Sscott qStaying at this hotel was a very special experience for our family amongst many from our trip to China. The hotel is in a great location (within the old city, quiet, but handy to all the key sites and restaurants), the service provided by staff was excellent and attentive (they went out of their way to show us around, drop off and pickup, provided afternoon snacks, provided a brilliantly locally inspired breakfast), high quality of the rooms (very comfortable beds, shower, modern and clean). Overall I would highly recommend as the best option to stay in Datong!

My initial room had no direct opening to outdoor - underground , speakers are fake brands with not same quality, breakfast is basic and Chinese choice only and the building is not always well maintained or perfectly built . Correct choice though

JJulz d’traveller*The staff are nice to accomodate us.
*The place is close to the scenic spot (few minutes by car).
*The breakfast is not too bad. Few choices but it will fill you up.No drinks (juice or coffee).
*The accomodation was nice to drop and pick us up at the scenic area.They dropped us off to the bus station going to Datong city.
*Problem was the bad odour coming from the toilet. We think it’s from the drainage. We can’t even open the door for few minutes for air to come in because it is freezing. It’s negative degrees.
*The room was nice and comfortable. I can’t find photos or video of the interior. The size of the room is perfect. It has a long bench.Table with 1 small chair.Tv, closet, slippers,toothbrush, hair dryer,kettle and 2 bottle of water.

Ee.l.linaThis is an amazing place to stay. People in Datong are very friendly. And the friendliest ones are in this hotel!!
I stayed here for two nights and the staff helped me with a lot of things like ordering food and booking the tickets for museum. They even gave me a present as I left the hotel which I’m very thankful for.
The room is pretty nice and has everything you need inside. It’s convinient to get around from this spot.
Some people spoke English but WeChat translator was more than enough to have communication.

AalemilaThe room and the building are really nice and the manager of the hotel was really kind to let us check out late. They provided us with everything we needed. Only thing we didn't really like is they don't provide regular towels but single use ones, which do not dry well and is not really good for the environment.

PPengguna TetamuCab fare from Hunyuan bus station to hotel is RMB10(fixed price),from hotel to Hengshan and Xuankong temple is RMB20 and 15 respectively. Hotel staff provided great service and advice, helping with the laundry washing and gave us aloe Vera gel for moisturising. They also helped us to confirm the bus trip from Hunyuan to Wutaishan by calling and contacting the bus station staff to ensure we will not be cheated. There's a shopping centre opposite which sells apparel and shoes at wholesale price. Lots of food options nearby too

PPengguna Tetamu帶孩子和長者假期來大同玩，這個酒店很乾凈，房間清潔單位，床品也很舒適，雖然在雨季房間明顯是通風過的，很乾爽沒有任何異味，提前打電話溝通對房間的特殊要求，帶着孩子還貼心的給準備了孩子的拖鞋和牙刷。孩子特別喜歡他家的小機器人。最後要表揚他們前台小姐姐們，服務熱情。走的時候粗心房卡帶走了。小姐姐幫忙協調解決了。

PPengguna Tanpa NamaEl hotel está bien situado dentro de la muralla de Datong. El desayuno ha sido muy escaso. Una sopa y unos baos sin relleno. Pero como punto a favor, decir que nos prestaron unas bicicletas para poder recorrer la zona muy cómodamente.

Llanxiao十一出遊，所有酒店價格都飛漲，酒店停車方便，對面晚上路邊有市場，酒店還可以，就是房間比較小，衞生間也比較小，其他都還可以，酒店前台準備了西瓜，到了一邊辦理入住一邊吃西瓜，老闆很能説喜慶，整體還可以吧

PPengguna TetamuAjummah at the front desk is very accommodating. I arrived at 6:30am and they were able to provide me a room at 8am. Very close to the railway station. The downside is room smells tobacco. The common bathroom is extremely dirty and smells like urine. There were even poop left is there without flashing down. I had to go up to the 3rd floor and use the bathroom there instead of the one in our floor.
No towels, toiletries, slippers, hair dryer. If you just need a day to rest that is near the railways station, you can book this, otherwise look for other hotels in the area.
