Not so close to train station is bit inconvenient, more ideal for those who need to use metro or prefer to shop nearby instead of visiting other cities.
Inside the room is quite basic and not so convenient for charging electronic devices as there is very limited outlet and rather far from bed and table. Poor soundproof as a result you can hear everything from next door and upstair. In addition, hair drier provided and the bathroom is vintage level so do not expect to completely dry the hair all at once unless for those have not much hair left.
The best part of this hotel would be the young man Arthur who worked for the night shift at lobby during our stays. He has delightfully helped us with traveling direction/information and choosing local beers. He friendly attitude genuinely made us feel relaxed and welcomed.

Apart is een goed woord voor dit hotel, het idee is leuk maar de executie wat minder. Keuken is eigenlijk alleen geschikt voor een eitje dus verwacht niet te besparen op het eten, er zijn drie pannen waarvan er 2 te groot waren voor op het kookplaatje en er zijn 2 veel te grote deksels voor de pannen. De ventilatie zat echt vol met een plakkaat aan stof, en de airco werkte maar half en gaf merendeel van de tijd een error melding, niet heel fijn met 35 graden. Er is ook een waterkoker en koffiezetapparaat inbegrepen, maar geen thee of koffie, dit moet je beneden voor €3 kopen. De buitenplek zijn 3 tafeltjes met een paar stoelen maar eigenlijk zit je je half op de stoep, dus verwacht hier ook niet teveel van. Medewerkers waren aardig en spraken engels dus dat was fijn. Het lijkt een hotel meer geschikt voor business men, die bij het Europese centrum moeten zijn. Als met al vind ik het duur voor hoeveel je nog zelf moet doen bij vertrek, zelf het afval wegbrengen en alles afwassen (waar absoluut geen middelen voor worden meegegeven, we hadden niet eens een theedoek) geeft het geen hotel achtige ervaring. Ik laat het zelf nooit vies achter maar dat dit verwacht wordt voor €130 per nacht vind ik eigenlijk absurd. Ook krijg je voor een week 2 setjes handdoeken, hier moet je vervolgens €1,50 voor bijbetalen als je schonen wilt.

The hotel was good. The location is good. One thing you need to be careful about is that this hotel comes in an uphill location, so you need to be ready to walk. There is only one thing that made my stay awful. it was some stains on the bed. I arrived at 2 AM. I was tired and I decided to sleep but in the morning I woke up. And I found out that the bed was having weird spots, It looks like human ****.

Great location, situated in the shopping neighbourhood with a number of luxury brands and famous chocolatier and only take 15-20 minutes to the Grand Place by walk. Right next to metro station and tram station, perfect for travellers who want to wander around in the city and go to the train station.
The services are great, the staff are friendly with lots of personal touch. Responsive all the times and sent what I asked for in a short while.
The room is spacious and clean, but the mattress is a bit too soft to me (it’s quite personal anyways). Overall it’s a great value for money choice at this price.

Don’t let the 3 star classification fool you. If I was told that this was a four star hotel, I would not question it at all. It had such a warm and cozy feel to it starting from the lobby area and up to the room during my student was a medium size one since I was travel solo But if you’re traveling as a couple, you might wanna get a bigger room. Was very friendly and helpful, the room, and the general areas were very clean, and the location was amazing. I have not tried their breakfast as I wanted to discover nearby places. Another plus was that you could open all the windows in the room to get fresh air. This was extra helpful as they had no ac in September. If you prefer cold room to sleep in, this might not be the right one for you around this time. Brenda at the lobby is very nice and Brandon at the lobby is very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay ay Hygge again.

Le personnel est très agréable et disponible. L’hôtel est un peu vieillissant et les chambres mériteraient une petite rénovation. Le quartier laisse un peu à désirer la nuit, envahi par des SDF qui dorment sur les trottoirs. On ne se sent pas en insécurité mais je ne m’attendais à cela. L’hôtel Marivaux est un bel hôtel mais je trouve que le rapport qualité prix est trop élevé. Le petit déjeuner était bon mais rien d’exceptionnel.

