"Amazing place. The rooms were very clean, and the entire hotel had amazing photo opportunities. You can even go on the roof and have tea up there! We ended up using mainly the pool, go tables, and the upstairs tea setup, and breakfast. Surprisingly few of the visitors were using the facilities, which I guess makes sense, since everyone is out exploring Leshan. I should note that you cannot get directly to the hotel. You have to walk a little bit from the Leshan Buddha museum, or take the hotel's very convenient shuttle."

"The hotel is absolutely great. Beautiful view from window, all this nice rooftop, rooms are clean and have everything you might need. The area is amazing - a lot of different cafe, shops and restaurants. Workers in the hotel very nice and helpful, really enjoyed talking to them. 10/10, when I come to Leshan next time, I’m definitely staying at this place once more"

"I book bcos i saw the jet tub, but to my disappointment it is only a normal tub. Jet is not working. The room is clean . The reception is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Plus point. Always ready to help happily. The funny thing is, the Didi always stopped either away from the stay or on the main road is ok if I don't have luggagebut with luggage it is really inconvenient for me. Fortunately, the girls came to help. Very close to the train station. ."

"This review is extremely late. Apologies to the incredible staff. STAFF APPRECIATION: I was cared for this time by Xiao-Ya, Xiao-Li, the driver Master Bao and Ms. Xu in the restaurant. Due to the nature of my work, when I travel it is always late at night. Even though it was after 9pm when I arrived, I was still picked up at the railway station and taken safely to the hotel. Not only was I kindly received when I arrived, but my room had also been upgraded for free to the Cloud Room. The next day I started out early in order to see as much of the area as I could. I had many questions about where to go, how to get there, and how to purchase tickets and the staff answered them promptly and completely even including screenshots and step-by-step directions. They also offered transportation to and from one of the sites and helped me at the ticket office. I cannot stress how kind, warm, professional, and patient everyone was with me especially with my limited Chinese and I appreciate it so, so much. HOTEL REVIEW: Quite by happy coincidence, this is the second Solo Wandering Hotel I have stayed at and I will now actively seek them out when I travel. They are the whole package and given the price and the many hotel options, that is something I seek out. However, the Wandering franchise truly takes it to another level. From the staff to the location to the rooms, everything has the feel of restful retreat with every need catered to. As with the last location, this hotel is also super conveniently located: just steps or a quick golf cart ride away from the major attractions I’d come to see such as the Great Buddha and temples and the cruise ship. The views are indescribable, the location quiet and serene a welcome respite from city light and noise pollution. On my arrival I was greeted with warm milk and snacks before bed. The minibar was among the best stocked I have ever seen. They also sold wine, which I treated myself to as well, given it has been difficult for me to find that particular brand and type of wine where I live. After returning home, I wish I’d purchased more! The room truly gave one the feeling of walking and sleeping amongst the clouds, like something out of a costume drama. Unfortunately, I came late and was unable to use the outdoor pool. Maybe next time!! The only drawback was that there were a few bugs inside, but that comes with being right in the middle of nature and having the doors and windows open. I was advised to keep them closed for this reason and insect repellant was also offered. I slept quite well and had no insect bites when I left. ^_^ Quite possibly my favorite part of my stay was the dining. I am a foodie and definitely judge a place by what they offer and how it appeals to my senses. Teatime here is a MUST if you have the time. I indulged after walking around all day and before checking out and departing for home (I was graciously offered an extended checkout when I was late returning from one tour). It was the perfect afternoon refresher. The appearance, scent, flavor, taste, and temperature were all perfect. I was alone and couldn’t finish everything and it really felt like such a waste. After check-out, I received a gift bag with tasty local snacks. TLDR; Staff goes above and beyond regardless of the hour. They are a great resource for information about the local sites. The location is quiet, picturesque, and conveniently located. The amenities are top of their class. 10/10 recommend."

"We had a perfect stay at the Emmy Mountain Hot Spring Hotel. Everything was great — the hot spring facilities were excellent, and our child really enjoyed them. The whole family had a very comfortable and relaxing experience. What made our stay truly special was the incredible hospitality. A special mention to one of the managers, Wan Li, who went far above and beyond her duty. She helped us with translation, gave us great advice on places to visit around Emei Mountain and Leshan, and made sure we felt completely at ease throughout our trip. Her kindness and support made a real difference for our family. Thank you to Wan Li and the entire hotel team. Everything was just right — we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area."

"This is honestly one of the most comfortable and enjoyable hotels we ever stayed in China. The photos simply don’t do it justice—the VIEWS, bed, and atmosphere are far more stunning in person. We booked the two largest river-view rooms on the 10th floor, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. At night, the river lights create a peaceful and magical view that is hard to describe. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and each room had its own bathtub with an incredible view. Relaxing in the tub while overlooking the river was one of the highlights of our stay. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. The mattress, bedding, and pillows were perfect, and we slept incredibly well every night. The service was also outstanding. Staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Leshan. We will definitely be back."

"A lovely peaceful hotel close to the Leshan Giant Buddha, the hotel has a golf buggy and will run you to the taxi rank or the ticket hall for Buddhawalk and boat cruise. Staff went above expectations with service, a light in the bathroom didn't turn off when sleep mode was activated:-) and the fixed it as my son did not want change rooms. The rooms smelled lovely on arrival as the hotel left a beautiful scented tea and snacks each afternoon. My giant 13yr old son enjoyed the rubber ducks in the hotel pool put there for some younger guests."
