Very simple but adequate place to stay for a few days. Feels like youre staying at your friends home, nothing fancy. It has a parking space (mind the very narrow entrance) Theres lots of foods places in walking distance and if you need a rest from sightseeing theres a shopping mall nearby. I had a very pleasant stay

Average stay. Good initial impression, but the longer we stayed, the worse it was. Mediocre breakfast, even the bread was not always that fresh, the same for vegetables. The sofa in the room was basically broken, we noticed it only when we wanted to make up the bed. But the worst thing was the smell in the toilet and in the bathroom; felt like mold, could not get used to it, awful!!! (and probably very unhealthy) There is probably something wrong with the ventilation, but I am not an expert. On a positive note, the crew was VERY helpful and reacted quickly to all of our remarks (e.g. entry card malfunction, bulb replacement, etc.)

We loved staying at this hotel (3 nights in July 2022). We have already ordered 5 nights in August. This is not a hotel for party fans. The hotel is intended for people who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Close to the lake with clean and warm water (pebble beach). Large indoor pool (20x10 m). Possibility of walking and cycling. The spa is said to be nice but we didn't use it as the weather was fantastic. High-quality and tasty breakfasts and dinners. The prices are quite high, but the high quality of the service justifies it. The only doubts we had when we watched the clothes of the employees. With such high temperatures, workers probably don't need it pantyhose.

Quand on s'apprête à passer trois nuits dans un hôtel devant une gare, dans une ville moyenne, on s'attend à des prestations pour voyageur de passage, pour homme d'affaire. A l'Europa il y a ça, et il y a aussi autre chose. L'emplacement est extra, le bâtiment refait récemment ; le quartier n'est pas spécialement sûr mais une voiture de police stationne devant le parking de l'hôtel. Les chambres ne sont pas climatisées, mais elles sont calmes pour la plupart d'entre elles qui donnent sur la cour : vastes, elles ont une literie excellente, de qualité, du niveau des très grands hôtels de chaînes, un internet parfait, un ventilateur. Tout est fonctionnel, il y a plein de prises de courant, la chambre est faite chaque matin, les serviettes sont changées, il y a un coffre fort, un minibar. Il pourrait y avoir une bouilloire peut-être ?... Le parking est discret et gratuit, le petit déjeuner compris très bon, très au-dessus du niveau habituel en Slovaquie, avec légumes grillés, plats chauds, fruits frais, ananas, pastèque, kiwi ; le café est très bon aussi. Depuis le perron, on a la vue sur les montagnes, une certaine fraîcheur d'air. Pas vraiment de restaurant, seulement pour les occasions, mais un café, une sorte de brasserie, ouvert de 7 heures à 22 heures, avec une petite carte, modeste, avec l'essentiel à toute heure, dans un décor soigné, ancien, années 30. Et puis il y a le personnel qui est exceptionnel de tact, de gentillesse, et qui fait que l'on se sent presque chez soi, très vite. Tout est en confiance, les serveuses du café sont plus que serviables. Une certaine perfection, justement, n'est-elle pas de donner cette qualité et cette ambiance à un hôtel de ville moyenne en face d'une gare ? En tous cas ce sont là de vrais professionnels qui méritent toute la reconnaissance. Les tarifs sont raisonnables.

This was an incredible hotel. We had a room on the 7th floor and had the BEST view of the picturesque lake, Strbske Pleso. The hotel itself is fantastic. The spa facilities are wonderful. There are lots of saunas to choose from, a pool (which we didn't use) and an indoor and outdoor jaccuzzi. We favoured the outdoor jaccuzzi which was amazing!! Breakfast is plentiful, fresh and fantastic! We ate dinner one night ala carte (not in the dining room) and it was a little expensive but delicious. The hotel offers free parking for all visitors and wifi through the hotel. The hotel itself is located on the lake front and is very convenient for the lake trail (which takes around half an hour to do). It is also close to a lot more strenous walking trails. This was our favourite hotel our entire trip.....

Hotel International is surrounded by golf resorts and beautifully embedded in the High Tatras region. The view from the rooms and restaurant is stunning. During the summer months the hotel offers a golf camp for children up to 14 years old. The week is perfectly organised, several instructors are training children in small groups. In addition to golf, other activities are scheduled. E.g. swimming, cooking classes, hip hop dance. During the week we were accommodated in the hotel and enjoyed delicious cuisine (mixture of local, international and seasonal). The service was professional and at the same time extremely authentic and personal (specially restaurant service and reception desk). While children were in the camp adults could play golf, book lessons for beginners or do hiking trips. Beautiful experience. Next year we will come again.

A very nice 5 star hotel which is quite old but very well maintained. It seems that it was recently renovated. It has old architecture and emanates a romantic air. The rooms are quite big and spacious and the bathrooms as well. The bathroom have both bathtub and shower cabin, so you can make your washing choice. One of the very nice features that the rooms have is a big dressing right on the entrance hallway. If you plan to bring big cruise ship trunks with you full of clothes, then you can rest assured that you will have plenty of space for them. All the rooms have large terraces and fir with outside furniture. Each room has also a day sitting area, which is somehow detached the sleeping section of the room. The room tariff is quite high, so if your pockets are deep, then you are most welcome to visit. A very large restaurant on the 1st floor and also a very decent breakfast is served every morning. All in all, a very pleasant experience in the High Tatras.
