"Stayed at the hotel at the end of April for two nights. Three floor, view to the mountain. All arranged. Plus: Hot, clean, comfortable room. Hot water available (up early :)). Delicious breakfasts. Good staff. On Mangal Street (make chess). Near the shop. To the center 20min walk. Minuses (not related to the hotel): a disappointing view of the city's outskirts."

"The hotel has a very good location walking distance from both the railway station and the Valaam meteor pier. There’s a parking lot in front of the hotel too. The apartments are exactly like in the photos provided by the hotel, quite clean and spacious, have all necessary equipment starting from an AC and a heater to various kitchen utensils. Self check in took a little longer time than we expected but in general was quite convenient."

"Pros: - cleaning service available; - friendly staff Cons: - old rooms (furniture, walls, floor, sockets, everything is at least 15 years old) - audibility in the rooms (I could take part in the conversations of my neighbors and knew about all their trips to the toilet) - the restaurant is closed for renovations (because of which breakfast was brought to the room in plastic boxes, there was no choice - terribly overcooked porridge of no one knows what it was made of and syrniki + black tea were okay, there was not even a choice between green and black, not to mention coffee) - no disposable slippers, but there is a very cold floor (especially in the bathroom), a very unpleasant moment - they give out only 2 towels per person (one large and one small), and I need a separate one with my long and thick hair. I had to choose: dry my hair, and then my whole body with a wet towel, or first my body, and then my head with a wet towel). And the towels are quite old - the white color has already turned beige, but they are clean. - The standard bathroom set doesn't include shower gel, only laundry-scented soap and shampoo. - The bathroom is dusty, moldy, and water seeps everywhere because the shower is only separated from the rest of the bathroom by a curtain; there's no bathtub or shower stall. - There are no "do not disturb" or "cleaning needed" signs on the door. - The Wi-Fi is very weak. Sometimes it would drop out completely, so it was easier to use mobile data."
