These are simply my honest thoughts after spending 9 nights at this hotel. Originally, we only booked 4 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay to 9 nights. That alone says everything. This hotel honestly felt like home. The biggest reason was the staff. From the bell staff, front desk team, housekeeping, and restaurant staff—everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Every day we were greeted with genuine smiles, and they made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. If I could give more than 5 stars for the service, I absolutely would. They deserve 10 stars. The room was spotless. The towels smelled fresh, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the bedding felt clean every night, and the bathroom was always immaculate. After staying at another hotel before coming here, I really appreciated how clean everything was. It made a huge difference. The food was another surprise. I almost skipped eating at the hotel because I saw the restaurant only had a 3.9 rating, and honestly, that rating doesn’t reflect my experience at all. Breakfast was excellent every single morning. We also had dinner at the hotel several times, and every meal was delicious. Yes, the prices are a little higher than some local restaurants, but not by much, and the quality easily justifies the price. Another thing I really loved was the gym. It’s equipped with Technogym machines, which are among the best fitness equipment brands available. The gym was clean, modern, well maintained, and had everything I needed to continue my workouts during the trip. It was a big bonus for me. Even though the hotel had plenty of guests, it never felt crowded. We never had to fight for sun loungers by the pool, never had trouble finding space to swim, and never had to wait for a table at breakfast. The hotel clearly knows how to manage a full house while still making guests feel relaxed and comfortable. If I ever come back to Khao Lak, I won’t even look for another hotel. I’ll stay here again without hesitation. Thank you to every member of the team for making our stay so memorable. My stay at Moracea by Khao Lak Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. The staff went above and beyond throughout my entire stay—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything I needed. Their kindness truly made the experience unforgettable. The location is absolutely stunning. Nestled right by the beach, the views are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether it was watching the sunset or simply enjoying the sound of the ocean, every moment felt special. The facilities are outstanding and beautifully maintained. From the pools to the rooms and all the shared spaces, everything is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious yet welcoming environment. And the food—simply incredible. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. There was a great variety of options, and everything I tried exceeded expectations. I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about my stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We (wife, myself and 8 year old son) stayed end of March 2026. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and placed us in a nice room with King size bed and knew us by name. The bedroom had an ocean view + balcony and comfortable bed that fit all 3 of us. We arrived on a Tuesday when they do a weekly firedance. We really enjoyed the infinity pool at sunset where the pool met the ocean and sky. The staff was willing to drive us by golf cart between the 2 sides of the resort to be able to access the whole resort easily. The restaurant food was tasty as well but only complaint was that it was Italian food and we were in Thailand and wanted to eat Thai food. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful with an array of options for everyone and it changed a bit every day we were there (5 nights). For us, the location was not ideal, as you have to take a taxi to get to the town or restaurants and we ended up finding a couple spots we could walk to near the resort (Memories Beach next door) and a small restaurant walking distance. We were delighted to find that there is an Elephant Sanctuary next door to Aspara, walking distance and visiting the elephants was an amazing experience (1000 THB for 3 people and food/milk to feed the elephants). We did a day snorkel trip to Surin National Park and the location was accessible for the pickup to the port. I was unable to use Grab for food or ride service and when we did use taxi, we used the hotel taxi service, which was a bit more expensive than I wanted. The ride to the airport was 2,500 THB for the 3 of us and our bags arranged by hotel. It was nice knowing that the taxi would be there and it was a private ride with AC and plenty of room. There is a river that divides the two sides of the resort and it passes in front of the hotel into the ocean. We were advised not to swim in the river, so we were a bit concerned when crossing it or to swim in the water that is poured into, but we did swim in the water in front of the Memories Beach just adjacent to Aspara. I would recommend Aspara particularly to folks looking for quiet, and prefer to be away from hustle and bustle of city and who don't mind taking a Tuk Tuk to places they want to visit. Great place to go to if you don't want to leave the resort. I would have preferred to be closer to more restaurants (walking distance) but otherwise, the staff, the grounds, the breakfast, everyone was amazing. Enjoy the photos. MN

We had a truly peaceful and wonderful stay at your hotel. We are very satisfied with the service — the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful to our family. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us. The service standards were truly at a high level, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. Unfortunately, because my daughter was not feeling well, we were not able to fully enjoy all of the facilities this time. Отель расположен в 7 минутах ходьбы от пляжа. Мне понравилось ходить на пляж Nang Thong по грунтовой дороге через территорию заброшенного отеля через лес. Там вы увидите кур с цыплятами и петухов, коров и кокосовые пальмы. Завтраки однообразны. Номера большие и просторные. Есть на чём сидеть - в номере два кресла из ротанга, два стула и табурет, что редкость для Таиланда. Большой телевизор на котором можно смотреть свои фильмы с USB носителя. Горячая вода есть! Мне всё понравилось.

The room was nice, especially because of how comfortable the bed was. The pool is spacious and has beautiful oceanfront views. As for the breakfast, while there is a wide variety, protein options are limited, with few meats, curries or stews .The machine coffee at the entrance tasted horrible, the coffee was watery, had no crema and lacked any aroma.

Our stay at Le Méridien Khao Lak was absolutely wonderful and perfect for a family getaway. We traveled with our two year old twins, and the resort could not have been better suited for families with young children. The entire property is beautiful, spacious, and incredibly well maintained. There are so many pools to choose from that it never felt crowded, and there was always something for everyone to enjoy. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of the highlights for our children was the playroom. It was a great escape during the hottest hours of the day, and they absolutely loved spending time there. The atmosphere throughout the resort was warm, welcoming, and very family friendly. Whether you want to relax, swim, enjoy the beach, or keep the kids entertained, this resort really offers everything. We would absolutely come back and can highly recommend Le Méridien Khao Lak for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Thailand.

The Hotel is cozy & the concept is cultural. But, 1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up. 2. Overall breakfast was good. 3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System. Above is not complain, is just my comments. Thanks

The location is very closely to the beach side ok. It is recommended for all travelers. The staff is nice and friendly, also having the service mind.

It has everything: direct beach access, a picturesque stream, and even a lake. The rooms are very clean, modern, and truly meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe. Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries. Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht. The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht). Overall, Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is a perfect choice for those looking to relax in harmony with nature while enjoying comfort and quality service. Highly recommended!