I had a good stay here overall. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and the stay itself pleasant. One thing I really liked was the room size - it was quite big compared to most hostels. There was actually enough space to walk around comfortably and open up your luggage without feeling cramped.
Cleanliness was decent and the location is convenient, making it easy to get around the city. Another plus is that they offer free luggage storage if you arrive early, which is really helpful if you get here before check-in.
The only downside is that the lift only operates during certain hours for safety reasons. If you check out early (before 9am), the elevator won’t be running, so you’ll have to carry your luggage down the stairs yourself.
Overall, a comfortable and spacious hostel with friendly staff, just something to keep in mind if you have an early departure.

Nice hotel. not quite in the center, but possible to walk there in 20 minutes. Love the Sauna on the 25th floor with a great view and can warmly recommend the restaurant (the Iris) which has a limited menu, but all dishes on it are very well prepared (we ate our way through). Staff is friendl as well.

FFazian, MalaysiaI really feel good and love staying at Novotel Grand Place,Brussels. Belgium was the first stop on my trip this time. The warm welcome from the Novotel staff made me feel safe and happy. The room was clean and comfortable—though not very big for the four of us, it was still spacious and well-arranged, with the added bonus of a bathtub. Breakfast was great, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a ‘Halal Food’ section, which made it easier for us as Muslims to enjoy the meal. A recommended hotel—I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I stayed at Bedford Hotel Brussels for 4 days 3 nights with my family and honestly we’re super satisfied.
Location very strategic, dekat city centre betul-betul. Cuma masa mula-mula sampai tu agak jauh sikit nak jalan kaki dari bahnhof ke hotel sebab waktu tu kami belum beli public transport ticket lagi. Tapi once dah ada ticket, tram & bus memang dekat dengan hotel and terus boleh go around the area, so memang senang nak go anywhere.
Area around the hotel pun easy to find halal-friendly food, memang banyak actually, so jangan risau, just cari memang ada yang halal certified 👍
Room quite spacious, clean and comfortable for family stay.
Service pun tip top, honestly nothing to complain. I asked for extra blanket pun mereka cepat hantar terus ke bilik hihi 🤍
Overall memang recommended kalau datang Brussels with family ✨

I did feel there needs to be clearer instructions on how to turn up the heating and warm the room up.....

PPengguna TetamuStayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.

KKate ThomCheck-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait.
The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay.
When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not.
If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in.
Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10).
The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English.
The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

We traveled to Brussels mainly for the Christmas markets, which were spread across different areas of the city, and we were able to reach all of them on foot. Although the breakfast was not particularly impressive, it was still convenient and nice to have it included in the stay.

Unfortunately heating is not great, because it uses AC unit which shut downs unexpectedly. Consequently it was cold when we entered and the heating also turned off during the night, making it cold in the morning. Tea and coffee in the room would be appreciated.

PPengguna TetamuReasonable hotel to stay in. The room is small just nice to fit 2 single beds. There's a writing table and chair for writing and working. The room looks quite old with old carpet and furniture but still functional. The bed is is small but comfortable. The toilet is small with basic soap and shampoo provided. The hotel is very near to the tourist attractions like the peeing boy statute, chocolate shops and souvenir shops all along the street. Lot's of food places and snacks like crepe and churros. Halal food is also easily available.

No amenities such as kettle, cups or phone to call the reception.in the room. The check-in time was long, as there was only 1 person present and the queue was quite long.

LLulubell2006Hotel Mozart is in an excellent location, just a one-minute walk from Grand Place, which is ideal for sightseeing and exploring the centre of Brussels on foot. Being so close to restaurants, shops, and attractions is definitely the hotel’s biggest advantage.
The room was quite small, which may feel a bit cramped, especially if you have luggage. Breakfast is provided but is left out already prepared and can sit out for up to two hours, which may not be to everyone’s taste.
That said, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the owner is nice and approachable. However, he did come across as slightly unprofessional at times, as I saw him on a few occasions wearing a dressing gown.
Overall, it’s a decent option for a short stay if location is your priority and you don’t mind a few quirks.
