"We stayed at Amanzi for one night while travelling through Harare. We were in the Mozambique room, which was beautifully furnished, spacious, and had a great bathroom with both a shower and a bath. We slept incredibly well. The food and service at dinner were truly 5-star, and the breakfast omelette was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The grounds are immaculately kept and lush. Compliments to the entire team. This is definitely our go-to place to stay whenever we’re back in Harare."

"To calm it substandard is an understatement. The worst possible hotel I have ever been in all my life. I raise concerns and the management has the audacity to call me a lier! As rude as it can get! The food is terrible. Hardly 2 items on the menu! The rooms are literally falling apart. I will never recommend that place to anyone even if it were the last accommodation remaining on earth!"

"Arnold and his team are simply extra ordinary. This guesthouse is a hidden gem that honestly speaking makes me look forward to all my trips to Zim. It has become a home away from home for me and even if the accommodation was way below par, which is certainly is not, I'd choose it because of their pork chops :-) All the staff here have become family. The beds are out of this world, pool area inviting and cleanliness top top notch. I would certainly classify myself as a fussy customer but my idiosyncrasies and lofty expectations are always met with the utmost humility and eager willingness to serve. Thank you to Hilltop, Arnold and the entire team. I've recommended Hilltop to over 30 friends and colleagues. None of whom have ever been disappointed."

"I can’t speak more highly of Ballantyne’s Lodge. It was my first visit to Zimbabwe and stayed at the Lodge for 8 nights whilst on a business trip The whole team are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them. From the moment you arrive, to the time you leave you are looked after and made to feel very comfortable . I loved the concept of the Lodge and it has such a relaxing vibe . The breakfast is freshly cooked to order and the evening meals delicious Thanks very much for looking after me and please can I have the same room when I return later in the year "
