Location is good, able to see mt fuji if sky is clear. Quiet and away from major traffic. Free private parking, Onsen at level 7. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything is provided so you can just stay and chill. I opt for buffet breakfast and Dinner, selection is good. Recommended!

我們由香港坐零晨機出發到羽田機場，整理好行李和入境手續后，來到接機大堂旁邊的高速巴士購票，簡單方便，剛好接上第一班巴士直接往河口湖。巴士未啟程前，還有時間吃個早餐和梳洗。往巴士站就從購票中心沿着旁邊通道走，依指示坐電梯或升降機也可到地下巴士站。巴士准士來到，乘搭時看清椘資料顯示板，有否錯誤，登車后就不用理直送河口湖站下車。 來到河口湖駅，徃左手邊走到盡頭，見遊客information，就是候車站，所有旅館巴士都在此接住客的，巴士時間表在酒店網頁找到;這站不用預約極方便。 小巴士準時到達，司機先生服務很好，數分鐘穿過窄窄小街，到達酒店。 其實酒店位置很好，近大路口，周遊巴士站就在附近不用轉折走到河口湖駅乘搭。 沿大馬路走，一端向巿中心，有食店和超市，另一端往湖邊及池上公園，還可以看到不同角度的富士山，路口正前方過馬路直走就是綠線周遊巴士的路段，慢慢走過去，到達八崎山公園，夏有香氣撲鼻的薰衣草，秋有紅葉，還有美術館，花園咖啡座等。公園地大有綠草如茵丘陵地，孩子們和毛孩可以跑上跑下，情侶和長者坐着長櫈看日落，湖景飛鳥，寫意極！三天住宿，有免費早餐及溫泉……收費便宜，整潔又寬敞的公共空間，我下次還會到訪，住在這裏，繼續未訪的景點！👍👍👍👍👍

Kakitangan di sini sangat ramah dan dapat menyelesaikan masalah saya walaupun kemahiran bahasa Jepun dan Inggeris saya terhad. Bilik itu sangat bersih walaupun dua orang mempunyai bagasi yang mencukupi untuk dibuka. Mandi air panas percuma untuk masuk. Mata air panas itu sangat hangat dan selesa. Sayang sekali salji turun keesokan harinya dan saya tidak dapat melihat Gunung Fuji. Hotel ini agak jauh dari stesen, dan ia mengambil masa 15-20 minit untuk berjalan ke stesen.Tambahan pula, tram di stesen berjalan kira-kira setengah jam, jadi ia tidak sesuai untuk rakan-rakan tanpa kereta. Ia sangat disyorkan untuk rakan-rakan yang suka berjalan kaki atau melancong dengan kereta.

I went in the early afternoon on a Saturday and, while initially I shared the onsen with 4 other Japanese ladies, eventually I had the whole onsen for myself. Very hot water, 1 indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools, although one was not in use and empty. 1000 yen for 2 hours (bring your own towels), English website, easy to access from Kawaguchiko station.

家族で１泊いたしました。 特徴は何と言ってもグランピングとしては食事がおいしいです。BBQスタイルなのでもちろん自分たちで焼くのですが、食材がいいのだと思います。朝食も同様です。手作りのコーラがまた絶品です。今回は食しておりませんが、その他自家製の果実酒も豊富にありおいしそうでした。 コテージ様の宿泊施設もこぎれいでした。 しいて欠点を申せば、寝床は寝袋でベッド様のところで寝ますので僕たちにとってはゆっくり寝れたとは言えませんでした。何となく寝不足感は否めませんでした。 スタッフの対応はとても親切であり、１１月には温泉施設が出来るかも知れない（ボーリングの結果温泉が出ればとのことでした。）とのことでした。

Si vous n’êtes pas Japonais et pas motorisé cela risque d’être difficile pour vous. Le bâtiment de l’hôtel, sans charme extérieur (euphémisme) est difficilement atteignable par les transports en commun et cela est impossible le soir. Il existe une navette qui vient vous chercher le jour de votre arrivée et vous dépose à la gare le matin de votre départ ou pendant votre séjour (3 horaires le matin). Pour revenir il y a un créneau d’appel mais pour nous il n’a pas fonctionné. Les chambres sont très bien, grandes et avec une superbe vue sur le mont Fuji. Le personnel est serviable mais ne parle que très peu anglais et communique par google traduction. Cela peut amener a des confusions comme cela c’est passe pour nous. La personne qui nous a reçus s’est montrée particulièrement odieuse, ce qui n’a pas été le cas du reste du personnel fort heureusement. Pas de restaurants alentours la plupart n’ayant pas rouvert après l’épisode covid. Prix trop cher de mon point de vue, 250 euros/nuit pdj inclus, certes en très haute saison mais quand même. Mention spéciale au vieux monsieur qui conduit la navette, il parle anglais et est vraiment très bien.

