Kakak di kaunter hadapan sangat peramah dan senang diajak berbual. Saya menginap pada hari Rabu, dan kebetulan pula ada pasar malam betul-betul di hadapan hotel, memang sangat menyeronokkan. Walaupun lokasinya agak jauh dari pusat bandar, saya dapat menikmati makanan Cina yang sangat berpatutan harganya dan sedap di gerai makan berdekatan. Untuk bergerak ke mana-mana, mudah sahaja jika menggunakan Grab. Ini adalah sebuah hotel yang bagus, dan saya pasti akan memilih untuk menginap di sini lagi apabila saya ke Ipoh pada masa akan datang.

Hotel ini sangat dekat dengan beberapa restoran terkenal, terdapat banyak tempat untuk menukar wang berdekatan, dan terdapat kedai dobi bertentangan. Perkara di atas sepatutnya menjadi kelebihan terbesar hotel ini. Apabila saya mendaftar masuk, kakitangan meja depan cuba meminta saya membayar cukai, saya memberitahunya bahawa saya telah membayar secara online. Dia juga meminta saya menghantar e-mel invois bil cukai dan mengambil gambar. Susun atur dan kemudahan bilik hotel adalah sangat mudah, tetapi anda masih perlu membayar deposit. Saya tidak pernah diminta deposit oleh mana-mana hotel lain yang saya pernah menginap di Malaysia sebelum dan sejak itu. Saya harap anda boleh mempercayai watak tetamu dan mengelakkan masalah yang tidak perlu.

Tiba @2pm dan majlis resepsi (lupa tanya namanya) membenarkan kami masuk. Ditempah untuk bilik suite junior dan telah diberikan di tingkat 3 yang merupakan yang tertinggi. biliknya besar dan kebersihan sangat baik. Bilik air juga besar. Wifi dan aircond juga berfungsi dengan baik. Restoran, kedai, pasar mini terletak berhampiran berhampiran hotel. Ruang Parking percuma yang luas disediakan di bawah bumbung untuk tetamu hotel. Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada wanita penyambut tetamu Cina kerana bertolak ansur dan baik sepanjang penginapan kami. Kedua ibu bapa saya seronok tinggal di sini.

Hotel bajet. Saya membelanjakan lebih kurang rm50 selepas diskaun
Air terlalu perlahan tetapi pemanas berfungsi dengan baik, aircond agak bising tetapi sejuk.
Bantal agak lama tetapi tidak berbau dan masih boleh ditanggung
Tiada peralatan mandian disediakan
Kalis bunyi okay okay....
Secara keseluruhannya agak berpuas hati untuk hotel bajet, tidur nyenyak sebelum bekerja keesokan harinya.

First stay at this new hotel in Ipoh and we are pleasantly surprised by the comfort. Location is walking distance to downtown for lots of great food and souvenir shopping. The bed in the room is great for a goodnight sleep. For hotel of this class we didn’t expect much amenities but surprised that most things are provided for comfort of guest. Even bathrobe!
The areas for improvement are:
1. Water leakage from the shower made the toilet floor constantly wet. Design default that I hope can be rectified.
2. Checkout reception was so strict with sop. Late check out. No. Umbrella. No. Everything is a no, don’t think they are properly trained in hospitality management. Management order over guest satisfaction is how they operate. No help with luggage with the guard standing to look on. Not very nice welcome.
3. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room. Had to call at 4pm for cleaning to be done. Reception accused us for putting on the no disturb sign. No apology just mere mention that they will contact housekeeping when we insisted that we switched “please clean room” sign since morning. We met the cleaner who was much nicer than the reception staff.
For a no frill stay, this hotel is nice and quiet but some may not like the fact that it’s beside funeral parlour.

Paling bagus dan patut dipuji ialah siaran televisyen. Ada tv1, tv2, tv3, 8tv, tv alhijrah, tv okey. Banyak siaran boleh ditonton. Tuala disediakan cukup untuk 3 orang tetamu, dapat 3 helai tuala. Bilik mempunyai kipas siling dan aircond. Ada tanda arah kiblat. Bilik bersih.

LLShannonWe travelled in a group of 3 female friends. I have to say I booked this place due to its industrial themed rooms. It's definitely nostalgic and rustic but the cleanliness is still very much up to standard. We even had a balcony and managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks in a distance. In the morning, we caught the sunrise as well. It's beautiful.
The location is best! 👍🏼 it's just next to the famous Thean Chun Coffeeshop, where you get to eat shredded chicken noodles, popiah, asam laksa, Satay, char kway teow.
Will definitely recommend this place to others.
The only one thing is u will need a little patience when it comes to service. The staff left us standing aimlessly where she went up to the room.

