"Gateways Inn is charming but be aware that like most BnBs in the Berkshires, it is old. The heating pipes are loud at night. I think our bed may have been broken. The Keurig was hard to use, but I find that true in most hotels. The in-room fireplace is very nice in winter. The staff was very friendly."

"5/5 Stars – Incredible Customer Service by Samantha at Element Lenox Berkshires! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Element by Marriott Lenox Berkshires, and it is all thanks to Samantha at the front desk! We arrived well before the standard check-in time after a very long, exhausting journey. Our two young children were completely worn out and desperately needed to rest.Instead of making us wait, Samantha completely stepped up and demonstrated excellent customer service. She immediately expedited our room availability and even upgraded us to a beautiful room with a kitchenette! Having that extra space and the Element kitchenette setup made traveling with small kids infinitely easier.The room itself was awesome—clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. A massive thank you and a huge shout-out to Samantha for going above and beyond to turn our stressful travel day into a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back to this property!"

"I did not know what to expect in an old motel refitted with all the corporate standard furniture and decor. Mattress was way to soft, no support, two of the lampshades had mold on them, there was more dust than expected in a Wyndham room. Frayed around the edges, but at core it was a good room at a good price and we would stay there again."

"We enjoyed out stay from check in to check out. Our room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave along with a coffee station. The bathroom was large and the shower was perfect. We enjoyed the happy hour and the bartender brought out freshly cooked banana cookies for my husband. Breakfast was different than your average hotel selection. They had a cook there to make Avocado toast and scrambled eggs as well as fresh baked pastries. Overall we would return to this hotel whenever we are in the area. It is very close to the small town and the other things the Berkshires have to offer."

"We had stayed at the Constance Inn before it became the Hideaway Inn and loved it. Sadly it’s not the same Inn! We were told in a confirmation email from the Hideaway that there would be a continental breakfast. There wasn’t. We were given the wrong room initially and switched to another room but never given a new entry code although we tried to contact staff multiple times through text and phone. Trash was left in common areas for days. Much of the furniture was uncomfortable to sit on. The place felt generally uncared for. And what was most infuriating has been seeing all the fake five star reviews posted on various sites. Staying at the Hideaway Inn was the worst part of our 2-week vacation. And that’s saying a lot because the East Coast was experiencing an extreme heat wave when we visited."

"We spent a couple of nights at the Hampton Terrace Inn. This was our second visit and we were happy to see that the Inn is as lovely as it ever was. It is in a great location -- very walkable to shops and restaurants. The outdoor pool is lovely - a great way to relax afteer a drive or a day exploring. We stayed in the Pearl Davis suite which has a nice porch and is right by the pool. Breakfast was great -- good chef ! We will definitely return!"

"Stayed one night at 33 Main while on a MA Fall foliage driving tour this fall. The Inn is located downtown Lenox with all shops and restaurants within walking distance. The owner is an interior designer so the property is well appointed with beautiful fabrics and artwork. Rooms are small but comfortable. Given other options in the area, the property is overpriced for the space and service delivered."
