Absolute perfection (with two tiny wishes) – A solid 10/10 Everything about this hotel is simply wonderful. The staff are delightful, the service is fast, and the rooms are beautiful, modern, and spotless. But the real showstopper? The breathtaking views from the room. I do want to highlight two specific things that made our stay so comfortable: 1. The hotel app. It’s incredibly convenient, works flawlessly, and puts everything you need right at your fingertips. 2. The location. You’re just a 3-minute buggy ride from the main street where you’ll find 7/11, great restaurants, tour desks, and massage parlours. Since taxi services in the region are notoriously bad, this amazing location is a huge plus. Now, if I really have to nitpick (and I mean really), there are two small downsides: · The hair conditioner in the room has a very strange consistency and isn't good quality. · The hotel is not adults-only. This is a true romantic getaway, and the last thing you want to hear is children screaming. I’d suggest leaving the nearby Sands hotel for families and making The Little Shore adults-only. That would make it absolutely perfect. Despite that, this is only the third time in my life I’m giving a hotel a 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the resort on June 7th is my birthday and was truly impressed by every aspect of my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine smiles and exceptional hospitality. The security guard kindly helped me with information about a pharmacy, which I greatly appreciated. During check-in, the lovely lady with long hair provided a warm welcome, while the lobby staff gave clear and comprehensive information about the resort.     A special thank you to Prem, who explained everything so well and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. I would also like to recognize the bellman (a gentleman whose name I unfortunately cannot remember) who was always smiling, friendly, and incredibly polite.     The food was excellent, and the restaurant staff were wonderful at recommending menu items. The dinner experience was made even more memorable by the impressive fire show in the evening. Both swimming pools were absolutely beautiful and added to the relaxing atmosphere of the resort.        I was genuinely impressed by everything and my only regret is that I booked just one night. I wish I could have stayed longer! Without a doubt, I will be returning in the future and look forward to experiencing your wonderful hospitality again. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable.

The Ultimate Beachfront Escape. ”The location is unbeatable, situated right on the beautiful Memories Beach. It’s an absolute dream for outdoor enthusiasts—I spent my days surfing, running along the shore, and chilling by the pool. I also loved that I didn’t have to leave the property for good food; having Thai, Italian, and a cute coffee shop on-site was so convenient. Above all, the staff were so welcoming and provided world-class hospitality. Highly recommend!”

Location location! Fantastic. Bungalow on the beach was just lovely. Beautiful beach and private beach. My only constructive criticism being some parts of the resort and bungalows are a little tired. Our bungalow had plastic sheeting on the roof and signs of a leaking roof. Musty smell in the bungalow. Fantastic bathroom and shower. Some extra storage on the beach area would tidy the area up.

Our stay at the Marriott Resort was truly enjoyable. Spending five days there felt like pure relaxation from start to finish. The staff were consistently very kind, friendly, and attentive, which made us feel welcome at all times. We particularly enjoyed the gym facilities. The only small thing we missed was a dedicated room for yoga or a bit more open space within the gym for personal workouts. However, this was not a major issue, as the gym was not overly busy and it was easy to improvise when needed. Overall, everything else was excellent and met our expectations fully. The atmosphere, service, and comfort made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely return to this resort and gladly recommend it to others.

Отель расположен в 7 минутах ходьбы от пляжа. Мне понравилось ходить на пляж Nang Thong по грунтовой дороге через территорию заброшенного отеля через лес. Там вы увидите кур с цыплятами и петухов, коров и кокосовые пальмы. Завтраки однообразны. Номера большие и просторные. Есть на чём сидеть - в номере два кресла из ротанга, два стула и табурет, что редкость для Таиланда. Большой телевизор на котором можно смотреть свои фильмы с USB носителя. Горячая вода есть! Мне всё понравилось.

Nestled along a pristine stretch of beach, the resort blends traditional Thai charm with modern luxury in the most seamless way. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed with local accents, and opened directly onto the lagoon pool—yes, the 2.5 km-long pool that winds through the entire resort like a lazy river. Waking up and diving straight into the water was a dream. The staff were exceptional—always smiling, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant teams, everyone made us feel like VIPs. Dining was a highlight. From the beachfront seafood BBQ at The Waterfront to the authentic Thai flavors at Ta-Krai, every meal was a delight. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and ambiance made it worthwhile. We also loved the little touches: the JW Garden where herbs are grown for the kitchen, the serene Quan Spa, and the family-friendly amenities like the kids’ pool and activities. Evenings were magical, with golden sunsets and live music by the beach. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with world-class service and a touch of Thai soul, JW Marriott Khao Lak is a top-tier choice. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return.

The Hotel is cozy & the concept is cultural. But, 1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up. 2. Overall breakfast was good. 3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System. Above is not complain, is just my comments. Thanks

The location is very closely to the beach side ok. It is recommended for all travelers. The staff is nice and friendly, also having the service mind.

It has everything: direct beach access, a picturesque stream, and even a lake. The rooms are very clean, modern, and truly meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe. Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries. Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht. The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht). Overall, Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is a perfect choice for those looking to relax in harmony with nature while enjoying comfort and quality service. Highly recommended!
