Hotel berhampiran Taman Pelham Bay, New York

Spacious room for our short stay. Extremely convenient for travellers departing the city from La Guardia like us. On the downside, we would have expected a better service in a four-star hotel. The receptionist was not very friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping misunderstood my request for tissue to fill the up the empty tissue box and brought me toilet papers instead. No slippers were provided and the bottled water provided in the room was chargeable. These shortcomings leave quite a bit to be desired.

This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there,and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-)  either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

Room was clean and the views were amazing (see photo of the view from our room)! Although it’s a slight distance from manhattan, but it’s worth it. Nearest metro station is across the street but there’s only stairs (something to note if you are carrying luggages!) but the hotel is a walking distance from other metro stations as well so travelling is an ease. Would recommend for those who are looking to stay at a good place in Brooklyn!

The hotel is in a very good location. Alexandra was so nice that she gave us a complimentary breakfast and accommodated us even before our check in time. It was a good experience. Although breakfast has a lack of food variety, it was good.

Location is great, walking distance to Wall Street, Whole food market is so close. Most important, I have been upgraded to the room with River view ! Very nice ! Thank you ! ❤️❤️❤️

Room was alright for a night! Although could have been nicer, entered room it was so hot, the ac/heater unit made a loud banging noise throughout the night made it hard to sleep, towels were dingy, Customer service was good and friendly , didn’t get a chance to try breakfast. Definitely gonna be a go to for a quick stop in the city.

Awesome location, hotel is nice with nice lobby, nice reception staff and nice bar at the back; but there just seemed to be missing things for a 4 star hotel for example; No lobby control - we had our stay line up with schools and students just stood all in the lobby blocking doors and exits and basically ran around with instruments forcing themselves into lifts with friends already in line- think we got stuck a few times with 15 minute waits. You’d think there’d be staff directing these kids to slow down or have better control in a 4 star hotel.   Amenities - the room didn’t have a fridge, the tv kept turning off, I called maintenance as the hair dry didn’t work and no one came up to replace as promised. Safety - lastly had basically a druggie threaten us with a knife/box cutter as soon as we walked out the hotel and the bag/door men just watched - so yes it’s a “nice” hotel but they really need to do some minor changes to keep that 4 star service and not just the look of it.

My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I recently spent 3 memorable nights at Hotel Indigo New York Downtown Wall Street during our family trip to New York City, and it proved to be the perfect home base for exploring the city’s iconic Financial District and beyond. Nestled at the corner of Wall and Water Streets, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—just steps from the New York Stock Exchange, a 5-minute walk to the Wall Street subway station, and within easy reach of attractions like the 9/11 Memorial, South Street Seaport, and Brooklyn Bridge, which were all engaging for our curious little one. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable for our small family of three. The room was impeccably clean, featuring modern decor that blends classic charm with contemporary style, hardwood floors, and large noise-canceling windows that kept the busy city sounds at bay—a lifesaver for our son, who needs a quiet space to rest after long days of sightseeing. The plush bedding ensured we all slept soundly, and the room was well-equipped with plenty of USB charging ports and free Wi-Fi, which kept our son entertained with his tablet during downtime. We also appreciated the daily housekeeping and complimentary bottled water, small touches that made our stay more convenient. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the hotel was, even in the heart of the bustling Financial District. The staff was incredibly warm, patient, and attentive—they greeted our son by name after the first day and went out of their way to make him feel welcome. The lobby had a cozy lounge area with free Wi-Fi, where we could relax with our son before heading out, and there were convenient coffee stations for a quick pick-me-up in the morning. The hotel is also pet-friendly, though we didn’t bring our furry friend, it was nice to see the welcoming vibe extended to all families. The hotel’s amenities were perfectly suited for our family trip. The 24-hour fitness center allowed my wife and I to squeeze in a quick workout while our son napped, and the concierge was extremely helpful—recommending family-friendly restaurants nearby and helping us plan our itinerary to avoid crowds at popular attractions like the One World Observatory, where we even got a 25% discount card through the hotel. We also loved exploring the surrounding neighborhood on foot, with cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and the charming Tin Building just a short walk away. Overall, our stay at Hotel Indigo New York Downtown Wall Street was fantastic. The hotel’s prime location, comfortable and quiet rooms, thoughtful amenities, and warm, family-focused service made our New York City trip unforgettable. It’s the perfect choice for families traveling with young children who want to be in the heart of the action while still having a peaceful place to retreat. We highly recommend it and would definitely return on our next family trip to NYC.

Had a great experience. The location was fantastic since it was right by a train station. Also had cab drivers waiting outside for anyone who needed it.

Our group recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to New York City, and we stayed at The Gallivant Times Square. This hotel was an excellent choice for our students, teachers, and parents, providing a comfortable and convenient base for our adventures. Our trip to New York City was a huge success, and our stay at The Gallivant Times Square contributed significantly to that experience. The combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent service made it a memorable trip for everyone involved. I highly recommend this hotel for any future school trips to NYC!
