tolle Cafés und Bäckereien, lieber dort zuschlagen, alles frisch und super Qualität. Zimmer: wir hatten ein 4-Bett Zimmer da es ein kleineres zum Buchungszeitraum nicht mehr gab. Das Zimmer war groß, das Bad relativ modern. Generell ist das Gebäude aber alt. Absolute Lachnummer: der Safe auf dem Zimmer: 1) so winzig, dass gerade eine Geldbörse rein passt und leicht, ca. 2kg schwer 2) der Safe war herausnehmbar und nicht fest verschraubt, sondern nur mit dem Regalboden verschraubt, so dass er extrem leicht gestohlen hätte werden können. Fazit: Füssen ist generell sehr teuer, aber wir werden das nächste Mal sicherlich lieber 10-15€ / Nacht mehr ausgeben und auf eine Unterkunft mit besseren Bewertungen zurück greifen

I stayed at Hotel Ludwig for one evening in October 2021. I was pleasantly surprised at everything this hotel offered. Directions provided by the hotel were spot on and allowed me to reach the “secluded” parking lot that was between hotel buildings with ease. Upon check-in, the staff spoke English and assisted myself and 2 friends in getting to our room and having dinner. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator so we had to hike up four levels to our room. However, the room was PHENOMENAL!! It was a quadruple room and was very spacious! There were 3 of us in the room and there was plenty of room for 3 women to each have their own space!! The beds were comfortable and the room was warm (it was cold outside!) and the bathroom was huge. We had dinner at their restaurant and I was very happy with the extensive menu and wine options (try the dry Riesling!), food was great. The bartender was very attentive and suggested local drinks for us besides the wine. Checkout was smooth and quick and we were allowed to leave the car in the parking lot until we were done shopping that morning. Perfect location directly adjacent to a very large shopping pedestrian zone. Overall, stay was exceptional; I would give them 10 stars if I could—definitely recommend this hotel and I WILL be staying here again when I return to Füssen!

Getting into the hotel was a bit tricky. Apparently it isn't open all the time, and we didn't understand that. We rang the bell a while, but finally got in when a guest was leaving. We found the desk, found the room list, and managed to find our room and get in, and it was lovely. We had booked a room for 4 people but were moved to the knight's room that slept six. It was nice to have the extra space. There are toilets and showers on each floor, and all were very clean. We didn't quite understand the shower booking system, so yes, I managed to walk in on someone. Fortunately she was done and dressed, so it wasn't quite a disaster. We didn't have a problem with crowds for either the shower or bathrooms. The location was right in the middle of all the activity. People were eating below us and at night musicians played music. It was very pleasant. The room got a bit stuffy, and so we kept the windows open at night. There was minimal noise, and we weren't bothered, except one early morning when the garbage trucks came through and the street sweepers afterwards. Lots of shops and eateries on the street. There also was a Woolworths a couple of shops from our hotel, for those who are old enough to remember them. We went inside to see what it was about, and it reminded me of my vague memories of shopping in one as a child. I had accidently spilled something on my shirt the day before, and couldn't get the stain out. I found a good replacement shirt at Woolworths for only 5 euros. I've washed and worn it a few times since we've been home, and it is still in good shape. I recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again. The proprietor is a young guy who was very helpful. He apparently works another job while trying to get the hotel going, which is why it isn't open all the time.

Wir waren hier für vier Tage im März mit unseren 3 jährigen Zwillingen, da ich gerne mal das Schloss Neuschwanstein besuchen wollte, bevor wieder die Massen an Touristen kommen. Die Unterkunft kann man leider nur mit wenigen Worten beschreiben: Unglaublich!!! Bereits die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und der Check In schnell gemacht. Zudem gab es bereits diverse Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Parkplätze sind kostenlos vorhanden. Das Hotel ist Familiengeführt - und das aus tiefster Leidenschaft. Hier ist der Kunde noch König! Das Zimmer war riesig (gefühlt größer als gebucht) und der Ausblick Top! Sauberkeit lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber zweckmäßig zu einem fairen Preis. Unsere Kinder haben sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und waren, trotz des Alters, gern gesehene Gäste. Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar - eine kleine Anekdote. Am ersten Abend waren wir in einem Restaurant essen und haben zwei Hauptgerichte, 1 Flasche Wasser und ein Bier bestellt - preislich genau so teuer wie eine Übernachtung inkl. Frühstück. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
