"Amazing hotel with affordable price, delicious breakfast and perfect location. We spend 5 gorgeous days in this hotel. The staff was really polite and helpful. There are some nice places around such as walking shopping street with incredible brûlée donuts, ramen just 2 min walk . Subway line just in front of the hotel Thanks for the great time 🩷"

"It is equivalent to a hotel in Taipei's Xinyi District—you can go shopping right after walking outside. The lobby is beautiful with a Japanese style, and they offer self-service check-in. The large public bath on the 1st floor has a water dispenser and ice cubes available. The room is not big, but the space is utilized very well. At 5,500 TWD per night during the cherry blossom season, it is a great value!"

"The staffs are warm and friendly. The hotel overall look nice and cosy. Its near to many bus stops and restaurants. The window panel is dusty, chuck of dust fell onto the bed. 1 of the 3 beds are spoiled, the cotton is flat, am laying down know the bed frame."

"Hotel looks nice exterior wise, interior wise is good as well. Hotel has amenities like microwaves, water dispenser, washing machine, dryer, smoking room. Receptionist was helpful, able to store luggage at the hotel lobby, they provide bicycle locks to secure your luggage. Rooms were clean, toilet was clean. Toothbrush, comb, cotton buds, towels are self service, bring from the table downstairs to your room. Bed and pillows are good. Rooms were a bit tight but had barely enough space for 2 medium size luggages. Rather accessible location, convinience stores about 5 min walk from the hotel, local shopping street nearby about 7 min walk. Couple train stations nearby as well. Good value for price. The one downside is the windows can't be opened. Overall, happy with the stay, would come back again."

"Excellent hotel. Very conveniently located, close to two metro stations, the castle, plenty of coffee shops, bars, and a wonderful shopping street. Around the corner is a 24-hour diner with reasonable prices. There's an automatic bike rental station at the hotel entrance (cashless payments only). The hotel provides toothbrushes, combs, disposable razors, and tea. Public microwaves are available on three floors. The room includes a kettle, mini-fridge, slippers, robes, and shower essentials. Comfortable mattresses and orthopedic pillows are available. An iron is available free of charge. Laundry is available for an additional fee. If you don't smoke and can't stand the smell of nicotine, don't book a smoking room; there's a slight nicotine odor."

"I had a great stay at this hotel, especially as a manga fan. The room was clean, and I received fresh towels every day. Amenities such as toiletries could be picked up from the reception area, which was very convenient. The hotel also provides complimentary drinks 24/7, including water, coffee, and tea. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with buses that go straight to Kyoto Station, and the nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk away. The famous Nishiki Market is around a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel and a supermarket within a short walking distance, making it very easy to grab snacks, drinks, or anything else you might need. Popular attractions such as Nijō Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace are also within walking distance. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto."

"The hotel is very good, quiet, super clean! Rooms are spacious compared to other rooms we had in Japan, service is excellent and beds very comfortable. I totally recommend this place for staying in Kyoto! To reach hotel you need only 20 min by bus from Kyoto station, and bus stop is 1 min from hotel, which is very convenient. The only downside for us personally was that getting to most of the historical sites required taking public transport, whether by bus or subway. In Kyoto, buses are often extremely crowded, traffic can be heavy, and the waiting times can be quite long. Next time I visit Kyoto, I would probably rely more on taxis to avoid wasting too much time on public transportation."
