Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

Room is just beside the station very convenient location. Room was clean, was not noisy despite being so near the station. Staff was very friendly as well.

What an intensely beautiful and comfortable hotel to stay at. Mount fuji view room type is a definitely must choose. Perfectly clean and great amenities. For those who rent a car to travel within mount fuji, this place is a must stay.

前回は「温泉付の部屋」をチョイスしましたが、今回は8畳の和室の部屋を素泊まりにて。（一番安いプランです） 眺めは温泉付の部屋の反対側で、ただの街並みが見えるだけなので期待しない方がいいです。また、室内の風呂はないのですが大浴場がありますので問題無いです。 その大浴場は日替わりなのですが、どちらも広い風呂でいい湯加減です。また湯上がり場もありますのでゆっくり出来ます。 いまは、第一駐車場（機械式駐車場）より少し離れた第2駐車場（平面）に駐車するのが普通のようです。でも、ちょっと離れていますのでご注意下さい。 まぁ、歩いて数分のところにスーパーもあるので、一人旅にはちょうど良いプランですし、ゆっくり出来るので良いと思います。ぜいたくしたい方はいろんなプランがあるので選んで宿泊するのが良いと思います。

知多半島からの旅行の帰りに1泊しました。富士山は朝少しだけしか見えませんでしたが、お部屋の温泉と大浴場の温泉を堪能しました。鉄板焼きの夕食も美味しく、シェフの方とも楽しくお話しさせて頂きました。また機会がありましたら再訪したいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

I started visiting Okura hotel in Hamamatsu since March 2010 and this hotel and its wonderful staff has always been consistent in delivering exceptionally wonderful service. The hotel is located strategically next to Hamamatsu train station which makes it very convenient to get to. Act City Mall is located next to the hotel and it’s a convenient place to shop. There’s also many restaurants and bars which are located not more then 10 minutes walk from the hotel. If you get a view at one of the higher floors, you will get an awesome view of Hamamatsu city. There are many restaurants in the hotel as well as the complex where the hotel is located. The hotel is decorated with music themes and I like how the elevator has Chopin’s music notes on it. Exceptionally classy and beautiful hotel!

I wish I could give it 5 stars! Let's start with the bad - the hotel thought of just about everything except effective soundproofing. It was unpleasant to hear the traffic at all times when in the room even with the balcony closed, but you could find a way to accept it. What really killed it was 2 evenings in a row hearing a kid running above you for .5-1 hr at a time and being woken up in the middle of the night twice because someone decided to enjoy their onsen on their balcony and was talking and laughing loudly. We stayed for 5 nights and the weekend was the worst as the hotel had a higher occupancy rate. Without that...there is no good, there is only great: - Check-in is private, seated in the lobby with welcoming refreshments - Private onsen on your balcony (in addition to the large one for all guests) - amazing! - Room accommodations very well appointed with numerous amenities and very spacious - Parking available on your room level very convenient (not all, but some... we stayed on 4th floor so even exit from garage was available on our floor) - Restaurants - we had breakfast which had great options and service, we also enjoyed a room service for dinner which offered ability to order from multiple of restaurants. We didn't have dinner in the restaurants as we didn't find the menus appealing for all in our party. - Location is great, short walk to most things you'd want to do in Atami, across the street from a beach (not a great one, but people use it) and relatively easy to get out by car (especially if you ignore GPS directions that guide to tiny streets)

I loved my stay at Nippondaira Hotel. It is a bit far away from Shizuoka station but you can get a hotel shuttle bus at a free of charge. You can check the time table on the hotel website. 40 min-ride will take you to the new world. The view is just stunning. If you select 'Mt. Fuji view room', you can enjoy the view from your room. There is a terrace outside of that room. Mt. Fuji is always in front of you and city lights of Shimizu are really beautiful.. I was glad I chose this hotel. There is also a view deck on the 6th floor for the guests who do not select 'Mt. Fuji view room'. It is worth the stay !! There are no restaurants around this hotel and dinner is kind of expensive, so you might need to get food at Shizuoka station area if Dinner is not included the package.

I recently had the delight of staying at Izu Marriott, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Nestled in the picturesque town of Izu, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The hotel itself is equally impressive. It is well-designed and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Izu Marriott. They were incredibly polite and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with my room, the staff was always available and eager to help. Especially thank Roshan and the front desk team, who provide exceptional service to us.

The place is amazing, own onsen in your room, and there is an amazing view of Fuji. The only problem is that there any restaurants for this hotel that doesn’t require a reservation prior to your check in, so if you need any food, you need to go to the hotel next-door. Other than that is a very good experience, very spacious room for your family or your friend, and it’s a great chance for you to get near nearer to the nature.

