Hotel 2 Bintang di Krabi, Thailand

My partner and myself spent a few nights on the island at one of the small cottages. Perfect for couples and those having a short stay on the island. They are located about a 10 minute walk from the main area of bars and restaurants, however, at night walking back, its always a peaceful, enjoyable trip from the views. The cottages provide the exact facilities required and were sweet and cosy. Central enough to all the action and has the most gorgeous views!

Room is cosy, very clean and upper floors are way better than ground floor rooms. The property looks new and is located smack in the center of all the madness but quiet and away from it. A good 3 minutes walk from Tonsai Pier, and situated within 3 minutes walk to the Long Dalum Bay beach, a superbly beautiful beach - meant for instagrammers. Pro tip: the day tours contracted by the hotel seems to be cheaper than elsewhere and online, and it's really worth the money and time to just book directly with them. The only problem, largely, is the mosquitoes in the lobby. It's like a buffet for them.

Really big and comfortable rooms! Good service in the reception and helpful staff. The only thing to improve is the water pump that they have in the rooftop that is a bit noisy and annoying during the night. By the other side I highly recommend this place.

Generally we have chose this hotel due itself great location, simply get off to downtown and market by foot couple mins. Room basically is clean and functional as same budget hotel as it shall be, but at least having a landline easily to call out desk if any assistance needed. TV remove is kind of mess that it been 2 sets as we thought it out of service.. Anyways you got what you really paid for but service of mindset at desk really needs more greets and smiles..

Harganya murah, jadi bagus untuk melancong dan berehat. Lokasinya bagus dan kolam renangnya juga bagus. Ia adalah nilai terbaik untuk wang!!! Ia lebih baik daripada hanya sebuah asrama, dan ia bersih dan bersih. Katil mempunyai rasa musim bunga, tetapi biliknya luas, jadi ia bagus untuk melakukan lawatan 2-3 hari, berenang cepat pada waktu petang dan hanya tidur. Pemandangannya cukup sejuk!!

Hostel itself was cute and beds were comfortable. Free drinking water in the lobby. and relatively calm despite being located on one of the major streets in Ao Nang. However during my stay (3 nights) I had two major problems: someone in my dorm room stole something of mine and the person sleeping in the same bunk bed as me had very strong body odor. Both of which is not the staff's fault, however they didn't really seem to care about these issues when I brought them up... I also overheard another person from a different dorm room reporting theft, so it seems that it's a recurring issue at the hostel. :(

The staff were really friendly but unfortunately after waiting 3 hours to check in I found bed bugs in the bed. I had checked reviews to avoid any place with bed bugs and there was no mention of any on other reviews. I reported in to the receptionist and they changed my room right away and had a cleaner stripping the bed straight away. However there was then bed bugs in the 2nd room, to which I immediately showed the receptionist as she was still in my last room and she just flicked it off and said they will change the sheets. My concern was that if there are bed bugs in two of the rooms on the sheets then there will be more and they reside in the mattress and below the sheets too. I said I just cannot stay there as I do not want to get bites or for my things to become infested. The receptionist said sorry there are no refunds, I read at the desk that there were no refunds under any circumstances however I understand that for other reasons but this is unacceptable and this is a clear health issue and was completely out of my control. I am disappointed with the approach towards this and feel I should have received a refund as I was not there for even an hour. This would have been a lovely stay and the staff were so kind and did try to rectify the situation by giving me a new room immediately but unfortunately due to this issue I would not recommend staying here.

All dark wood and very grounding traditional thai bungalows. The views to the beach from the front ones are bliss! The rest are all very close so don’t expect much privacy on your deck. Clever design. Simple. Affordable. Good wifi, water, aircon. No daily service. There’s rooms at the back that look cool and cheaper than the huts. I’d stay in them if not absolute front. The bed was crazy hard, but it may have just been mine. No top sheet, odd, just 2 Chelsea blankets. Please change that if the lender reads this. Neighbour told us on our last day that the owner has a menu that you can order from and have delivered!!! Wish we knew that earlier as the walk to main part is 20 mins. Besides all that. BLISS to walk onto the beach and swim or lay on their beach chairs.

Prenotato con booking per 5 notti, al nostro arrivo e dopo aver pagato in contanti scopro che non c'è ascensore e la stanza era a piano 4, chiedo un'altra stanza perché ho problemi di salute ma non c'è disponibilità. Al secondo giorno dopo essermi resa conto che non riuscivo ad affrontare 4 piani a piedi dico che lascio l'albergo e voglio i soldi dri 3 giorni restanti perché ho problemi di salute certificati e anche perché nel sito non c'è scritto che non c'è ascensore. Dopo varie discussioni mi rimborsano solo il 50 % dei 3 giorni restanti. Io credo che siamo di fronte ad una truffa vera e propria perché se non si segnala la mancanza di ascensore e arriva un cliente che ha problemi di deambulazione e ti incassi i soldi senza rimborsare siete dri ladri .

