The staff, service and facilities were excellent this was a very good stay in a beautiful setting. We were most impressed with the hotels generosity and prompt service when we requested anything. The only thing staying here is you have nothing nearby to visit and it’s a long way out of Sanya. So you need to be contempt to stay in the hotel and enjoy what you have. The only criticism we had was the menu had a poor selection and given no western restaurants nearby it meant limited choice. They need to have much more variety on their menu and choice especially for guests like us who stayed there six nights. However we were most impressed with the staff, cleanliness, modern facilities and spacious sea front room being excellent.

We’ve stayed at a lot of IHG hotels and this one misses the mark. From check-in to check out the service was really just almost amiss , the only person who greets you with a friendly face was the housecleaning. A lot of people come here because it’s very kid friendly which it is BUT the overcrowded toys and game machines really brings the whole level and atmosphere of the hotel down. Our stay was not bad but not good either in comparison to a lot of other hotels. We travelled with a baby and booked a crib in advance but upon arriving there was no cor for us to use for the first night.  Breakfast hall feels like a school cafeteria with people pushing ahead of you, this is not the hotels fault but … you get my point. If you want a nice relaxing holiday this is not the right place for you, if you want to keep your keeps busy and go shopping this would be ok for one night , maximum 2. All in all not bad but won’t be returning.

The Banyan Tree Resort Sanya in my personal opinion one of the best holiday resorts I have ever experienced It was absolutely perfect, the resort environment was amazing and the attention to detail was beyond 5 stars. The staff at the hotel were all able to speak in english to me and made my visit very convenient. The front office manager Iris was not only extremely friendly but also absolutely amazing in accommodating everything I asked for in a very prompt and professional manner. The private beach at the resort was amazing with very calm and clean waters making relaxing at this resort devine, the facilities at this resort are immaculate , everything from the restaurant, corridors to perfectly stocked souvenir shop was amazing. The resort is located a 10 minute taxi to the local town we enjoyed water activities such as surfing and diving we participated in and a selection of restaurants for all pallets however the restaurant at the hotel was delicious with a range of western and Chinese food. We choose the wagu burger and pizza and the food tasted exactly as we get back home. I Fully recommend the Banyan Tree Resort Sanya to any westerners looking for a premium resort in Chinas paradise island.

Our family of four stayed at Atlantis Sanya last weekend, and we had such a great time! We've been to Sanya many times before, but this was our first time staying at Atlantis. Now that our kids are a little older, we thought they would finally be able to enjoy the water park and all the activities—and they absolutely loved it. The hotel is huge and has a really fun atmosphere. There are lots of people, but there's also so much to do that it never felt boring. Between the water park, aquarium, and all the family activities, we were always busy. A special thank you to Vivian, who was our guest manager during our stay. She was so kind and helpful from the beginning. She added us on WeChat and sent us all the information we needed about the hotel, activity schedules, and useful tips, which made everything much easier. She speaks excellent Korean and really cared about making sure we had a great stay, and we truly appreciated that. We'll definitely be coming back again. If you're traveling with young kids, I highly recommend Atlantis Sanya. And if Vivian happens to be your guest manager, you'll be in very good hands!

Kudos to Rano for her excellent service and speedy recovery service. The staff at beach bar doesn’t play their role well, telling me that I will get the best view at my seat but there’s mjn spending for it. I paid for it but I don’t get what I deserve. Tons of people that didn’t pay for anything gather once the fireworks shows start and either sitting on the trunk or standing in front of me which completely block my view of the shows. Told the staff and they said they will remove the trunk tomorrow. I’m like huh? Shouldn’t u do it now? So in the end im just sitting there looking at peoples’ back. Told my housekeeper, Rano about it and she did her best to ensure that I don’t have a regretful trip Btw just a suggestion that the staff should be trained to be more professional when doing their job. Most of the staff I met from the restaurant staff, front desk staff, concierge to buggy car driver is either not in their best mood or it’s their way to handle guest by taking in the rude manners or showing black face all the time I would had rate the service 0 if it’s not Rano and one of the housekeeping staff at floor 13 that is very polite and all smiley when asking him for stuff Please convey my compliments to the male housekeeping staff at floor 13 during my stay and to Rano (best of the best) Thank you!

We stayed at the Sheraton during Easter holidays for 3 nights. Miki the manager was very warm, friendly & paid a lot of attention to the small things to make our stay really enjoyable - toys to play in the pool, gifts for the kids whilst departing & always helping out if we needed anything. Pinkey, udyan, Alisha & so many other members made our stay very comfortable as we had dietary restrictions & a lot of the chefs at Feast made sure there was food prepared separately for us & translated where needed. We tried to order a few items on ******* for the kids but couldn’t open the pick up locker & so the staff called customer service and explained and made sure we could access the locker or called where the delivery was on another occasion. I would highly recommend the hotel not only for the rooms but also the staff that made all the difference when we didn’t speak any Chinese.