This hotel has 3 blocks as it is set into a hill. The first block contains the lobby, then at the 5th floor you connect to the middle block (which faces Fuji directly) and contains rooms on the 6-7th floors. It also contains the bathing area with an outdoor view of Mount Fuji. From the middle block, the 8th floor connects to the last block which contains levels 8-10. This block has a view of Fuji but you have to look out your window at a slant. Rooms are run down and hotel looks like it was stuck in the 1970s. Curtains are stained, walls have marks, corridor walls are stucco. Shoji screens in room have torn paper. Sink looks dirty. Wood surfaces are worn. The finishings in the room could certainly use some refurbishment and love. However it is decently clean and I was still comfortable for my stay. Food was a good spread and tasty. I was treated to fireworks over the lake which was visible from the room. The hotel staff (front desk, dinner staff) all made it a point to mention the event and where to view it from, which I appreciate.

I lucked out and was given a larger bedroom than standard. It was a twin room with ample space between the beds and at the foot of the beds for my large suitcase. The bed had a duvet with a cover which only covered one side which I didn't think was very hygienic (I realise it's a typical Japanese style) and one pillow filled with seeds and the other was a softer tempura style pillow. The bathroom was small but functional. The towels were small and thin and only one was provided. There was mould on the shower curtain. The room lighting was ok and the air conditioning worked well. Unfortunately there were no English language channels on TV. There was one desk with a chair. A cupboard and good sized safe which wasn't fixed to the cupboard and a fridge. Wi-Fi was poor and kept on dropping in and out. I tried changing rooms but there was no improvement. The hotel offered free parking and it was just over the road from the train and bus station. I was able to catch a bus from there to Tokyo Haneda airport very easily. That said, booking it was a nightmare because the bus company wouldn't take internet bookings and the hotel refused to help me reserve a seat. The breakfast was ok with enough western choices such as cereal, yoghurt and croissants. The restaurant was a nice bright room. I used the hotel washing machine and dryers (for a small fee). They worked well although the machines were a bit dirty. No English was spoken at reception so communication was difficult. There were a few restaurants within walking distance (or if you drove with parking). 7 Elevens were about 10 minutes walk away. The hire car outlet was about 30 minutes walk away.

Onsen avec vue sur le lac et pas trop de monde . Eau très chaude , ça relaxe les muscles de la journée Bonne localisation . On peut marcher vers le village ou prendre le bus rouge qui amène les touristes à des attractions tout autour du lac . C est super bien fait ( mes préfères le parc à la fin pour prendre les photos du mont Fuji et le musée sur le mont Fuji ) Les moins de l hotel : Pas de vue directe sur le mont Fuji ( pour ceux qui le voudraient absolument ) Le personnel n est pas hyper accueillant . Aucune flexibilité sur la prise de la chambre avant 15h ce qui est tres rare . Il a fallu attendre ds le lobby , on vous garde les valise par contre . La literie même sur les lits type occidentaux n est pas bonne du tout . Ce sont des espèces de lits pliants et les matelas ne sont pas des plus modernes . J avais très mal au dos le matin .

Came by during the coldest winter in Japan for years and was at first worried about the snow storm as our cars are not fitted with snow tires, so I decided to call up the hotel. On hand to assist is a very nice and kind lady by the name of Zora who tried to go all out to assist and though we asked if we can cancel the stay with no cancellation fees, she mentioned it was tough due to regulations from the booking website. Nevertheless she took efforts to keep me posted of the conditions in Kawaguchiko prior to our arrival and we finally made our trip there. The hotel is clean and new as it opened almost 2.5 years ago hence was dealt with the Covid pandemic and it was not easy for them to survive. The hotel has several Mandarin speaking staff and check in is only after 3 pm hence when we arrived the counter was empty and waited for a while for a Mandarin speaking Japanese to come over to assist, very helpful with suggestions but again they didn’t allow us to amend our stay due to the upcoming snow storm. In the end we decided to forfeit our 2nd night stay due to the fact we do not have snow tire and this is where I felt the hotel can be a bit more flexible by offering a discount. The rooms we were given is huge and spacious , as mentioned by Zora with a good view of Mount Fuji, however the view changes just the next day hence we are lucky to have a wonderful view of Mount Fuji from the room . Overall the stay was very good as staff are very helpful, multi lingual staff with one of the guy from Taiwan being able to speak Mandarin , English , Cantonese , Korean and of course Japanese. Breakfast is simple but very adequate .