Ideal place to stay. Clean and comfy. Super friendly and helpful staff.

We enjoyed our staying. Yes it is not a new hotel, but it is nice and clean. The beds are just perfect. We got a wall view, but is was better than a noisy construction view. The hotel have a cool common area on the first floor so there is no problem is you do not get a window/balcony. The location is great, it is close to everything (bars, cafes ect) but absolutely quiet to sleep. Reccomend.

El alojamiento necesita una reforma urgente. Por un lado esta bien ubicado a 2 minutos del ferry y a 3 minutos del ambiente de la isla pero sin que te moleste el ruido de la fiesta. El recepcionisla y la mujer que esta con el muy amable y simpatico. Hasta ahi lo bueno. La habitación necesita reforma urgente, humedades por todas las paredes, las toallas limpias pero viejas, la habitación huele a humedad y pata mi lo mas importante, la cama y la almohada incomodisima, no merece nada la pena, el colchon se hunde y tocas los muelles, no pude dormir en toda la noche y al día siguiente igual. Por otro lado en el baño hay una bomba de agua que se escucha toda la noche y es bastante molesta. En fin el dueño deberia de reformar e invertir un poco por lo .enos en colchones y almohadas seguro que aunque siempre se le llene porque la isla siempre tiene gente podria sacarle mas beneficio.

Очень грязный номер, шторы все в пятнах, полы не моют. В душевой нет никакой перегородки/шторки, поэтому все заливается водой, так же нет полочек в ванной комнате (принимать душ было очень неудобно и брезгливо) Постельное белье в пятнах и дырках (надеемся что пятна просто не отстирались..) Матрас неудобный. Местоположение хорошее (но нашли не сразу, гугл карты неправильно строят маршрут) Есть небольшой подъем из ступенек. Вид из номера прекрасный! Пляжные полотенца выдали по запросу на ресепшене, воду также приходилось каждый раз просить (в номере не пополняли) Уборка по запросу (но по факту только постельное белье заменяют) Есть чайник, но чтобы его вскипятить нужно пользоваться розеткой возле кровати. До пляжа Лонг Бич идти лучше вдоль берега, занимает путь примерно минут 30-40 (не ходите маршрутом, который строит гугл мэпс - он ведет через гору)

ห้องพักสะอาดดูดีตรงปก แอร์เย็นไม่มีปัญหา พี่คนดูแลห้องพักเป็นกันเองใจดี จัดทริปให้ท่องเที่ยวด้วย วันเช็คอินคือเราไปถึงก่อนเวลาพี่แกก็ให้เข้าพักได้เลย เราจองสองคืนที่โรงแรมนี้แต่เราอยากอยู่ต่อพี่ที่ดูแลก็จัดหาติดต่อห้องพักที่อื่นให้(โรงแรมนี้เต็มเลยไม่ได้อยู่ต่อ)บริการประทับใจมากค่ะ

Ужасный старый отвратительный отель с администраторами - врунами. Посмотрите фото - увидите все своими глазами. Не приезжайте сюда никогда по многим причинам! 1.Вонючий запах в номерах. 2.Цена не соответствует качеству. 3.Постельное белье замызганое и грязное. 4.По стенам бегают пауки.В постели под одеялом при заселении обнаружили муравьев!! 5.Стекла замызганы . 6.Качество интернета отвратительное, проще сказать что его нет! Если вам важно оставаться на связи - здесь вы будете оторваны от всего мира 7. Вида на море нет, все загораживается пальмами, для этого надо селиться на самый верх, но нам отказали - весь отель был занят. 8. Розетка около кровати только с одной стороны, как и туалетный столик. Со второй стороны - пустое пространство. 9. Мебель и ремонт очень старые, всё пошарпанное, ножка стола стоит на крышке от бутылки, чтобы не раскачивался!🫣 10. Канализация через открытый люк прямо в туалете! Запах канализации тошнотворный, плюс отчетливый шум стекающих фекалий сверху прямо у вас 11. Стаф больше заботится о продаже экскурсий и билетов, чем о комфортном отдыхе клиентов 13. Заявленного балкона нет. Да и вообще большие сомнения что это был улучшенный номер, как бронировали. В связи с этим обратились в службу поддержки букинг ( читайте ниже) 13. Освещение в номере очень тусклое.Слив в унитазе работает еле еле . Да и в целом ощущение что живешь в сарае За время пандемии тайцы могли произвести хотя бы минимальный косметический ремонт, но им пофиг в какие номера они селят отдыхать (!) людей. Если вы хиппари, которые обкуриваются и им пофиг где жить - вам подойдет. Если вы любите хотя бы минимальный комфорт и тишину - обходите это место стороной Не вернёмся сюда никогда и вам не советуем. Написали в службу поддержки букинг на изменение номера,тк на ресепшене не реагировали на просьбы. Они связались с ресепшеном и администратор Нуна солгала что вопрос решен, хотя к нам даже не обращались.

