PPengguna TetamuIf you come to Ermai mountain for a decent hike to the top, this is a fantastic place to stay. The hiking entrance is right at the back of the hotel. It saves a lot of time since there is no need to find ride in the early morning. The hotel staff are great. They pick me up from the train station, even send me a video about where to go once I get off the train. You can check out, keep you extra stuff in the lobby, coming back a day or two later, they will still send you to the train station. The room is super comfortable and clean. Highly recommended

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a 3d2n stay at the 绿竹 guestroom and experience was very enjoyable. The room was comfy, clean, and the service was impeccable. Food (both breakfast and dinner) were extremely tasty. The hotel is located away from the hustle of the touristy area and provided a sense of serenity, an escape from the crowds, shrowded among mist and forest. Transport to-fro the 五显冈 bus station was provided and they were very responsive to messages on WeChat. Highly recommended 整体体验非常棒！ 服务周到、 食物好吃、客房舒服干净。 世外桃源。

Emei - the staff are very friendly The bad: - the hotel is definitely looking tired and dated: chipped woodwork in the rooms, flaking paint on the balcony. - only one of the many bars is open. Everytime we wanted to order something we were shown a huge menu, only to then be told most things were not available - this included wines, beers and food. - the hotel was incredibly quiet with the restaurant and bar being completely empty most of the time we were there. Whilst not the hotel’s fault, it dead mean a complete lack of atmosphere. - various items were listed as included when booking with Trip.com - none of them were available or in fact included. - when advise was needed from reception: the information given was often not accurate. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they just did not seem to have accurate information or to check it. Overall: this was the most expensive hotel booked during my three week tour of China and the most disappointing. I would unfortunately not recommend, especially in low season.

PPengguna TetamuLe Méridien Emei was the best part of my Emei trip, especially with the bad weather. Spacious room with a nice mountain view. Loved the large bathtub — perfect for a hot soak in the cold. Good location with restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Short ride to 报国寺站 to take the bus up to Mount Emei. Breakfast mostly local, but basic options like bread, eggs and sausages available. Seems popular with families — many staying over the weekend.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI'm so impressed with this hotel/resort. It gives the vibe of luxury and comfortability. Its location is so close to Emeishan Railway Station. If you don't carry big luggage, you could wait for the bus Line 13. It's only four bus stops away, opposite a gas/patrol station. For me, I boarded a taxi from the train station and the hotel paid for it. The staff were wonderful and helpful to me. As I don't speak Chinese, they were eager to help, using the mobile translation app, to make sure my stay was comfortable and convenient. The room I stayed in was huge, with two queen size beds, decorated to accommodate a family with children. I love the big private bath tub next to a wide window, allowing you to enjoy the view. It's clearly designed for families with young children. There was even a big giant teddy bear and a tipi in the middle of the room for kids to enjoy. The hotel also has a full size swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it as I spent a lot of time in my huge private bath tub. I want to give special thanks to Ms. ”Little Horse” for being so welcoming and helpful. She even gave me a bottle of drinking water when I checked out and arranged a taxi for me returning to the train station. Impressive!

TTack Weng YeeIf you’re planning to go up to Mount Emei Golden Summit early to beat the crowd, Linggongli, which is located at mid-levels of Mount Emei, is a great place to put up the night. This place may not have many hotels and this hotel may not have many rooms but has air conditioning, floor heating and bed heating that ensures you can sleep comfortably even during nights with freezing temperatures. The rooms are super clean and staffs super friendly. We booked the 3 extended courtyard rooms and had our afternoon tea session on day of arrival. The hotel serves early breakfast upon request and we had one of our best dinners in a private room that night. What’s more incredible is we literally walked 1 minute to the Scenic Area Entrance to start our short journey up to the Golden Summit early. There were no long queues for the bus ride and cable car up. We were early to view the sea of clouds and got to see the sun rising above it. On our way down, the tour group crowds started swarming upwards but likewise we had we didn’t encounter cable car and bus queues.

I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge. The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice. He also helped unclog the toilet several times; not sure if there was some kind of plumbing issue but it clogged almost every single time and so I unfortunately called him a lot. But he was so patient and helpful every single time and he is the highlight of my stay. Everyone else should adopt his attitude rather than being cold over the WeChat customer service support chat, or basically shouting at you because you are having trouble understanding the free milk tea options.

PPengguna TetamuGreat service from all the staff here, who took good care of our needs during our stay. The free transfer from train station to the hotel is convenient. Special mention to Mr Li, the manager of the hotel, who was easy to deal with, and he tried his best to resolve issues during our stay. The hotel is renovated within last few years, looks good, is clean, but the functionality of the rooms is not as well designed as it could have been. Having said that, it was overall a pleasant stay. Location of the hotel is within a short walking distance to the Tourist Centre to enter Emeishan, and is situated right next to the river. Restaurant options nearby are limited however, and many not opened, perhaps due to current low season for tourists. Hotel breakfast is descent with reasonable range of food to choose from.
