"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

"A good location, easily accessible by car and convenient for exploring the city of Graz on the other side of the Danube on foot. The private, uncovered parking right in front of the entrance is convenient. Surprisingly, upon arrival, we were informed that reception was only open until 8:00 PM; after that, entry would be permitted with the room badge through a back door—a highly unusual option for a 4-star hotel, I would say. The room was basic, with a comfortable bed and a renovated bathroom with a large walk-in shower, but unfortunately no bidet. No Italian channels on the TV. The staff were friendly and efficient. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, which we found to be too expensive for our usual fare (cappuccino and croissant). I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Graz, but expect a decent 3-star hotel!"

"This aparthotel has a bus stop right outside, making it convenient for getting to tourist attractions or Graz train station. The breakfast selection may not be extensive, but everything is prepared with care; lactose-free milk is also provided. All the staff at the restaurant and hotel counter are very friendly. This hotel is a great choice for families."
