I had great experience in this hotel with my family. Room service and house keeping service is quick. Fast check in at front office, staff at front office is so nice and cooperative. Restaurants food is quite good .Here all the things are well managed and behavior of hotel staff is very polite.

I stayed there with my husband. And the experience was really good. Food was tasty, and well it comes to the service it was top notch

The location is walking distance to lal chowk. It's a quiet road, fairly clean. Decor is nice, room has heater and electric blanket and fan. Warm water seems to be available mornings but mostly not on evenings possibly because of the freezing temperatures this time of year. For me personally it was a problem as i normally take evening showers as well. Every room had a window afaik. Breakfast was highly enjoyable and recommended. Staff are polite and helped me get auto as well on my departure. Overall the experience was pleasant enough and if you only normally take one bath shower a day it would be ok

Fabulous location, we were welcomed very warmly and the car was valet parked which was important as it was cold and raining. We were offered a warm drink and a comfortable place to sit whilst the formalities of check in were completed. We didn’t even have time to finish our drink before we were offered an upgraded room at no extra cost. WOW! The room was spacious, beautifully dressed and we were shown our own private balcony with the most spectacular view and this was also very nicely furnished. Everything was as we’d hoped and expected, because the hotel is EXPENSIVE, but we received exactly what we paid for. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the Pandemic has affected everyone and this hotel has had to do it’s best to survive these difficult times. The facilities in the Spa have been cut back to save costs but when we went to use it the place was warmed and treatments were enhanced to ensure we were more than satisfied. Luxury is expensive and we really enjoyed the pampering!!! All I can say is that this hotel and the treatment of their guests is everything you would expect for the price you have to pay. If wehad unlimited money we would stay only here when we visit Kashmir, which I do often to visit family. Even when we do visit family here we often visit the hotel, just to enjoy the gardens and admire the building and the ambience. Although we may not spend one penny on these visits the treatment by the staff has always been the same as we experienced on this visit. One word to describe this hotel FABULOUS.

Beautiful property, far from main town. Need to have your own convenience. Good food. Kitchen manager is excellent looking after us as a family.

The stay is very amazing. Got an amazing room upgrade option to suite room. Special mention to mr. Saleem and ms. Uznain for taking care of all the needs in very polite and decent way. Staff was veru courteous and kind. Recommend this stay to the upcoming tourists to srinagar

Overall stay was Okay. The property is not in prime location, for anyone who is visiting srinagar for the first time. The zostel Manager is not a cool guy. This zostel was pretty different than other ones. Overall services and facilities was okay. Cons :- Apart from basic stuff related to stay, you don't find any bonfire. There is an entry and exit timing. I feel cab bookings are expensive if you compare with others. You really need to be flexible and adjustable having stay here. I found a lot of people having heated arguments with this Manager. location is issue of this property. There are long powercut hours in this property. Pros : You will find a lot of like minded people here. Good environment. Conclusion:- It's far from Main city (Dal Gate). By private Cabs and Auto they will charge you 200-500 just to go for zostel. Apart from Nishant and Shalimar Garden, nothing is in close proximity. You need to take shared taxi to save money. Food options are limited in this area apart from thier own Cafe.

Location very nice Very hygienic and clean The staff very Co-operative specially the Calcutta girl on the front desk ANUSHMYA or something like that was such a kind , humble and versatile person she helped me so much in guiding Foreigners who don't have pay tm or Google pay Pls take enough cash , no usd can change also

Hotel katra residency is very good place to stay whenever you visit to darshan mata vaishno devi, food quality is very good on good proce also, hygiene cleaning all aspects are better, hotel tarrif also not too much high as being famous pilgrim place.

While booking got confirmation that will get free supply of mineral water, but while checked in it was said that, mineral water is not in your package even food is also not as per our choice, in this case, menu must be shown while booking at least a standard thali should be added in package
