"My husband and I are regular global travelers at luxury hotels and we were recommended to stay at the Park Vitznau by friends- our Zurich spot is generally the Baur au Lac, which we really enjoy. The positives on the Park Vitznau: Gorgeous property with spectacular views Private and small-romantic and peaceful Rooms are beautiful, well-appointed, spotless and luxurious Michelin Star restaurant was flawless- food, ambience and service Outdoor dining locations throughout offer variety with beautiful atmosphere Spa and pool area were magnificent offering beautiful views The negatives: Breakfast food choices and service was spotty. Food came late, often incomplete and just average compared to other meals and other hotels of this standard. Screaming kids allowed with no “adults only” area. In fact there were children in diapers in the hot tub with toys and food taking over the entire area for hours at a time. We thought it was unsanitary but the hotel stood behind it. (On a side note-I just had knee surgery and I was told by the surgeon to avoid hot tubs in risk of infection. I repeated this experience as it was recent, and he was shocked. Perhaps the standards around this are different in the United States versus Switzerland). The screaming kids with toys also continued in the dining areas-which spoiled the ambience and peaceful dining experience, There were many tables who left meals earlier than they would as it became unpleasant at times with kids running around noisily. Overall: While the property is beautiful and many things are right, it would be hard to recommend this hotel unless you are looking to come with young kids who can run freely. We very much enjoy children but in our opinion this is not a property set up to cater to those who are looking for a relaxed and enjoyable lake front experience."

"Vitznau is a beautiful small town. We traveled from Zurich taking trains and busses, the hotel is a short walk from the bus stop. The hotel is very aesthetic and has been recently renovated. The staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. It rained while we were there but the hotel can keep you entertained with the views, restaurants, spa, and pool. We ate at Sens which was outside (covered) by the lake, and we highly recommend eating at Inspiration. It was a wonderful experience. We also did a day in Lucerne, about an hour with bus and trains and the hotel helped us with directions."

"My husband and I have just spent 5 days at this fantastic hotel. It was a treat for my 40th birthday. Everything was absolutely glorious (apart from the iffy weather). I was given a lovely cake and bottle of champagne in the room. We had a lake view balcony room and the views are stunning. All the staff are so lovely. We also had the pleasure of meeting the general manager who was a very pleasant gentleman. We had dinner at Focus which was out of this world. The Grill restaurant was also delicious for dinner and breakfast. We had a very relaxing couples massage. I swam in the lake a couple of times. It was so cold but so refreshing. We don’t have many opportunities at home to do this so I had to make the most of it while I was there. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Just book it! Thanks Park Hotel Vitznau. Amy & Craig 🥰"

"This is a super hotel. The suite I booked is divided into two rooms, two bathrooms, and the two balconies are connected. I can sit outside and have a cup of coffee and take a nap. It is very comfortable. The hotel room has a separate washroom. The desk is very good. The hotel has a white style, the space is acceptable, and the overall feeling is very clean. Particularly commendable is the breakfast at this hotel, which has a wide variety and is of very good quality. The hotel has independent check-in, which is very convenient and the check-in is very fast. The hotel has a parking garage, which is very close and convenient. Parking is charged separately."
