"To start with the positives: This is one of the few airport hotels with free shuttle transfers which worked well. The room is large and as per the pics, with comfortable bed. Negatives: The hotel "lost" my booking. They said they tried to call me with no answer because my phone was switched off, but when I suggested this may be because I was flying the receptionist said "No...you had switched your phone off". Quite a strange answer & attitude to a guest. She "rebooked" me and I ended up paying more then my original booking price. I stayed two nights, and throughout my stay, I had ZERO TV connection. I told the receptionist, and she (a different receptionist to check in) didnt seem to care at all !! ("it probably needs rebooting").....but despite being told someone would attend to it, nothing was done. For the money I paid, having no TV is ridiculous. Minor issues.....no handle on the shower tap, nowhere to hang a towel in the bathoom (there had been something on the back of the door, but was missing). Despite being listed on the amenities, there was no fridge. (just a gap where it should have been.) Overall, for the money paid, a very disappointing stay and will definitely look for other options on future visits."

"The place seemed clean enough and very close to the airport with free airport shuttle. Had a dinner place 100 feet from there which was nice. Took the 202 bus from downtown to get there and cost me $1.25 a person to get there. The people where nice and looks nice however, they are starting to not keep it up as cracks on tiles and wood scratched etc. Still would not effect me from going again but they have to keep up and will continue to be a nice clean hotel"

"It was great from check in to check out nice room spacious and semi clean it could've been a little cleaner in the bathroom area I had to clean out the tub and wipe down the sink and cabinet area found a contact lens that wasn't mine b4"

"The room was clean, and the shuttle bus to the airport was very convenient. However, one problem occurred, which is why I rated the service as very poor. It's a real shame because it would have been a very good hotel if it weren't for this issue."

"This motel is special: I’m a motel fan and it is the first motel I’ve ever see that goes with an elevator! it gave me both a surprise and delight that I could easily carry my luggage to the second floor. You can tell the owner knows how to do business: it’s TV is even larger than the one I lived in downtown NOLA—and most important of all, the TV is working very well. Before switching to this motel, I lived in Aloft New Orleans Downtown for 3 nights, with nightly rate above $200, yet I felt quite inconvenient because Aloft lacked this and that. So really, amenities can be new or old, but the sense of the owner to invest in essentials to provide convenience does not necessarily mean that these things have to be “fancy” (but useless). While I wouldn’t say the level of cleanliness was also super—it was ok (though the blankets could have been nicer)—but overall in the world of motels, this one makes me feel that the owner does intend to offer you some needed service."

"The hotel was just renovated. The place was clean and brand new. However, the water took time to warm up but it was hot after that. It was super helpful to have a airport shuttle running 24/7 and the service run every hour. We were satisfied with the service."
