The service was excellent, but the dust on the furniture, even though it was cleaned daily, was impossible to miss. Whether it was the air conditioning vent, lamp shades, or racks, everything was terribly dusty."

"Wonderful place and breathtaking view, shame about the terrible welcome and treatment. As soon as I arrived with my family, I didn't even have time to put our things in the room before the owner asked us for an 'instant bank transfer' as if we wanted to escape without paying. There is little respect for the privacy of the guests, I was using the bathroom and without knocking the owner comes into the room to clean, scared I shout to him that the bathroom was occupied and in response, instead of apologizing, I hear him shouting 'my goodness oh'. Be careful, they have a large dog that they don't keep in the pen, which can create problems for you and your dog if you take him on holiday. We always felt looked after, exactly as I read before in another review. The net was never passed in the swimming pool. Unpleasant experience not to be repeated."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Agriturismo Deviscio. We had 2 rooms with shared with our adult boys and stayed for 3 nights during our 2 week stay in Northern Italy. We visited during the Italian Grand Prix and found Agostino's place so pleasant and away from the craziness of Milan and the race. Agostino and his family were so helpful in directions and advice on how to get in and out of Monza easily. The rooms are beautiful and the view, breathtaking. If possible stay on a Saturday and enjoy their apertivos with generous samples of the goat milk products, wine, beer and assorted meats. The breakfast provided every morning was plentiful and delicious. We felt so relaxed and comfortable here. It is such a peaceful oasis but so easy to access the lake region and so many local hikes. We would love to return again someday."

"Since my first visit in 2018, I always stay at Hotel Don Abbondio when I am working near Lecco. Staying here is akin to receiving an enormous hug! The hotel is family run and, as such, you will receive a welcome as though you are part of the family! Giuseppina greets you with a smile and will stop whatever she is doing, pop on a jacket and help you find a place to park. It is street parking but not more than a 2 minute walk. Luciano is an absolute gentleman and, if you ask, will perform a concert for you in the lobby. Luciano is an organist and an excellent one at that. The hotel is old style; expect a personal welcome as opposed to a generic check-in, expect classic functional rooms with everything you need and know that you will leave Hotel Don Abbondio with memories and stories to tell. Luciano and Giuseppina are charismatic, endearing and will do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are rooms with balconies, restaurants and supermarkets nearby and the lake is waiting for you outside the front door. Seriously, an absolute gem. If you visit Lecco, stay here."
