We are stay at this wonderful hotel for one nights. Here are our honest comments: 1) The location is convenient, just two bus stops away from Terminal 5 by the No. 423 bus. 2) The bedroom is elegant and equipped with modern facilities. It is very clean, comfortable, and comes with high-quality bottled water, tea, coffee, and cookies. 3 )The bedding is also very comfortable for sleeping. Overall, Keep up the good work and continue to provide high-quality service at a reasonable price for your customers. Best regards, Kit Chua Malaysia

Room & bathroom are tiny.. just nice for the bed, not much space left for the luggage.. location is great, near Paddington station walking distance to Hyde park.

Very good hotel, only there for breakfast but very good variation. Only complaint was that there was no skimmed milk, all others even oat milk.but not simple skimmed milk and it’s the only one I can drink. Needs to be more staff on Recepcion when busy check in! But over all a nice well situated hotel close to all amenities.

I actually really liked the stay here. Simple, classy, hub hotel room. Amazing central London location. Steps away from tube station, we visited tourist sites in the area. Great for our city weekend break. The beds are superbly comfortable. I travelled solo ALOT for work, so I know what I like or not about hotel rooms. On this occasion I was traveling with my 3 kids, and the absence of TV meant they slept undistracted. The absence of carpeted floors, decorative pillows and bed runners, (that I suspect are rarely washed in other hotels) was perfect, as it means I didn't have to make sure my kids weren't touching any unclean fabric items. We were out for majority of our stay. So the lack of view/windows, wasn't any concern. No breakfast option, but we grabbed fruit for breakfast from Tesco express nearby. There is a 24hour cafe & bar next door, that is good option too. If you know what you're booking and what to expect, you won't be claustrophobic, instead you'll be pleasantly surprised. Reception team member is my reason for leaving a review though - he comp'd our left luggage :) I hope if Zedwell family see this they compliment his action, because he's gained you return custom and extra revenue, as I'll now book again due to how thoughtful and personable his service was towards my family, thank you. I've misplaced where I noted his name, Sherif(?) [Tall, young, South Asian origin]. Looking forward to our next stay at Zedwell

Stayed here for two nights whilst in London for the King's coronation. Previously lived in the area and never knew the hotel even existed! On bus routes to East Croydon so easy to reach if no car. Free parking too. The hotel has a far east theme and is popular for weddings and in fact there was one taking place when we arrived and their outfits were beautiful. Stunning high class decor around the hotel with amazing glass chandeliers. Our double room was spacious and nicely decorated and we had a very clean bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Breakfast was included in the price which was in the dining room not in a box as some people mentioned! There was cereal and cooked breakfast, croissants, juices and fruit. More than enough! The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Will definitely stay there again when back in London

Lokasinya sangat bagus, berhampiran dengan Old Street Station dengan banyak restoran di sekitarnya. Bilik tenang dan kakitangan juga sangat ramah. Bilik itu sendiri: jangan mengharapkan terlalu banyak. Ia kecil. Ada katil. Tiada apa-apa lagi. Saya menghadapi masalah dengan longkang air di bilik mandi di bilik yang boleh diakses kerusi roda, yang menyebabkan air membanjiri bilik utama. Saya akan menganggap ini adalah situasional dan hanya malang. Secara keseluruhan saya akan menjangkakan lebih banyak untuk harga ini. Saya tidak akan menempah lagi.

Kinda a strange hotel this one. The location is close to Paddington station which is convenient. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. The issue is that everything is shut by 11. There is one bar open till 12 and thats it. So if you coming for nightlife I would suggest another location. The check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was friendly. There is no lift so kinda inconvenient carry suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. And the really weird thing is they have rooms on left and right which looks the same. So i went to 3rd floor and tried to get in my room before going back to the reception and realising i went left instead of right haha. The carpet is old and tired but the rooms are clean. They are very small but they have everything you need just a little squashed. The window opened for fresh air and alot of charging points and lighting in the room. It was kinda noisy in the room as some german students were staying and you could hear them till the early hours. Breakfast voucher was giving to me which was a bonus as i didnt know i was getting it and bfast is in the basement. This is where it got awkward. There is a sign saying 'wait to be seated and served' so im waiting and the staff (around 4 of them are just looking at me and no one is coming. I stand there like a lemon and still no one coming but they looking so i dont know if to go in myself or keep waiting. I kept waiting and eventually someone came. They didnt say 'we have this, we have that help yourself. There was no communication so didnt know if they bringing something or u serve urself? So i waited a min or so and watched others then went to grab the food myself. Its a continental style but not bad. Had the main things, Tea, Coffee, toast, eggs, cheese, cereal. I think it not bad for a hotel of this value. I would stay here again myself for 1 night. More than 1 night i think is too small for me. But the price of this hotel is good and i think overall you getting more for your money here than elsewhere going off the location, clean room and breakfast.