I mean its cheap so ypu cant complain much but the bathroom is a bit problematic. If anyone goes to the toilet at night you can hear it. The bathroom is in generel not so good. But the beds are good and you get free Water. Its also no so close to the restaurant so its nicely quit.

We planned to stay a few days but ended up staying for a week. The cottages are small ish but very clean and the bed was very comfortable, which is probably the most important thing for me when I travel. A lovely little veranda outside (with electric plugs) , and on some days I put the fan there and did some work on my laptop. The beach is 5 minute walk with a few restaurants and cafés along the way. The owner and his friend Suzan are really laid back and helpful. We booked our trips, scooters and laundry service there and prices were better than at any of the nearby agencies. No breakfast facilities but there are multiple breakfast places 2 min away. It's not a 5 star resort but we had everything we needed: a comfortable, clean place by probably the best swimming beach in Lanta.

Tamarind Twin resort is a very comfortable resort, clean, modern large rooms, very comfortable beds, plenty of storage space & a nice bathroom, the hot water is hot just not very fast coming out of the shower. The staff are friendly & very helpful. Breakfast is available at a cute little cafe 50m away at very reasonable prices & good food. Tamarind is easy to find, they also hire scooters & about 10mins by scooter from Ban Saladan port/town. Also lots of Tuk Tuks around if you need a taxi. The resort is walking distance around 100mtrs from the beautiful Long Beach of white sand & turquoise sea. The resort also has a nice pool. Definitely would stay again.

STAY AT THIS HOTEL! This place has stolen our hearts, lovely apartment rooms, all with pool with. This is a family run home hotel and they’re the friendless, most sweetest people we’ve ever met. We extended our original 3 night stay, another 3 nights purely because of them. Everywhere in Koh Lanta you really need a mo-ped to get about but it’s literally one straight road from top to bottom of the island, so I can’t fault the location when there’s a gym / Muay Thai gym 1 minute away, beach & 7-Eleven plus many restaurants within 10 minutes on feet. 10/10 stay, I couldn’t recommend enough.

Room 903 Extended our stay as it was marvelous, had a scooter for 20 days. Beautiful maintained pool with friendly staff, no late night noise. We would love to stay again The owner was a pleasant friendly person, couldn't ask for more

Ce resort est exceptionnel : les bungalows sont tout neufs, grands, luxueux, très confortables (la literie est de très bonne qualité), avec une agréable terrasse où admirer les couchers de soleil. La piscine est grande et belle, on peut y nager. Le jardin paysager est magnifique. Tout est construit et décoré avec un goût parfait, c'est un régal. C'est très calme et à 2 mn à pieds de la charmante Old Lanta Town, d'un 7-Eleven et d'un petit marché. Le personnel (deux frères et leurs parents) sont absolument adorables, aux petits soins, très disponibles et très efficaces. Nous avons pu louer un scooter grâce à eux et ils nous ont fait les réservations de bus et bateau pour la suite de notre voyage. Nous avons réellement adoré notre séjour d'une semaine là-bas. Nous recommandons à 200 % .

I can even put into words how amazing our stay was with all the staff at Baan Suan Rim Klong Resort they made us feel so welcome and made everything so easy , anything we needed they helped with from extra towels to recommendations, the Hotel has a taxi service which is free to most the local beaches and 7/11 , and was fairly priced for locations further up the island this was absolutely amazing given some people in our group weren’t comfortable with riding a moped /scooter , Orange was our driver for most the trips and he was so lovely and kind , We also had Ma Jinda who was the best host ever , she gave us her what’s app for whenever we needed anything from collection from one of the beautiful beaches to some extra bits for the room. The resort is located well within walking distance of a few of the locals beaches , their in-house restaurant was amazing quality and was super cheap aswell. Thank you for having us 🥰🥰

Lieu très bien, petit bémol sur l'accueil et la réception sinon rien à redire proche de la mer et de certains bar animé

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Lanta Ray Bay. Everything about this place is as it should be - friendly and professional service, decent rooms with comfortable beds and the location is just perfect - a minute walk from beautiful, family friendly beach, numerous restaurants, great coffee shops, bars etc. Very convenient for exploring the island but also quiet and peaceful at the same time. Nam, who owns the hotel, runs it very well and is available at reception most of the time. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she helped us organise local trips, car rental and airport transfer (including a car child seat for our 3yo daughter which we didn’t even have to ask for). Breakfast offering is simple but tasty. All in all, Lanta Ray Bay is great value for money and we will be definitely staying there again when we visit Ko Lanta in the future. Thank you Nam and the team - you made our holiday :-)
