"I booked a deluxe river view room, and it was really spacious, directly facing the river with an amazing view. I even captured a stunning sunset from my room! My only minor gripe is that the hotel windows could use a good cleaning, as it slightly detracted from the experience. The housekeeping staff were excellent; they promptly brought extra water and blankets when I requested them twice. I also had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, and the food was delicious. The double set menu offered a great variety, including local specialties like 'Guogai Mian' (Pot Lid Noodles) and 'Yaorou' (Jelly Meat), with generous portions that were more than enough for our family of three. The hotel's location is superb. It's about 3 kilometers from Xijin Ferry, a quick 10 RMB taxi ride away. There's also a convenient bus stop right downstairs. Plus, there's a lovely riverside promenade; Beigu Mountain is only about 800 meters away. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, much better than staying directly in the crowded and noisy tourist areas."

"The pillows are incredibly high and round, offering no support for the neck and shoulders, which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. The bathroom door is shared between the shower and the toilet, a design I've never encountered before. It would be very inconvenient for two people sharing a room. The location is pretty good; it's a 10-minute walk to the high-speed train station. Zhenjiang isn't a large city, so getting around by taxi is quick and convenient."