This hotel doesn't have an air conditioner. You can't open the windows because they've got them so that you can only open them three inches they put child locks on them. I would say that the room was not cool enough to be totally comfortable but somewhat acceptable and perhaps December January and February. This place is not inhabitable June July and August. Also the room was weird I had six steps going up to the toilet so I have to be cognizant in the middle of the night when I'm going to the bathroom not to fall down and break my bottom. My room said it came with breakfast but it was only a continental breakfast and it looked nasty but since it said breakfast the person who was serving breakfast was a nice enough to give me a full breakfast which was basically one egg bacon toast and beans which was acceptable. Continental breakfast is not acceptable and unless you book on the hotels website then that's what you're still basically a high carb high calorie low nutritional value meal. Would I stay here again? No unless it was December and January because there's no air conditioner which is unheard of. They have two fans in the room but what they basically do is essentially blow hot air around your room. I like the location of the hotel and I thought that the staff is professional. Also they don't clean your room every every day. They only clean the rooms every 4 days I find that completely unacceptable especially in 170 US dollar price point. Unacceptable. I only stayed one day so it didn't affect me but that I say three days I would have been very annoyed about their cheap policy if not cleaning the room on a daily basis who does that? I like the Polish lady that worked at the reception. Also this hotel has stairs in some funky locations. To get to my toilet I have to climb up six stairs to get to my room I had to climb up two different flights of five or six stairs also. They should clean the room daily for their price point it's ridiculous and guess what spend some money and put an air conditioner in the damn room.
St Giles London – A St Giles Hotel

The location is in the centre of London and very close to Tottenham court station if using public transport. The room was clean but showed signs of wear and had a mouldy smell on entering. Breakfast was adequate with hot food, fruits and pastries. My biggest issue was the shower because the shower pressure and hotness had a common tap meaning to get hot water I had to shower with intense water pressure. I called them to look at the issue and they took 30 mins to send someone up which delayed me a lot in the morning.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it’s next to Queensway tube station to catch the central line. But this is only positive I can give. The hotel needs updating. I booked a double room with twin beds (for me and my adult niece) (room 403) I did get the twin beds but the room was very small and was L-shaped bedroom. So one bed was facing the TV as you walk in the room and the other bed was around the corner on the L shape of the room. That person would not be able to watch any TV if they wanted to. There was a very tiny table which also had the kettle and cups and hardly any space to put our own things on there. The table was really worn out as you can see in the pics. The bathroom was nice and clean with a good power shower but if you are tall with long legs this bathroom is not good for you as when you sit in the toilet your legs will touch the shower cubicle. There is absolutely no space between the toilet and shower wall/cubicle. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes or in the bedroom and it’s really annoying. Breakfast is minimalistic but you do have basic bread, scrambled egg, tea, coffee and fruit juices. The staff were nice but I didn’t complain as I did all the complaining on the phone before arriving. I booked the room through trip.com but I was unable to cancel the booking due to no cancellation policy. I felt they were unhelpful considering the reasons I gave them which I won’t write here. I believed the hotel was expensive for standard it was. The room was also not clean. The radiator was filthy. I read some of the reviews on here but thought it’ll be ok and that was my mistake. Then I read some reviews again during my stay there that there are rats on first floor which terrified me the whole night. Please look for another hotel. I paid £294 for 2 nights. For that amount I could’ve booked elsewhere with better hotel standards. If you do book this hotel then avoid room 403.
