PPengguna TetamuIt only takes one to ruin a stay, but this time two selfish neurotic old Chinese speaking women came into room very late at night making so much noise talking and messing with baggage. Upon mentioning disturbance one old woman got angry. That same woman continued to keep me up until 2.16am messing with zipped baggage in bed and dropping heavy objects on the wood above my bed. Total disregard that it was very late and I believe it to be done with deliberation as it was continued for hours after I complained. Then after check in an african woman let her boyfriend in the women's dorm and stand obstructing doorway talking and coming in room. That said african woman and boyfriend were sitting in women's only powder room for hours. Clearly not respecting boundaries yet no one said anything. African woman put all her stuff in my area of room, which I kept clear, and not near her own bed. A very annoying and disruptive night. Not the hostels fault. Usually everything is peaceful here

LLostWithYanThe hotel is in a great location, close to public transportation and convenience stores, and only about a 10-minute walk from Kokusai Dori. The room was clean, and although daily housekeeping wasn’t provided, amenities were replenished throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great hotel, and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Okinawa.

PPengguna TetamuGood location, it’s a stone’s throw away from the rail station and there are many eateries nearby. Additionally, there is a Family Mart and supermarket below the hotel. Parking charge is reasonably priced at JPY1,500 a day considering it’s at Naha. We had a pleasant stay overall but would be better if the mattress can be harder.

Due to the location and swimming pool, so I picked up Hyatt hotel instead of previous Collective Hotel and JAL. However, the experience is quite bad. When we drove the car and arrived at the hotel, the staff told us the car park was opposite side. Therefore, my husband dropped four luggages , my kid and I handled. My husband also drove to hotel parking area.
We found the staff coming with trolley, we expected him help us to put all luggage on the luggage trolley. However, he dun think he need to help us and just said parking is another opposite side. But,
My husband also left, it is meaningless to tell me again. Then, he used his trolley to help the other Japanese with two luggages only.
Only can say this hotel dun worth to have five stars. Service quality is quite bad.
On 10:30am 22 May, it was a raining day. We back to airport, and husband drove the car to hotel lobby. But it was heavy rain, so I wanna ask the lady in the entrance to borrow umbrella for few seconds , to deliver luggage to car, which may only have 3m distance. The lady refused and called me go back hotel to borrow. I cannot believe this is Hyatt hotel, and will not recommend people to book. Quite bad service on bell boy or front line service on entrance.

YYuyuroseReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them.
At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building.
The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows.
I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~!
I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk.
The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally.
The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also.
Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight.
The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green.
Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. Please note this is my own personal experience and I'm not affiliated or sponsored by ReTime. All photographs are taken by myself during the stay.

We stumbled upon Southwest Grand Hotel due to a last-minute flight change, and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be! Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel.
🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms
The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results!
🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate
The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them!
📍 Prime Location
Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central!
🍽️ Vibrant Evenings
As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience.
💭 Still Dreaming About It
Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!

SSS TravellerWe stayed here with 2 kids age 11 and 13 years old. Location is perfect, right outside the train station, 5 minutes walk to Donki (which has food, groceries, and everything). There is also a hotel carpark (¥1000 yen per day), but if it's full, you can use the public carpark right next to the hotel.
However, there were a few things that could have been better.
1) We requested for an extra blanket but the hotel said they do not have any extra. What kind of hotel does not have extra blankets?!
2) We were informed at check in that they do not do certain type of cleaning every day, for example vacuuming is only every 2-3 days (can't remember the exact details). But we had to request for extra toilet paper and facial tissue because these were not replenished. Understand cleaning isn't done daily but toilet paper should be replenished daily.

GGraceLcmWe arrived almost midnight after a long day, looking forward to a good rest. The room (Deluxe Twin) was okay and comfortable, nothing much to complain about.
However, the service was quite disappointing.
We booked a Deluxe Twin under one name and naturally expected breakfast for two persons. Upon check-in, we were told breakfast was only for one, and we had to top up more than ¥5,000 for the second person. That was quite a surprise.
What made it worse was the receptionist repeatedly making remarks in Japanese mentioning “Singaporean” during the conversation. Even if we didn’t fully understand everything, the tone and body language were uncomfortable and unnecessary.
After a long journey, you really hope for warm hospitality — unfortunately, this was not the experience we had.
Just sharing our experience.

👍 What I liked:
• Modern Electronics: The villa was equipped with an impressive array of modern electronics, including a Dyson vacuum, air purifier, dehumidifier, Harman Kardon speaker, LG clothing purifier, SodaStream, and a coffee capsule machine, elevating the stay with high-tech convenience.
• Spacious Layout: The villa was comfortably spacious, perfectly suited for 4 people for a relaxed group stay.
• Clean Environment: The villa was generally very clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay.
• Free Parking: Convenient free parking right at the ground floor made it easy for us to come and go, especially with a rental car.
• Nice View with Balcony: The balcony offered a beautiful view, just as advertised, providing a serene spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
• Basic Cooking Ingredients: The kitchen included essentials like oil, salt, and pepper, which was a thoughtful touch for preparing simple meals.
• Private and quiet surroundings: Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests.

• Aging and Dirty Sofa: The sofa looked worn and dirty, to the point where I hesitated to sit on it, which detracted from the overall comfort of the living area.
• Faulty Stove: The stove frequently beeped due to a lack of gas, making cooking frustrating and disrupting the kitchen experience.
• Used Dishwashing Sponge: The dishwashing sponge wasn’t brand new, which felt unhygienic. A fresh sponge should be provided for each new guest to ensure a clean start.
