"I brought everything I needed except underwear, so the service in the hotel and the attitude of the staff were excellent. To be a little splurge-worthy, I wish the restaurant menu had more small portions. Snacks and rice dishes, perhaps. I'd like to stay here again and again."

"Far far far from city centre, where all the tourist sights are. Cost me around 400 yen one way to Shinjuku station, which is about 1.5 hours' ride away with 3 train changes. Front desk staff mostly don't speak a word of English & communication was awkward for me few days' stay. I was made to read pages of instructions when checking-in & it was annoying. The attitude of the male staff doesn't help to make it any easier. That said, the area itself is quite lively & with many food options. Good if you want to explore somewhere outside of central Tokyo. Room was small but manageable until they transfer me to a even more tiny room upon my extension. I extended 2 more night with the properly directly as none are available on the booking platforms. Apparently it was a Japanese public holiday. I cramped myself into a space that I can't even open my medium size luggage for 2 nights & has to do my packing outside my room at the common corridor. That room is not meant for human in my opinion, more for Mickey Mouse. Although hotel & room is well maintained & clean & was cheaper than others when I first booked, I'll rather not return.for the location as I've to spend more time & money on transport."

The local staff did everything they could to accommodate my selfish request for the room, which was very helpful even though it was a last-minute request. Although I couldn't take a bath, there is also a hot spring, so I would definitely like to use it next time."
