JJan VrtdzWe had a great stay at the hotel. Everyone staff member was very attentive and helpful. One of the best service I’ve received in a hotel in China.. the hotel was close by to all of the must see sights. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the the hotel. The hotel offers free shuttle pick from the airport. We weren’t able to be there during breakfast time but they made sure to pack us breakfast for our early tour. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

PPengguna Tetamu位置極佳，位於古城中心區域，去哪裡都很方便，走去東門外的景區直通車站也就十幾分鍾，離各處景點也很近。
小院子鬧中取靜，晚上會休息得很好。全屋智能家居，非常方便，收拾很乾凈，衞浴乾濕分離，智能電視可以投屏看劇。床鋪軟硬適中，本腰疼人士非常滿意。
每天早上都有現做好的刀削麪，超級香，可以去前台吃也可以送到屋裡。
總之是我住過的民宿裏最舒服的店了，坐在院子裏超級愜意，淡季價格非常合適。前台的各位姐姐也很熱情幫忙解決所有問題。唯一小建議護髮素換一換，用完頭髮有點澀不是很順滑。

PPengguna TetamuI can’t stop raving about this inn. It is a B&B style three stories tall inn located inside the Datong Ancient City. Complimentary shuttle service between the airport or railway station made it really convenient for out of town travelers. The guest room was clean and equipped with modern facilities like automatic toilets, coded entry, projection screens, etc. The inn is located near the north gate of the city amongst other accommodations. Within minutes of walking is access to the top of the city wall where bike rental is available to ride along the wall. The inn is very quiet at night. The inn is family operated and everyone was very hospitable. What sets this inn apart from other accommodations in the area is their dedication to service. The owner knew I was a tourist and new to the area, she offered to pick me up if I got lost wandering the ancient city. The breakfast came with my reservation. When the owner found out I had to depart before breakfast serving hours, she went above and beyond to prepare food and served me 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The food tasted amazing and came with abundant varieties and huge portions. It was definitely not part of the service to drop off at another venue, but the owner took me to my next accommodation 2km away. I truly appreciate everything this inn and its staff has done for me. I am so glad to have chosen to stay this beautiful little inn on my first night in Datong. I will definitely stay here again without a doubt on my next visit.

PPengguna TetamuI went with my sister. To a place that is remote and strange to us. We did not expect much but we received lots of warm memories. From the airport pick up to arriving. They offered afternoon tea once we arrived hotel as it was very cold. We were taken care of well. The following days were nice breakfast, warm regards, constant reminders to wear more as it is cold. When the food rider could not find the hotel, the boss went out to find the food rider, asking me to stay back as it is cold outside. The constant reminders felt home and warmth, genuinely care for their guests. Amazing and soul enriching trip at this place. They offered more than they advertised - depending on the situations, which is beyond my expectation. Finally they sent us off to the railway station, this is not in the package but they only said they had the car, they can bring us there, like family sending off their guests. Find a place like this, rest for a few days, the world feels warmer, the soul feels grateful.

PPengguna TetamuOur stay was perfection! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Perfectly located inside the old city of Datong, we walked everywhere and absolutely loved feeling in the center of it all! Beautiful room, super grand, clean, loads of space, very friendly owners, and 100% recommended with kids. The toilet was amazing, the shower water nicely hot, beds super comfy - we had a wonderful 2-night stay with our three children!

PPengguna Tetamu- The location is a bit far from the ancient city. However, they have a pickup service to the train station.
- The room is big and very illuminated. The bed lining was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The floor has many stains, and looks old.
- There is no separation in the bathroom of the shower from the toilet bowl, and no carpet...
- The cleaning was questionable: there were many hairs in the bathroom!
- The staff is great, they don't speak English, but they do their best to help you with what you need.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is really really beautiful - maybe even more than the photos show. Even though the style is traditional, everything inside the room is new, and there's even an elevator to take up bags. The location is amazing too, inside the old city wall, and I walked everywhere except the out of town attractions I visited. I think anywhere you stay in Datong you might have some communication challenges if you don't speak Chinese, but the owner here was very helpful once I put wechat on my phone to be able to talk with translation help, and he was able to arrange a last minute taxi out to the hanging temple after I had given up trying to get one. However, even though he was very helpful, he wasn't always around, and checking in was a bit difficult because there was nobody at the desk. I think this is only a problem if you don't speak Chinese though.
Unfortunately, the wifi didn't always reach to my room on the 3rd floor well, and I could only get a trickle of hot water out of the shower. Overall though, I was super happy with this place and would recommend it!

UUser500I could not ask for anything more. It’s a simple place to sleep and I chose the room with the shared bathroom. I was exhausted and slept well. The staff are kind and it is safe. There’s a hot water boiler provided. Photos show the amazing old town.
