The Resting Place

"My two college age kids and I stayed at the hotel on our way from Berlin to Aachen. The small peaceful village location was a welcomed break from the larger cities we visited earlier on our trip. As for the recently updated accommodations, they were very clean, comfortable and filled with natural light. Some of the rooms had cozy balconies overlooking the beautiful gardens. Dinner and breakfast were delicious too and the staff/ownership were very attentive and approachable. The game room was a nice surprise as well. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"An unpleasant smell persists as soon as the front door is opened, smell of mold, musty. This continues in 2 of the 4 rooms reserved, very strong smell of rising sewer at the sink/shower, and absence of shower screen for one of the 4 rooms. Too bad, the place is easy to access, the equipment for the common kitchen seems good and efficient. A BIG effort to make regarding the smell!!! An unpleasant smell persists as soon as the front door is opened, a musty, moldy odor. This continues in 2 of the 4 rooms booked, with a very strong smell of rising sewage in the washbasin/shower area, and the absence of a shower screen in one of the 4 rooms. Too bad, the place is easy to get to, the shared kitchen facilities seem good and efficient. BIG effort to be made in terms of odor!!! Ein unangenehmer Geruch hält sich hartnäckig, sobald man die Eingangstür öffnet, Schimmelgeruch, muffig. Dies setzt sich in 2 der 4 gebuchten Zimmer fort, sehr starker Geruch nach Abwasser im Bereich des Waschbeckens/Dusche und keine Duschwand für eines der 4 Zimmer. Schade, der Ort ist leicht zu erreichen, die Ausstattung der Gemeinschaftsküche scheint gut und leistungsfähig zu sein. BIG Anstrengungen müssen unternommen werden, um den Geruch zu reduzieren!"

"It was four days in Bad Meinberg at Hotel Lammers. I can only report positive. The bed is super having very well sleeped, everything clean, everything very friendly and helpful, you can sit well in the TV and living room and take drinks against a small cost contribution. The wellness area is great and can be used at any time. Come back safely."

"Well, hotel as mentioned earlier, very in the years. Rooms have already been a little muffy. Breakfast was enough, but does not match price performance. The buffet is also very simple but sufficient. Alcohol drinks are expensive, but it's very expensive. The sauna is only available at 50 degrees. Room service is available on request, but we have not used it. Hotel is in general OK, but pricely overloaded!"
