LLalla LatifaFrom the moment you step into this hotel everything is amazing. The pool, the breakfast, the surroundings and ofcourse the beach. The staff is realy nice and you feel well taken care of. In case of doubt, book this resort!

MMyrkStyrWe (wife, myself and 8 year old son) stayed end of March 2026. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and placed us in a nice room with King size bed and knew us by name. The bedroom had an ocean view + balcony and comfortable bed that fit all 3 of us. We arrived on a Tuesday when they do a weekly firedance. We really enjoyed the infinity pool at sunset where the pool met the ocean and sky. The staff was willing to drive us by golf cart between the 2 sides of the resort to be able to access the whole resort easily. The restaurant food was tasty as well but only complaint was that it was Italian food and we were in Thailand and wanted to eat Thai food. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful with an array of options for everyone and it changed a bit every day we were there (5 nights). For us, the location was not ideal, as you have to take a taxi to get to the town or restaurants and we ended up finding a couple spots we could walk to near the resort (Memories Beach next door) and a small restaurant walking distance. We were delighted to find that there is an Elephant Sanctuary next door to Aspara, walking distance and visiting the elephants was an amazing experience (1000 THB for 3 people and food/milk to feed the elephants). We did a day snorkel trip to Surin National Park and the location was accessible for the pickup to the port. I was unable to use Grab for food or ride service and when we did use taxi, we used the hotel taxi service, which was a bit more expensive than I wanted. The ride to the airport was 2,500 THB for the 3 of us and our bags arranged by hotel. It was nice knowing that the taxi would be there and it was a private ride with AC and plenty of room. There is a river that divides the two sides of the resort and it passes in front of the hotel into the ocean. We were advised not to swim in the river, so we were a bit concerned when crossing it or to swim in the water that is poured into, but we did swim in the water in front of the Memories Beach just adjacent to Aspara. I would recommend Aspara particularly to folks looking for quiet, and prefer to be away from hustle and bustle of city and who don't mind taking a Tuk Tuk to places they want to visit. Great place to go to if you don't want to leave the resort. I would have preferred to be closer to more restaurants (walking distance) but otherwise, the staff, the grounds, the breakfast, everyone was amazing. Enjoy the photos.

PPlum31Moracea has a really good location on one of the most picturesque resort beaches in Khao Lak. The rooms are decent, though the resort may be starting to show its age a bit. The only issue we had with our rooms were truly poor pillow quality. We ended up swapping to the lounger pillows and throwing the cases on them instead.
The resort seems to have handled the issue many other reviewers mention about people booking sun loungers way in advance and leaving them ”vacant” for hours. If you're out around 7-9am, you ought to find a nice seat by the beach. Even later would still work.
We had some terrific service in general at Moracea. Staff seemed hospitable and friendly, even by Thai standards. We did feel that restaurants and bars could certainly be improved in general, but not at all related to the staff. The food quality for dinner/lunch was really bland, and we opted to eat out every meal aside from a nice breakfast (which had plenty of variety for our tastes).
We would certainly book again.

ทางเข้าก็แคบ น้ำท่วมอีก แต่พอเข้าไปในโรงแรมแล้วคือคนละโลกเลย มันใจฟูทึกจุด เงียบ สงบ มาก ห้องกว้างมากๆ สะอาดมากๆ อุปกรณ์ครบครัน มีขนมต้อนรับในห้องด้วย อุปกรณ์ในห้องน้ำว้าวมาก ดีทุกจุดทุกมุม พยักงานต้อนรับน่ารักมากๆ พี่เบลน่ารักใจดีมากๆค่ะ อาหารเช้าเยอะ อร่อย แดดสวย ไว้จะไปอีกแน่นอนคาะ

From the moment we arrived at JW Marriott Khao Lak, we were swept into a world of tropical elegance and warm hospitality. Nestled along a pristine stretch of beach, the resort blends traditional Thai charm with modern luxury in the most seamless way.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed with local accents, and opened directly onto the lagoon pool—yes, the 2.5 km-long pool that winds through the entire resort like a lazy river. Waking up and diving straight into the water was a dream.
The staff were exceptional—always smiling, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant teams, everyone made us feel like VIPs.
Dining was a highlight. From the beachfront seafood BBQ at The Waterfront to the authentic Thai flavors at Ta-Krai, every meal was a delight. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and ambiance made it worthwhile.
We also loved the little touches: the JW Garden where herbs are grown for the kitchen, the serene Quan Spa, and the family-friendly amenities like the kids’ pool and activities. Evenings were magical, with golden sunsets and live music by the beach.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with world-class service and a touch of Thai soul, JW Marriott Khao Lak is a top-tier choice. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return.

Там вы увидите кур с цыплятами и петухов, коров и кокосовые пальмы. Завтраки однообразны. Номера большие и просторные. Есть на чём сидеть - в номере два кресла из ротанга, два стула и табурет, что редкость для Таиланда. Большой телевизор на котором можно смотреть свои фильмы с USB носителя. Горячая вода есть!
Мне всё понравилось.

NNopastNofutureOur stay at Le Méridien Khao Lak was absolutely wonderful and perfect for a family getaway. We traveled with our two year old twins, and the resort could not have been better suited for families with young children.
The entire property is beautiful, spacious, and incredibly well maintained. There are so many pools to choose from that it never felt crowded, and there was always something for everyone to enjoy. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day.
One of the highlights for our children was the playroom. It was a great escape during the hottest hours of the day, and they absolutely loved spending time there.
The atmosphere throughout the resort was warm, welcoming, and very family friendly. Whether you want to relax, swim, enjoy the beach, or keep the kids entertained, this resort really offers everything.
We would absolutely come back and can highly recommend Le Méridien Khao Lak for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Thailand.

BBeh.T.WThe Hotel is cozy & the concept is cultural.
But,
1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up.
2. Overall breakfast was good.
3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System.
Above is not complain, is just my comments.
