Hotel terbaik di Essen

Ich bin eine gebürtige Essenerin und kenne deshalb das Hotel schon ewig. Die Lage ist zentral, gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof und mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind je nach Kategorie geräumig. Ich finde es toll, das man die Fenster öffnen kann. Auch die Betten sind bequem. Frühstück gegen Aufpreis, dort gibt es allerdings Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem 100% Empfehlung

Wow. What a trip that was to the Essen Spiel convention. And what an excellent hotel we have had the luck of booking a room into. Everything was top notch. We were given a room on the second floor, right across the elevator, in room 226. That was indeed super convenient, since for soundproofing, the windows were always shut, and I'm a smoker, so it made my outside trip to the smoking area easy. Everything in the room was where it should be. Plenty of sockets to plug our electronics in, a desk to put our convention stuff on and make our plans for the following day. Water pressure was spot on in the shower, all-in-one soap was naturally provided in a dispenser and filled daily. Room cleaning was done super meticulously in the morning and the cleaning people were nice and attentive when we happened to stumble upon them. All the staff we ran across were super nice and kind, even though we were always bugging them with annoying and trivial matters. The evening shift at the bar and reception really tried their best to satisfy our bothering demands. Hats off to them for putting up with us. I feel that we may have indeed tested their patience's limits. Despite all our best - or worst - but unintended in honesty - efforts to piss them off, they didn't even lose their smile. Great job, everyone! The cherry on top was the hotel's decision to open up a big room full of tables and chairs for the Spiel attendees to pass the night once the exhibition day was over. Really thoughtful and it's one of those small details that win people over. I'm looking forward to returning to the convention next year, and I'm sure I will be booking a room in this hotel alongside my plane and convention tickets. Keep it up, GHOTEL!

Das Essen war hier wohl grandios. Es schmeckte uns ganz gewaltig. Es war ein Hammer, die ganze Sache. Die Zimmer waren ebenfalls so gut, Ich will ihn auch nicht. Deswegen schicke ich ihn Dir. Wenn Du ihn nicht willst, mach’s wie ich und schicke ihn weiter man es gar nicht glauben konnte.

Oud hotel, oude bedden. Geen gordijnen op de kamer, maar lamellen die niet meer sluiten. Erg gehorig, veel verkeerslawaai, ook met het raam dicht.

Eine neue, gute Adresse. Die Gegebenheiten sind von solider, gehobener Qualität, der Stil des Hotels entspricht heutigem Standard. Bemerkenswert gut funktionieren die Lifts, bemerkenswert zugewandt ist die gesamte Rezeption. Die Preise sind fair, bei sorgfältiger Wahl auch günstig. Nicht ganz so günstig erscheint die Anordnung der Frühstücksräume. Ein großer Vorzug ist es dagegen, dass es im Haus einen Durchgang zu einem Fitness-Studio und einer Bar gibt, wo man auch spätabends und nachts noch Getränke findet, und obendrein auch den einen oder anderen Bissen. Prima Standort, um Essen zu erkunden - Folkwang-Museum, Ausgehmeile Rü und die Innenstadt in Laufweite, und andere Destinationen gut mit den Öffis zu erreichen. Praktisch: Parkplätze für 14 Euro/Tag direkt am Haus. Zimmer okay, vielleicht ein bisschen bemüht hip, aber das kann ja altersbedingte Geschmackssache sein. Extrapunkte für das supernette, superfixe, super engagierte Team am Empfang!

I stayed here for a month whilst working in Essen. Receptionist friendly helpful and spoke excellent English. I was upgraded to an executive room, which was dated but clean and spacious and included a fridge. I was thankful for the air conditioning as the weather was hot at the time of my stay but would have preferred a sheet instead of the thick quilt. Breakfast was the standard offering but a rip off at €21 - you get a far better and cheaper breakfast at similar hotels. There’s a bar and an evening menu but this wasn’t always open however when it was the barman was great to have a chat with and get some local knowledge. There’s power sockets by the bedsides and WiFi was good. Location is good being just a 5 min walk to the underwhelming and disappointing city centre. It’s also only a 5 min walk to the metro which offers great value and for a fee of €9, gets you anywhere, although this was during a summer promotion. As a resident you get access to a gym across the road. The house keeping was at times quite poor with surfaces not wiped down. Overall a convenient place to stay but in need of modernisation which I think is a possibility in the future.

Nu voor t****e keer in dit hotel. Het aanzicht en ontvangst hal is van dit hotel niets bijzonders, bij hotel zijn enkele parkeerplaatsen tegen betaling, de kamers en badkamer zijn netjes en schoon, niet al te groot maar voor twee dagen is het prima, het ontbijt gaat erg achteruit, weinig keuze in brood, geen beschuitje of sneetje wit brood, het centrum is op 5 minuten loop afstand.

The hotel is just a few minutes from the Philharmonie U-Bahn station or just a 15 minute walk from the main station and hence very nicely located. The staff are very professional and gave me a good welcome. The room was very well-kept and for the price, a good size. Excellent WiFi coverage at good connectivity speeds. Overall, a very nice stay in a very nice hotel.

Das IntercityHotel Essen ist in relativer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof, Ausgang Willy-Brandt-Platz oder City West), Gehzeit 3-5 Minuten) gelegen. Trotz der Lage am Bahnhof und an einer recht befahrenen Straße sind die Zimmer sehr ruhig - perfekt nach außen und innen isoliert, sodass der Schlaf durch nichts gestört wird. Das Zimmer ist wie alle Bereiche des Hauses sehr sauber, das Frühstück reichlich und angenehm präsentiert, der Service freundlich - besonders die Hotelleitung. Insgesamt ist diese Kette eher auf Geschäftsreisen ausgelegt, sodass kleine Feinheiten wie mehrere Kissen pro Person und eine Kaffeemaschine nicht in den Zimmern vorhanden sind, wobei ersteres sicher auf Anfrage zur Verfügung gestellt werden kann. Die Innenstadt Essens mit vielen verschiedenen Restaurants ist innerhalb weniger Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen und durch die unmittelbare Nähe zum Bahnhof und damit zum ÖPNV kann auf das Auto problemlos verzichtet werden. Grundsätzlich ist das IntercityHotel eine gute Adresse für Geschäftsreisen