I had such an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. The location is honestly perfect — everything you need is right there. You can simply walk down to the beach, enjoy water activities, and explore so many restaurants nearby. It’s the kind of place where you never feel isolated because there’s always something happening around you. One of the things I loved most is that the hotel is connected to the Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection. If you’re staying at JW Marriott, you can also enjoy their pools and facilities, which really adds to the whole experience. The hotel itself has so much to offer, especially for families. There are daily kids’ activities, and my son was never bored — there was always something fun planned. The playground is huge and honestly looks futuristic, like something out of a movie. It’s such a dream space for children. They also have a beautiful swimming pool, which makes it even more enjoyable to spend your days there. I also visited Casa Corona Beach Club, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere, the food, and the whole setting made it a really memorable experience. The spa was another highlight — so relaxing and exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind and take care of yourself. On top of that, the service throughout the hotel was incredible. The staff really made everything feel smooth, welcoming, and special. It’s honestly just a great place to be with your family. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with lots of activities, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It truly has everything — location, experiences, and comfort.

KK. Kami menginap pada 17 Oktober 2025. Apabila tiba, kami dinaik taraf ke bilik (dari pemandangan taman kepada pemandangan laut) di tingkat 6. Air panas tersedia tanpa gangguan. Makanannya lazat, dengan banyak pilihan, termasuk masakan kebangsaan. Terdapat pacifier, kentang goreng, ubi keledek, jus, teh, susu, susu soya... banyak pilihan untuk kanak-kanak! Wanita pembersih, nombor 16, sangat baik; dia memastikan semuanya bersih, menawarkan petua berguna dan membantu. Bilik-bilik dibersihkan setiap hari dan menyediakan syampu, perapi, gel mandian, berus gigi, sebotol kecil ubat gigi, sabun dan topi mandi. Bilik kami termasuk selipar, jubah, peti keselamatan, TV dan SKALA! Cerek dengan cawan dan teh, peti sejuk (berfungsi dengan baik), dan tiada penyesuai diperlukan untuk kedai! Terdapat tuala pantai (biru) dan tuala hotel biasa (putih). Tandas boleh dilihat, tetapi terdapat tirai jika itu mengganggu anda. Tab mandi terletak di balkoni (tidak kelihatan dari tingkat satu). Pemandangan sangat cantik. Duduk pada waktu petang, makan atau minum, sememangnya indah! Kolam renang dibuka sehingga 11:00 malam di tingkat satu. Ia selesa, terdapat ikan (untuk kaki anda) berdekatan, air dibersihkan setiap hari, dan daun dibuang. Lif berfungsi dengan baik dan tidak terlalu sesak. Terdapat tempat letak kereta untuk moped (sangat mudah jika anda menyewanya dengan harga 50 yuan/hari). Ia terletak di kawasan yang baik dan selesa. Anda boleh pergi ke mana sahaja anda mahu. Laut dekat, 15 minit berjalan kaki jauhnya. Bas ulang-alik percuma beroperasi dari hotel secara berjadual, tidak perlu menempah. Kami menaikinya sekali untuk merasai cara ia berfungsi, tetapi kami menyedari anda juga boleh berjalan kaki untuk mengenali tempat itu dengan lebih baik dan melihat sesuatu. Terdapat banyak kedai kopi, restoran dan pasar raya (semua orang mempunyai menu dalam bahasa Rusia). Semua penduduk tempatan mengelilingi bandar dengan moped! Trafik sangat sesak! Kami hanya memesan teksi dua kali (melalui DIDI, 60-80 yuan untuk kad PREMIUM) pergi dan balik dari lapangan terbang. Meja penyambut tetamu di tingkat satu boleh membantu anda memesan teksi, menambah nilai akaun Alipay anda (ia diterima di mana-mana, tetapi tidak semua terminal menerima kad daripada Bank Pertanian Rusia), menerima wang tunai, memindahkan wang dan ada yang berbahasa Rusia. Ada yang berbahasa Inggeris. (Secara amnya, semua orang di bandar menggunakan penterjemah, dan ini tidak menjadi masalah.) Terdapat juga wakil agensi pelancongan di kaunter penerimaan tetamu yang boleh mengaturkan perjalanan ke luar bandar. Hotel ini bukan baru, tetapi ia dalam keadaan baik. Kelembapan adalah tinggi, begitu banyak perkara (seperti di bandar) mungkin kelihatan tidak sesuai. Sila ingat itu! Walaupun dengan semua ini dalam fikiran, kami menikmati penginapan kami.

The sea and the beach are beautiful. The furniture of Mountain View Room I had was rather worn out and I think this is the case of all the mountain view rooms; I visited an Ocean View Room and it had new furniture, it’s another standing we ´re talking about. As I can see from the comments of the guests and the hotel staff, there was and I think is still going on a promotion with free upgrading from mountain

Close to the beach and close to the Atlantis water park, but otherwise, far from everything. The facility seemed old. our room's AC was making noise, especially at the night and couldn't sleep well, when we called the service to get it fixed, but later on it was still making noises. The slide in the pool was only for kids :(
