Hotel berhampiran Pantai Naminoue, Naha, Okinawa

Had a packed itinerary on this day so only spent the night and checked out early morning for our flight. As compared to the other hotel rooms in Okinawa, this was the smallest we had for 3 pax - it was very squeezy. The room was clean with a comfy bed and pillows. Even the lighting was dimmable. Charging points available against each bed. TV came with Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video apps for your own login. And quite near to the monorail station - walk for about less than 10mins. Friendly polite staff. They kept our luggage as the check in was strictly at 3pm, while we went shopping at Kokusai. There's a Donki nearby too and 7-Eleven, Family Mart as well.

We arrived at the hotel reception at 8:00 p.m. on May 12 to check in and collect our room key, and we encountered problems we have never experienced before! At first, the check-in procedure only took about 5 minutes for Room 524. However, when we got to our room and opened the door, we realized it was not the room we had booked. This room has two single beds, which is completely different from the double bed room we reserved. We then went back to the reception desk to ask the staff to switch us to a double-bed room. But all three reception staff said they did not have any double-bed rooms. We kept asking further questions. We had booked a double-bed room a week earlier and had already paid all the charges—so why couldn’t they arrange a double-bed room for us? One of the female staff members, who appeared to be of Indian origin, used a translation device to translate into Chinese for us. She pointed out that we had not selected a specific room type, and that guests have no right to choose any room type; we are only allowed to receive whatever room type the hotel assigns. At the same time, she also mentioned that the Room 524 they gave us was much larger than the double-bed room we requested, as if they were offering us an advantage, and that they would not arrange a double-bed room for us. After that, I argued with them multiple times and showed them again and again the confirmation emails and payment emails for our booking. This back-and-forth took more than 45 minutes. During that time, the reception staff treated us very poorly and constantly told us to “wait,” each time requiring us to wait 5–10 minutes before they finally kept talking to me and dragging the process out. Only then did they give us Room 1209. Even so, we still had to take all the luggage that had been placed for Room 524 and move it down to the reception area, and then carry it back up to Room 1209. We finally managed to have dinner only after an hour. Therefore, if you are assessing their service, it should be zero points. I have stayed at the Daiwa Hotel in Kyoto and near Himeji Castle, and I have never encountered this kind of problem. This time, I have completely lost confidence in this hotel group, and I have serious doubts about their integrity. After this, I probably will not book this hotel again. I would really like to understand why the hotel rooms booked through your website have ended up with problems like this. I hope Trip.com can look into it thoroughly, and respond to me within two weeks.

It was our last night at Okinawa and we went back to Hyatt Naha after coming back from Onna. As before, the room was clean and the staff’s dedication can be seen. I had to return my car and they delivered our luggage to room during that time. Happy to spend our last night there.

It only takes one to ruin a stay, but this time two selfish neurotic old Chinese speaking women came into room very late at night making so much noise talking and messing with baggage. Upon mentioning disturbance one old woman got angry. That same woman continued to keep me up until 2.16am messing with zipped baggage in bed and dropping heavy objects on the wood above my bed. Total disregard that it was very late and I believe it to be done with deliberation as it was continued for hours after I complained. Then after check in an african woman let her boyfriend in the women's dorm and stand obstructing doorway talking and coming in room. That said african woman and boyfriend were sitting in women's only powder room for hours. Clearly not respecting boundaries yet no one said anything. African woman put all her stuff in my area of room, which I kept clear, and not near her own bed. A very annoying and disruptive night. Not the hostels fault. Usually everything is peaceful here

ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. Location The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants. Service Issues • Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway. • Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive. Room Quality On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable

I stayed at Hotel Androoms Naha Port on 15 April 2026. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced, and the location is good. However, I had a very bad experience due to the hotel’s parking management. During check-in, I clearly informed the front desk that I had a car and pointed out where I parked (behind the hotel). The staff confirmed that it was the hotel’s parking area. Shortly after going to my room, the same staff knocked on my door and asked me to come down, saying I might have parked in someone else’s lot. Only after calling me down did they then ask for my car plate number, meaning they had not even confirmed whether the car belonged to me before approaching me. It turned out I was directed to park in a private lot. I immediately apologized to the owner and was ready to move my car, but I was told I needed to pay a ¥30,000 penalty. The signage was extremely unclear, poorly lit, and partially blocked, making it impossible to see at night. More importantly, this situation was caused by incorrect information given by the hotel staff. The parking lot owner told me this was the 8th time this has happened with hotel guests, which shows this is an ongoing issue that has not been resolved. The situation remained unresolved for nearly 1 hour. As no agreement was reached, the hotel decided to call the police to handle the matter. After police intervention and discussions with all parties, the hotel eventually paid ¥30,000 to the parking lot owner, and the matter was resolved after almost 2 hours. Despite all this, there was no apology or service recovery, and I was still charged the parking fee. This was a simple issue that could have been prevented with clear signage or proper staff training, but it escalated unnecessarily and caused significant stress on the last night of my trip. Overall, the room is good, but due to this experience, I would not recommend staying here if you are driving.

Review of Japavista Casa De Boss, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. Like this one in Okinawa, I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Japavista Cass De Boss for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Modern Electronics: The villa was equipped with an impressive array of modern electronics, including a Dyson vacuum, air purifier, dehumidifier, Harman Kardon speaker, LG clothing purifier, SodaStream, and a coffee capsule machine, elevating the stay with high-tech convenience. • Spacious Layout: The villa was comfortably spacious, perfectly suited for 4 people for a relaxed group stay. • Clean Environment: The villa was generally very clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. • Free Parking: Convenient free parking right at the ground floor made it easy for us to come and go, especially with a rental car. • Nice View with Balcony: The balcony offered a beautiful view, just as advertised, providing a serene spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. • Basic Cooking Ingredients: The kitchen included essentials like oil, salt, and pepper, which was a thoughtful touch for preparing simple meals. • Private and quiet surroundings: Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Aging and Dirty Sofa: The sofa looked worn and dirty, to the point where I hesitated to sit on it, which detracted from the overall comfort of the living area. • Faulty Stove: The stove frequently beeped due to a lack of gas, making cooking frustrating and disrupting the kitchen experience. • Used Dishwashing Sponge: The dishwashing sponge wasn’t brand new, which felt unhygienic. A fresh sponge should be provided for each new guest to ensure a clean start.

Really solid, near everything i wanted to do. Internet could've been a bit better but it got the job done. Right next to a really good curry spot. Would certainly book again.
