Hotel berhampiran Istana Mirabell, Salzburg

Berjalan keluar dari stesen kereta api Salzburg dan berjalan kira-kira 200 meter ke kiri untuk sampai ke hotel. Lokasi sangat baik 👍Perkhidmatan hotel sangat baik, disyorkan. Dan kawasan sekitar stesen kereta api itu sangat bersih, teratur dan kemas seperti kawasan kehidupan seharian.

The hotel room is big enough to open 2 luggages and still be able to walk comfortably. They had a bathtub so we could soak our legs after walking around. At check in they automatically print out a physical Salzburg Mobility Card which was great as the other hotel I stayed in only provides upon request. Location was great as it was right next to the bus terminal for you to take to Hallstatt and the city centre. Overall I would definitely stay again. They had drinking water provided at the lobby too.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy and provided a good night’s sleep. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, and most of the main attractions are within walking distance, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a great choice for both comfort and convenience.

除了離火車站有點距離之外，應該是這次歐洲之行最滿意的房間了，很大很寬敞，還是喜歡的紫色基調。註冊了酒店會員，能提前入住。不過理論上薩爾茨堡入住期間會贈送交通卡，前台小姐姐並未提及，只讓註冊會員。。由於自己已經買好48h卡了包含交通，所以也就沒再去詢問。

The room itself was very spacious and generally comfortable, so in terms of physical space and basic facilities, the experience was acceptable. However, several service-related details significantly affected my overall impression. First, this was the first hotel I stayed at in Europe that does not offer complimentary luggage storage, which was very inconvenient, especially for travelers arriving early or leaving later in the day. More importantly, there was a serious issue regarding privacy and housekeeping procedures. In most hotels, rooms are cleaned only when guests place a “please clean” sign on the door or explicitly request housekeeping. In this hotel, staff went door to door knocking, and when there was no response, they entered the room directly. This felt intrusive and disrespectful of guest privacy, and it was quite uncomfortable. It also seems inefficient and unnecessary for the staff themselves. While the room size and general comfort were fine, these service and management details were disappointing and do not meet the expectations of a hotel at this level. With better respect for guest privacy and clearer housekeeping protocols, the experience could be greatly improved.

Poor self-check in arrangement. I have arrived after 3 pm, but the check-in information from the email was changed without notification. Finally, I have solved the problem by the help of other guest but not the staff.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the room was spacious. However, the hotel is quite far from the city center and the main train station, with limited transportation options nearby. That said, the hotel provides free public transportation tickets, which helps offset the inconvenience.

We chose Das Edlinger because its price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in central Salzburg, and overall it was a good choice for our family of four. The room was spacious enough for all of us and provided a comfortable stay. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking, but it was still acceptable. The toilet and shower are separated, which is convenient, although both spaces are on the smaller side. The hotel is located a little farther from the city center, but there is a Bus 1 stop right in front of the hotel that takes you directly into the center. However, the bus frequency on weekends is not great, with only one bus per hour at times, so it’s important to keep an eye on the schedule. Otherwise, you may end up wasting valuable sightseeing time waiting for transportation. A special mention goes to Fahad at the reception. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had some unpleasant encounters with a few people in Salzburg and didn’t leave with the best impression of the city, but Fahad’s kindness and professionalism helped offset some of those negative experiences and made our stay much more enjoyable.

Online in person registration should be illegal lmao, what are humans for then? I agree with Pre online checking but in person online checking is kinda dumb. Also want to mention that you guys send too much emails, especially annoying when its not translated into the traveler language. Appart from that it was clean, simple but nice hotel. I would recommend it, good value! Lacks better luminosity in the bathroom. Toilets and sink area are too dark.