里山にあるお宿でした。 チェックインの14時に到着して、多分2番目位のお客さんだったと思いますが、かなり待たされました。 仕方ないのでドリンクコーナーの飲み物を飲みながら待ちました。宿帳を先に書いてくださいとかの案内も無かったです。 やっとチェックイン手続きが出来ると思いきや、係りの方(男性)は、こちらの手続きのしたり、あっちこっちの違うお客さんに話しかけたりと落ち着かず、なかなか宿の説明やチェックイン手続きが進みませでした。初めての宿なので、せめて通しできちん対応をしてもらいたかったです。 しかし、外で写真を撮っていたら、違うスタッフさんがすぐ出てきてくれて、二人の写真を撮ってくれて、丁寧な接客でした。 お風呂は、14時チェックインなのに15時からの利用と言われ、つれあいも私もかなりがっかりしました。 しかし、3つの貸切風呂は、15時前(14:30位?)に貸切風呂の3つの鍵は全て無くなり、もう入っている人がいました。 さて、3階の部屋は和洋室で広々としてました。部屋の窓から里山の庭が見せいい感じです。つれあいは窓際の席で庭をずっと眺めていました。 部屋内はかなり暗い照明です。雰囲気はありますが、私にはちょっと暗すぎたかも。 部屋の鍵は２本あり、便利でした。和室とベットの部屋の段差がかなりあり(階段1.5段位)、夜中のトイレは要注意です。 大浴場は、部屋の建物の外の棟にあります。２つの源泉で、8種類のお風呂があります。露天風呂も2つありました。源泉かけながしのお風呂もあります。森の中の雰囲気があります。 洗面エリアには、化粧水などのアメニティーは揃っています。 夕食は、17:20と20:00の２部制で、海鮮か肉のコースの２つから選び、レストランが違います。海鮮はキンメのしゃぶしゃぶだったので、お肉コースにしました。 夕食はとても満足しました(ワンドリンク付で地酒にしました)。 前菜も先椀も美しく美味でした。土瓶蒸しもありました。 お肉コースの肉は、国産牛ロース、牛カルビ、静岡の味噌鶏、鹿肉のソーセージ、富士のロースと５種類あり、ステーキタレは2種類あったのて、飽きることなく、食べきりました。 小皿などは３種類から選べました。 デザートのコーヒープリンもシャーベットも美味でした。 お食事処の担当の方の接客が丁寧でとても良かったです。 朝食時間は、8時希望でしたが８時はなかったので、7:30にしました。 昨夜とは違うレストランのカウンター席でいただきました。カウンターテーブルについては昨日の食べこぼしや、食器の後がついていた点はイマイチでした。 お品書きがある朝食内容自体は良かったです。洋食、か和食か選べます。 食事とお風呂は良かったので、また利用することがありそうです。

We stayed at the resort for one night in a Standard room with a private open-air bath. It was poor value for money and not worth the room rate of JPY 133,100 (approximately USD 900, including dinner and breakfast). The experience was neither luxurious nor special compared to other onsen hotels and inns we have stayed at across Japan. Pros - Complimentary pick-up and drop-off from Izu Kogen station with a comfortable van - Arrangement of sightseeing taxi to explore Jogasaki Coast, Kadowaki suspension bridge and Mount Omuro before check-in - Large variety of indoor and outdoor onsen - Complimentary minibar - Flexible meal times - Delicious, traditional kaiseki dinner and breakfast - Free ice cream vending machine - Late check-out - Onigiri as send-off gift - Quality bathroom amenities including Bulgari toiletries and Marvis toothpaste Cons - While fairly clean and well maintained, the room wasn't traditional but simply dated - The room was dark, dingy and felt claustrophobic as it had a low ceiling and was located on the basement level with its small terrace and private open-air bath enclosed by a tall wooden fence for privacy and tall trees right beyond - The onsen water in the private open-air bath smelled odd, as if there was chlorine in it (which should definitely not be the case for a natural hot spring) - A large, dead insect (in the best case a cicada or worst case a cockroach) that we noticed right after check-in near the main staircase was not removed during the entire stay - The grounds were not well maintained as tons of fallen leaves were left in gardens and in outdoor onsen

伊東小涌園に囲まれる様な全七部屋の離れで古民家を移築して7年の緑涌。全て作りの異なった部屋は源泉掛け流しの2人は入れる屋根の無い露天風呂付き。約60度ある温泉は美肌効果がある潤い成分メタケイ酸の含有量が多く、ペットボトルに入れて持ち帰り、化粧水用に使うお客様も居るそう。大浴場には伊東温泉で唯一飲料出来る胃腸に優しい温泉も飲めます。泉質は肌に優しくスベスベの美肌の湯で熱めと、ヌルめの湯と、露天風呂があり、ヌルめの湯でも出てから暫くポカポカして湯冷めしません。夜中に男女入れ替えになりますが、部屋の露天風呂にマッタリゆったり寛ぎながら長湯するのが最高でした。竹の塀と樹々に囲まれ景観は望めない部屋の露天風呂は時々通る電車の音も「千と千尋の神隠し」のシーンを思い出させ、また屋根が無いので星を眺めながらの至福のひと時。とても街中に在るとは感じませんでした。料理は部屋で頂けます。出汁の取り方が上手く鮑の鍋は美味しく、金目の煮付けも流石。気になったのはメインの肉料理。アスパラをサシの入った牛肉で巻いたものより、やはり緑涌さんが出すとこうなる「ステーキ」を期待したいところでした。少量でも印象に残る逸品が出ると、魚料理から連想していただけに残念でした。朝ご飯は、カマスか鯵の干物が選べます。内容は普通でした。チェックアウトの11時まで好みの温度調節をしながら源泉掛け流しの露天風呂に入れるので温泉好きな方にはオススメな宿です。
