Pleasantly surprised by how excellent this hotel is. Reception was superb. Staff spoke good English. Room was super clean. Cozy muji decor. Wished they would offer half day rates here on Trip.com We stayed 4 hrs only. Managed to sleep as it was so comfortable. 5 stars from me.

The owners were very helpful , picked me up from Airport although they were not obliged to do so. There were good, cheap price street food choices 500m from hotel . I stayed here twice during two week visit, and they also provide 6:00am airport shuttle free of charge .

Very nice facilities with hot springs, good breakfast, a wonderful Russian speaker LAN (super helpful and welcoming). There is an awesome park nearby with a small via ferrata at the top and a super beautiful waterfall mid way up the mountain (I bathed there). Really highly recommend that hike. There is nothing else around the hotel so it is good for 2 nights

Nice hotel to stay before taking your early flight. The hotel also provides free hotel to airport transfer. The location is good and there are many nice restaurants nearby. Service is great as well. My TV was not working and their boss attended to the issue personally as their technician is out. We got a room change with the help of the boss... Of course... The hotel is also near some nice attractions like the 灵山寺 and 海口天鹅湖动物基地。

My friend and I booked a twin room with two single beds side by side for an excellent price. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite with separate rooms and separate bathrooms which was such a surprise and so lovely. Our receptionist Wuyan was very kind and offered excellent service answering any questions and showing patience when we could not speak the local language. We had a view of the pool and the harbour surrounded by mountains and tropical greenery. We are a very short walk to Dadonghai beach. We had a fantastic trip, thank you!

Hotel is great and comfortable. Lobby is tastefully decorated and service staff top notch. Special shout out to Shaw for his excellent customer service, being accommodative of our needs and ever attentive. Rooms were large and sound proofing is excellent. Also a shout out to the service staff, Hardy, for the first night stay. He handled all my parcels swiftly and even helped resolve a delivery which had a little issue. Highly recommended, will return to stay at the intercontinental for sure!

We chose Sheraton Haikou due to the great reviews, especially from helpful staff, close to the beach, and activities for children. Our stay was for 1 week. Disappointments: 1) Absence and failed service of front desk staff 2) No help with luggage (really needed it) 3) Room cleaning could have been better. 4) Communication, there was almost never English staff available. Additionally, no one once checked in on us. Maybe I’m being petty but if guests stay long you’d wanna check if they need anything or just if they’re okay. At checkout, they looked more annoyed and just wanted to get rid of me. I asked about my Marriott membership & the lady was dismissive. 5) Poorly winter holiday program for kids. Different from the advertised program on trip.com. 6) Checkout was delayed because they couldn’t find my booking. Very weird. Eventually they spoke to someone who helped me and found the booking. How is this possible considering that I’ve been there for a week? Great things: 1) location: it’s right on the beach, not far from airport and other places to explore 2. Location: it was very calm and relaxing, which is why we chose Haikou as opposed to Sanya. No heavy crowds, except when going to touristy places can expect some crowd but still manageable 3. Free photoshoot was fun and good way to create memories 4. Hot pool was a good way to make up for being in a pool, we loved it 5. Western restaurant was fine, had some good options. 6. Little play center for kids 7. Large grounds for kids to run around and to enjoy outdoors. 8. Accommodating: we were assigned a room on the 5th floor but on arrival it had a strong mould odour from the moment you exit the elevator. Was so bad when I entered the room, I instantly got a headache. All rooms have no windows, only a balcony door but be aware of bugs and spiders. We immediately got moved to a room on the 4th floor, less odour and no smell in the room. 9) Entertainment: live music at night Would I go again? Yes, especially since I know what to expect. Or try another hotel in the same area. Overall, we were happy to be by the seaside and explore places in Haikou.

Atlantis completely exceeded our expectations. From the stunning ocean views and breathtaking architecture to the world-class Aquaventure waterpark and the mesmerizing marine habitats, every moment felt like an adventure. The dining options were incredible we loved everything from casual bites to fine dining. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered incredible views of the sunset. But beyond the amenities, the service was what truly stood out.but the true highlight was our incredible butler, Farhana. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make every detail perfect. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel like royalty. If you’re lucky enough to stay at Atlantis, do everything you can to request Farhana ❤️she turns a five-star stay into a lifetime memory. Thank you, Farhana, for being the heart of our vacation!🌷🌷🌷

I cannot begin to describe how good this place is! First of all, they kindly gave us a free upgrade as there was building happening beneath our room and I’m allergic to dust. It must of been the nicest place we have ever stayed. They told us we had a Butler and Eason our Butler added us on WeChat. I thought ‘whatever would we need a butler for?’ Well I had a headache and he ordered and delivered medication then we ordered takeaway twice off Dianaping app and he translated and ordered it for us. Even when the pool towels had run out, he had some delivered to us at the pool! Incredible! The buffet breakfast was perfect every day for 6 days too! We liked walking to the night market, on the path by the water, and we ate at the nearby basic cheap restaurants. The convenience store at the bottom of the building is great too. Also, there’s a proper gym right there that is free to go to if staying at the hotel and it has a squat rack with 20kg bar. 100% recommend.
