Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Datong

We had a great stay at the hotel. Everyone staff member was very attentive and helpful. One of the best service I’ve received in a hotel in China.. the hotel was close by to all of the must see sights. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the the hotel. The hotel offers free shuttle pick from the airport. We weren’t able to be there during breakfast time but they made sure to pack us breakfast for our early tour. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean and neat. There were free fruits and drinks. The projector was cool. The owners were really helpful and friendly. They also gave us locations to eat and the history of Datong. The breakfast was nice and was homemade with vibrant colours. We would definitely recommend coming to stay here.

Kongshanliao is a small boutique hotel with only a few rooms. It is located inside Datong’s ancient city walls, in a recently renovated area with a traditional style. The location was good: quiet, but still possible to explore the old town on foot. Having free parking nearby was also very convenient. Just note that the parking needs to be arranged in advance because the hotel has to register your car plate number. We had a small issue at arrival because this was not done beforehand, and it took 10–15 minutes to solve. Apart from that, the service was good. The staff helped us with the parking and we received the welcome gift included in our booking. The room was small (as expected when booking), but clean and comfortable enough. The decoration of the hotel is very nice, with cozy common areas to relax, drink tea or coffee, or play mahjong. Overall, a pleasant stay with a nice atmosphere.

*The staff are nice to accomodate us. *The place is close to the scenic spot (few minutes by car). *The breakfast is not too bad. Few choices but it will fill you up.No drinks (juice or coffee). *The accomodation was nice to drop and pick us up at the scenic area.They dropped us off to the bus station going to Datong city. *Problem was the bad odour coming from the toilet. We think it’s from the drainage. We can’t even open the door for few minutes for air to come in because it is freezing. It’s negative degrees. *The room was nice and comfortable. I can’t find photos or video of the interior. The size of the room is perfect. It has a long bench.Table with 1 small chair.Tv, closet, slippers,toothbrush, hair dryer,kettle and 2 bottle of water. *Last picture was epic:)

This is an amazing place to stay. People in Datong are very friendly. And the friendliest ones are in this hotel!! I stayed here for two nights and the staff helped me with a lot of things like ordering food and booking the tickets for museum. They even gave me a present as I left the hotel which I’m very thankful for. The room is pretty nice and has everything you need inside. It’s convinient to get around from this spot. Some people spoke English but WeChat translator was more than enough to have communication.

Highly recommended. The host is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They help us carry the luggage into our room during check in and help us carry the luggage out the stay after check out. They also provide nuts, bread and milk inside the room for us. The location of the stay also very convenient.

This hotel is a very good place to stay. The rooms are clean, and the location is convenient, with nearby convenience stores, restaurants, and a pharmacy. The hotel is new, and all the furniture in the rooms is new and clean. The rooms are large and well decorated, with facilities such as a hair dryer, drinking water, tea, and a kettle. I like this hotel because it is very clean, and the housemaids clean the rooms every day. The hotel receptionists provide excellent service and take good care of me. I'm very happy to stay in this hotel during 4 days and was impressed with the hotel receptionist.

The room and the building are really nice and the manager of the hotel was really kind to let us check out late. They provided us with everything we needed. Only thing we didn't really like is they don't provide regular towels but single use ones, which do not dry well and is not really good for the environment.

The hotel is situated atcthe begining of Datong ancient town, the location i really good to visit the city. The rooms are small but confortable. Breakfast is limited and not continental.

Ajummah at the front desk is very accommodating. I arrived at 6:30am and they were able to provide me a room at 8am. Very close to the railway station. The downside is room smells tobacco. The common bathroom is extremely dirty and smells like urine. There were even poop left is there without flashing down. I had to go up to the 3rd floor and use the bathroom there instead of the one in our floor. No towels, toiletries, slippers, hair dryer. If you just need a day to rest that is near the railways station, you can book this, otherwise look for other hotels in the area.
