Due to the house remodel, we find Instone for a temporary place to stay. Instone is a place, that is closed to kids' school. There are many bus routes so it easy to reach MRT and downtown by bus.
Instone provides breakfast, the servant made an exception to allow my kid to have her breakfast before the service hour so she could eat before going to school. We appreciate it. They provide bread and congee, coffee, tea, side dishes, and salad, simple and overall quality is good enough.
we book a family room for 4 people. The room is big. The bathroom is as big as the room, and supplied 4 people's toiletries, we can have a hot shower after work. Mini bar offers free snacks, cup instant noodles, soft drinks, bottled water, tea bags, and hot water. Air conditioner is cool enough. The facility and interior design are outdated, but I would say it is a very economical option for budget travelers.

為了馬拉松特地找了靠近捷運站的.
這酒店靠近景美捷運站，走路3分鐘就到了，一樓有標牌指示，酒店在三樓.
3樓櫃枱擺設看起來很精緻高級，由於經過攜程預訂，確定身份證後馬上領鑰匙入住了，我住四樓，一出電梯的擺設看起來也不會冷冰冰的，但是氣温度感覺比較悶熱.
電梯樓層要刷卡才能按，房間門鎖是傳統鑰匙型的，入住睡覺或離開房間要注意有沒有反鎖好.
清潔度部分有發現遺留的吸管塑料套，希望這部分可以加強.
房間內部中規中矩，該有的都有，唯一一個問題是電視用遙控器電源開關不行，聯繫櫃枱來檢查還是不行，但是可以手動按背部的電源開啟，我睡覺也不會開着電視睡，不影響，建議酒店要有備用的.
酒店周邊走路3分鐘就有夜市跟便利店，很方便的.
整體來説可以給90分，明年如果還有參加比賽會考慮入住！

Upon check in there are too many staff during our check in in front desk but no one dare to ask for assistance unless you are the one will initiate it, i have been in different hotels before but this kind of service in the front desk is common i just don’t want to address it’s too obvious, they need more training maybe., one guy is very well in speaking in english is the one can show up hospitality the other is i don’t know, the room is narrow but we still find way to make ourselves comfortable since we will be staying for just a night enough to rest. The breakfast is good the staff is very good we understand the language is a little bit complicated but we appreciated the effort to communicate we love them for that they are much more good having interaction with their guest unlike in front desk. The sauna is out of order during our stay so we didn’t feel it’s kinda value for money since most of the facilities is out of service.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. The location is accessible to all kinds of transportations. We not fuzzy and we liked the place. The staffs are friendly. The room was fine. I just want to have a suggestion that you out window grills for safety. I was just surprised that there was no grills in the window room 356. It is not safe. Other than that, our overall stay was great.

I think this hostel is really good. As a Thai person who is used to a handheld bidet, this hostel has it actually, I reeeally love about this. Also the room is really clean and so is the locker. They provide the shoes so we don’t have to bring it by ourselves, I also appreciate about this🥹 the bed is also clean. But the girl toilet is a bit confusing to go, I think if they put the sign outside before reaching to girl toilet, it would be easier to know where exactly the toilet is. However, they have like hair dryer and hair straightener as well. The staffs are friendly as well. Outside of the hostel, there’s a night market nearby, lots of convenient stores and restaurants which is kinda easy to find meals. As a solo traveler, I think this hostel is pretty safe actually. I recommended this hostel for people who travel alone and for girls too.

This is a locally owned hotel and, although rated as a four-star property, it feels more like a three-star international chain hotel. The staff do not greet guests proactively and tend to respond only when spoken to. Even when thanked, they often remain unresponsive, which was rather disappointing.
The hotel has a distinct 1990s vibe which is dated, but equipped with all the basic facilities one might need. Breakfast was quite unappealing, and the coffee was especially disappointing as it was served from a pot rather than freshly ground.
That said, the location is excellent and just a few minutes’ walk from the rail system, with plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby. From a pricing perspective, it’s reasonable value for money, and I wouldn’t mind staying here again, provided expectations are managed accordingly.

Access cards break down easily if they are put near the mobile.
Main switch does not turn off all the lights. One lamp can't be turned off for the whole first night. After complaint, that lamp was fixed. The second night, another lamp malfunctioned. Who bothers to wait for repair at 2 a.m.?

There is no body lotion.
There are only LED spot lights and no ceiling lights. So the room has many dark corners.
Worse, the staff called to remind you 15 to 20 minutes before the official check up time. Are travellers allowed to rest peacefully before check up time? What is the urgency? This is a rare and bad practice.
One thing good: upon request, they gave me tooth brush.
There are varieties of breakfast food and fried eggs upon request.
Also, they fix access cards efficiently. MRT station is near.

PPengguna Tetamu1. Misleading Entrance Signage
Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable.
2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance
When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside?
3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior
After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues.
As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight.
We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of:
- Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance
- Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival
- Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior
We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future.

Kalis bunyi: Kalis bunyi hotel tidak bagus pada mulanya. Kedengaran perbualan keluarga sebelah termasuk ibu dan anak bertengkar. Walaupun boleh difahami, masih pukul 1:30 pagi dan ia sangat mengganggu.

MMJ FERNThe location is super convenient—just a short walk from Taipei Main Station, which made getting around the city and to the airport so easy. I always felt safe even when coming back a bit late, which is a huge plus when you’re traveling alone.
The place itself is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the common areas are nice if you want to relax or meet other travelers. What stood out the most was how accommodating and friendly the staff were—they’re always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or anything you need.
As a female solo traveler, safety and comfort are everything, and Main Inn definitely delivered. It has a welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home while still being budget-friendly.
Highly recommend this place if you’re planning a solo trip to Taipei 💛

Mereka juga menyediakan seterika dan kakitangannya sangat ramah.

Bilik ini menunjukkan usianya, terutamanya cat (banyak tanda/calar, dll.) dan beberapa tompokan lembap di bilik mandi. Terdapat bunyi bising yang berterusan dari saluran pengudaraan atau penghawa dingin di siling, cukup kuat untuk mengganggu tidur. Dan akhirnya, terdapat bau yang mengerikan di dalam bilik... campuran hapak, kelembapan, dan kulat, atau sesuatu seperti itu. Walaupun pengudaraan bilik mandi dan penghawa dingin dalam mod penyahlembapan, bau itu tidak akan hilang. Sudah tentu, sebaik sahaja anda berada di dalam bilik, anda akhirnya berhenti menghidunya, tetapi sebaik sahaja anda keluar, anda membawanya bersama anda... ia meresap ke semua pakaian saya, jadi saya membasuh semuanya selepas saya keluar, walaupun yang bersih... ia benar-benar tidak menyenangkan.
