"This was an old office of the Telegraph company, renovated and converted into a hotel. Has plenty of opportunities, the spa is great, but the sauna is pretty low temperature. The hotel is close to the harbor, even has a walk path for pedestrians to the harbor."

"Style and original restored house. Beautiful made. Very high walls, each room a name/theme. Great rooms, much space. Air conditioning good. But: very bright, the street surrounding 2/3 is very present despite closed windows, which is certainly due to the old wall. Also every little noise, whether in the staircase or above our room was well understood. Breakfast is small, but everything there. The older man was very exciting to disguise us. Public parking in the circle is available free, you had to keep sometime looking for something. The chair was very slow (!) then he stayed standing, but the door didn't open, drove back to the ground floor independently... we went only stairs afterwards 😂 Under the roof a common kitchen, well equipped, small sweet roof terrace."

"From 02.-06.09.2025 we stayed (2 persons - 74 + 77) at a price of 800 Euro in the 1st floor of the International Acores Boutique Hotel in Horta, in the Curtis 103 room, with direct view to the port of Horta. The house, completely renovated and reconstructed about 6-8 years ago, is located next to restaurant and bar with outdoor beauty and according to negative sound scenes 13 hotel rooms with modern equipment, as well as bathroom and toilet. The rooms and the other rooms of the hotel are very clean and clean, and there is absolutely nothing to defect. However, the fact that all rooms are very circumstant and also affected by the strong noise of the headstone patch streets directly adjacent to the hotel, on which the main traffic of mopeds, Cars and trucks flow through Horta day and night. In the rooms, however, this traffic noise is still so noisy due to the untied sound protection windows that you can hardly sleep without hearing protection and thus hardly. The breakfast in the restaurant is rather modest and the service leaves very desirable. "Hotel a short distance on foot from the historic center of Horta, structured "amphitheatrically" so that all the rooms face the internal garden, with swimming pool, and have a view of the island of Pico. The rooms are large, comfortable, and have a small balcony. Laminated flooring (no carpet). The lighting in the room is poor, which makes it a little sad in the evening. Few wall sockets to charge mobile phones and PCs at the same time. or other electronic devices. Free Wifi network available to guests, but without security password. The common room for breakfast/dinner is large and bright, equipped with a rich buffet. The collection of used plates by some members of the dining room staff was a little too "pressing", as they literally "pulled away" the dishes on which the last mouthful of food was being consumed... Courteous reception staff, who also speaks English. Overall, a hotel in which we enjoyed our stay and which we recommend."

"Great place to stay in Horta, just a few minute’s drive or 10 minutes’ walk to the town center, and great views across the bay to the Monte. Access to the building and room was through door codes, so easy check-in. Our room had a nice sea/mountain view, plenty of windows, was clean and comfortable. Next to our room was the very nice communal kitchen for preparing and eating meals – really a great asset. The AC worked well, as did the Wifi internet. We really enjoyed are stay here and would definitely stay here again."