GGuest UserThe BEST hostel I’ve been in my 7 countries Asian trip. The location, the services, the cleaniliness, the attention, all were great.
The hotel is on a renovated old building with exquisite details and curated decoration elements.
Everything is clean. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are big enough to have your small backpack in it. There’s a curtain for privacy and it wasn’t crowded. The other guest were very mindful of others. This hotel is relatively new, they opened in Nov 2025 so, it’s still getting known in the travel world.
You can use the kitchen that has all the implements to cook, store items in the fridge and prepare a breakfast with ingredients that the hotel provides… free, great breakfast!
If you need a towel they give you one at no charge… for now.
The location is great. You can walk to the old town of the city and Concubine ln. It’s a really nice walk. That part of the city saw a past splendor and the buildings show it. There are several restaurants around, even some fast food.
Two things I would review if I was the owner… I waited for an hr before getting my room while other people got settled immediately. My dorm only had 2 ppl in it, the room was ready when I got there. If you have a bed available, just give away even when there’s no the time. It means a lot to the guest that in general has been traveling long hrs, especially if it’s a small place with not many people.
The other thing is to teach us (ignorant westerners), how to use the electric shower heater. I couldn’t make it work because I couldn’t find the on/off button. A small sign could have solved my and others’ frustrations.
The owners are doing an excellent job at the hotel. I’m planning to come back so I’ll be a guest again at the Brownstone.

RRizalmanRoom 211. The parking in front of the hotel for cars and motorcycles is well-lit. I hope the basement parking's lighting can be upgraded to LEDs; it's currently quite dark and doesn't feel safe for solo women, especially when returning late at night, as there are many Bangladeshi workers around.
The front desk feels more like an old-style guesthouse counter, with no proper lobby. Staff are okay. There's a RM50 deposit per room, but no record is kept; it's essentially a 'barter' system where you exchange the deposit for the TV and air-conditioner remotes.
The lift works well for accessing the second and third floors. The hotel has been newly renovated and repainted, both exterior and interior. The walls and rooms are clean and freshly painted, the floors are clean, and there's hot and cold Coway filtered water available. An ironing board is provided outside the room.
Inside the room, the pillows, mattress, sheets, sofa, and wardrobe are all new. The room itself is freshly painted, clean, and feels fresh. The floor is clean. The bathroom is also new and clean, with only slight signs of age on the wall tiles. There's a view of houses and a small hill.
The hotel is located within 1-3 km of Ipoh city center. Being in a residential area, there are no eateries or convenience stores nearby. So, you'll need to order Foodpanda for food and Grab for transport, though it's only a 5-minute ride to town.
The Panasonic air-conditioner, despite being new, cools very slowly; it took almost 3 hours to cool even half the room. I hope this can be fixed. I'm not sure if all rooms experience the same issue.
The room is comfortable to stay in, though it's not soundproof. However, it's comfortable for sleeping. The hot water for showering is good. Excellent pest control. The door lock uses a sturdy access card.
The TV channels are terrible and fuzzy; I hope they can install MyTV. Overall, the room is completely new, but I hope they fix the slow air-conditioning, improve the TV channels with MyTV, and upgrade the parking lights to LEDs.
The front desk staff at Hotel Pinji should be more cheerful. I'm not sure if the Wi-Fi works well, but there is a password provided.
If these issues are addressed, Hotel Pinji would undoubtedly be Ipoh's best budget hotel for various groups: bus tours, students, wedding guests, families visiting university/college/school students (especially when dorms are full), out-of-town workers, businessmen, local and international tourists, and bikers. Gym access costs RM6 for hotel guests. The room price is reasonable.

One thing that might help you would be to write about the classes you have taken. “My review of Physics 104 at ASGSDFHER university, a class by class account”. You would discuss what you thought was useful, what you learned and later what you should have learned. This blog might be for others but would be useful for you to study for exams.
Travel, staying in, and visiting hotels.
Once you have experience in those things, then you could start an effective travel blog.
In my town, there are a few hotels with restaurants and fitness clubs. I could use those without seeing a room. This would give me some idea of the basics of hotels: amenities, parking lot and access to your room or the parking lot.
Honestly, if you not traveling professionally, and so using a variety of hotels, you probably won’t have enough experience to write a good blog.
I like camping. I wouldn’t attempt a review of camp sites until I had experience of 20 parks and camp sites. Or maybe if I stayed at several campsites at the same park. I love Killbear Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada, and I know it well enough to describe some of the camping areas. I know that some are limited-artificial noise areas where radios are not allowed. Others are slightly more oriented to (mild) parties. But I don’t know enough Provincial Parks to write a good blog.
Oh, one other thing. Writing about hotels is a part of writing about tourism in general. You could also write about the tourist sites around your o

The room was clean, the room service was prompt, and the reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great choice if you’re looking for a hassle-free, ”basics done right” experience.

GGuest UserAlways our go to option. Cheap with simple and good enough amenities for short stay. The layout option with 2 big beds with a sliding door works well for my parents and I giving enough privacy within the room.

CCHEWLocation was great and within 10 mins drive to all the popular eating shops and 15 mins to shopping area of Ipoh city centre. Free car park helps a lot and we enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool with nice aerial view of the mountains at the background. Host was responsive as they only had 3 mugs for our booking for 6 people. When we requested for more, it was brought to us quite promptly. Except for the kitchen and dining area which is a little cramped and a huge stain mark on the kitchen flooring area, it was perfect as the place was clean.
