Hotel berhampiran Pusat Emmanuel, London

As soon as we climbed the stairs and entered the room we thought... wow Tony, but it will do. It is just a place to sleep while we explore. Trying to adjust to jetlag, this was NOT comfortable or convenient. No storage, no hooks to hang anything. If you are 6 ft plus and drop the soap in your shower, good luck picking it up. It is the size of a tiny RV shower. Need to pee? Step into another shoebox. My shoulders touched both walls when sitting on the toilet with my knee up against the pipes of the tiny sink. All of this was cute at first. The tiny bed for 2 got old quick. The supplied breakfast was a pile of wonder bread toast delivered by an old Russian lady, with frozen butter that you couldn't spread. Self-serve cereal dispensers that looked 30 years old by the super faded stickers on them. Ate there one day...never again. The coffee machine was the highlight as it kicked out a nice latte or cappuccino. The price for the equivalent quality in the US would have been $45US with better breakfast. Here? $170US. We were here for only 3 days thankfully. The next leg took us to Athens where we stayed in a super luxurious condo for half the daily rate. Apples to oranges maybe, but it made the Dover Hotel experience that much worse in memory.

The hotel has a very nice view if you book a sea view room. The room is spacious as compared to other hotels in London. The staff is helpful. The location is slightly far from the tube station though there is bus station nearby, it is slightly inconvenient to go to the city centre like Piccadilly Circus. It is overlooking the river Thames which has a nice view. You can go to have a walk along the river if it doesn’t rain.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so helpful going above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Great choice of coffee/tea making facilities. The shower was great. When I come back to London I will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Everything is excellent, the location is also very good. This is my second time here. I really liked it. It has all kinds of facilities related to travel and sightseeing.

Location is amazing, right in the centre underground, food, shops all within walking distance. The capsule room itself is clean, mattress comfy, nice lighting and big mirror and sufficient hooks to hang stuff. Room is very quiet and surprisingly blocks out sound so great for a quiet good sleep even in the mornings when people are packing and moving around. Love that they have a fan in the room that is great to keep air circulating but can get a bit hot but lifting the shutter door a few inches helps. Although good hook space not great for someone with more than a backpack as there is no place to put a suitcase near you. Although check out is 10am the cleaners rush and can end up clearing and cleaning your room before you are even ready to check out yet. Check in progress is supposed to be easy but in trying to make things easier they just made more unnecessary steps. Like you can check in online but still have to check in when you arrive? There is security at the door at all times which feels safe as you have to confirm you have a room key before they let you into the building. Shared bathroom is close by to the room, showers are great plenty of hot water, sufficient space to put your stuff and hang stuff, toilets lack hooks and insufficient sink space compared to showers and toilets. No room to place essentials when using the sink and although they try cleaning the shared bathroom is lacking just due to the amount of people having to share that one bathroom. I would say at least 3 rooms have access to that one shared bathroom and each of those big rooms can fit 30+ people if full. Overall for a short overnight trip I would definitely stay again just due to comfort and location.

The location was excellent for the purpose of our trip from Gloucester to London for the Trooping of the Colour. Reception staff and Julia were very welcoming and happy to provide any requests e.g. extra pillows. Continental Breakfast choices were fine. It was lovely to be invited to help ourselves to tea or coffee on arrival, but we would love to have been offered (say) a selection of Danish pastries or similar after the journey, whilst we relaxed and got our bearings. Thank you for making our short stay a good experience and we would stay again when coming to London. Jean Stubley

Buena ubicación, muy cerca de la estación Victoria, en la zona hay muchos comercios. Habitación en un edificio anexo en piso sótano, con un espacio muy reducido. Lo peor fue el olor a cloaca que soportamos durante las cuatro noches de estancia. Confiaba encontrar algo mucho mejor de un hotel de la cadena Best western. Baja relación calidad -precio.

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to rail/coach/tube stations, and local shoos and restaurants. There is the option of breakfast if you like for an extra charge. The staff are welcoming and friendly and reception is manned 24/7. Can also leave your luggage securely after check out if you want to spend the day exploring London. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. This is a Victorian townhouse so corridors and hallways are narrow, but there is a lift to all floors. Really enjoyed staying here and will stay again next time I visit London

The experience was satisfactory overall. There were aspects that met expectations and demonstrated a reasonable level of quality and effort. While there were no particularly outstanding or exceptional features that made it memorable, there were also no major shortcomings that detracted from the experience. It offered a balanced mix of positives and areas where slight improvements could enhance the overall outcome.