The location of the hotel is fantastic for sunset viewing. There is plenty of parking across the road, with a surfeit of basically unnecessary staff. We had a reasonable-sized room with large windows and a wonderful panorama of the lake and Mount Fuji. That's all that's positive. The hotel is in two parts: the original building and an annexe. It is NOT suitable for wheelchair users trying to get to a restaurant. There are too many steps, twists and turns. There are lifts to find rooms in part A or part B, and the locations of the onsens (which switch between male and female every day - nice views, though). The signage is rare and confusing. As a stocky European (100Kg), I had immense difficulty sleeping on a very thin futon. The electric heater in the room blasts an unhealthy stream of hot air. Switch off this health risk and you FREEZE (we were there in late October). The hotel is relatively expensive, so you'd expect quality rooms. What you get is the uniform Japanese army-style sp****, goose**** green-walled room that you'd find in business hotels at half the room rate of this laughingly named 'NEW CENTURY' place. Minimalist, to say the least (in reality, pinched, lacking in generosity and well-being). At least there was a fridge (with a freezer icebox!!) In a series of measures as a response to the risks of COVID, there were no real glasses - just paper cups, and a message asking you to close the toilet lid before flushing. Disappointingly, the toilet was untypically low quality - no little hand-washing basin and fountain on the top of the toilet, and thus no towel in the toilet itself. (So, mucky hands grasping two sets of door handles to wash your hands. How's that for customary Japanese hygiene?) We (a group of 13 people - I was the only gaijin...) had booked an evening meal, room and breakfast the next morning. Dinner? Again, for the price, you'd expect a nice piece of fish (probably from the lake) right? NO way. We got a few bits of sukiyaki, and mean little dishes with bits and pieces of this and that... I've eaten MUCH better food in izakayas and bars throughout Japan. My opinion was echoed by most of our party. Breakfast was below ordinary. Simple, plain, dull. Something to dispense with quickly. Taking fuel on board, that's all. The service in the restaurant was desultory (= awful, ungracious). During dinner, a stocky old lady granted me the opportunity to be bumped TWICE by her capacious bottom as she served the person next to me. I complained and pushed back, to the accompaniment of giggles from her lithe, unobtrusive colleagues. Mercifully I was spared any further encounter with this voluminous rear end at breakfast. The staff at breakfast time were a) limited in number b) slow and c) VERY detached. One had the feeling they were cleaning staff put into waiting uniforms. Per person, we paid over 13,000 yen. Frankly, an outrageous price. The ONLY benefit was the view. For that, you don't need a hotel room. A bus tour will

This is a decently nice, large ryokan-style hotel but it feels a bit old and shabby like a pre-bubble hotel which is past its glory days. The location was a lot more isolated than we were expecting, you really should have a car if you stay here as there is little in the immediate area and it's a decently long walk to the rest of town. I strongly disagree with the ”good for walkers” walkability rating that Tripadvisor gives it. The car does offer a free shuttle four times a day to Kawaguchiko station though which is nice. The rooms (at least the ones we stayed in) were ryokan style with tatami and futons. Both me and my companion found the futons very difficult to sleep in. I didn't get a good night's sleep any of my nights and woke up sore even after requesting an extra futon for support. The public onsen on the fourth floor was very nice and in my opinion quite large. Lastly, the WiFi ranged from terrible to passable. It would vary a bit from hour to hour but was often nearly unusable. This is not a ”bad” hotel by any means, just know what you're getting into. This place probably was more impressive back in the day but today feels slightly run down and not very modern.

這是第二個評論，一頁寫不完，第一個評論寫了交通，環境，衞生，裝修和服務，這篇寫寫住這個酒店怎麼玩兩個湖，我是帶兩個長者還有老婆孩子去的，這個最複雜的團隊都能搞定，我想你們也不會有啥問題。首先我沒自駕因為沒國際駕照，港澳台同胞就儘量自駕吧。如果從大阪那邊來，就坐新幹線到三島市出站右轉坐大巴直達山中湖站步行幾分鐘到酒店門口，如果是東京過來要從新宿坐大巴車直達山中湖站行程2個多小時，也可以坐火車到河口湖，再倒公共汽車到山中湖。山中湖步行環湖一天也就走半個湖吧，建議騎自行車，酒店出來的71旁邊幾百米就有租自行車的，但比河口湖貴。河口湖配套好點，但人踩人説實話沒山中湖好玩，河口湖必租ebike，湖太大了，不然玩不完。

The first block contains the lobby, then at the 5th floor you connect to the middle block (which faces Fuji directly) and contains rooms on the 6-7th floors. It also contains the bathing area with an outdoor view of Mount Fuji. From the middle block, the 8th floor connects to the last block which contains levels 8-10. This block has a view of Fuji but you have to look out your window at a slant. Rooms are run down and hotel looks like it was stuck in the 1970s. Curtains are stained, walls have marks, corridor walls are stucco. Shoji screens in room have torn paper. Sink looks dirty. Wood surfaces are worn. The finishings in the room could certainly use some refurbishment and love. However it is decently clean and I was still comfortable for my stay. Food was a good spread and tasty. I was treated to fireworks over the lake which was visible from the room. The hotel staff (front desk, dinner staff) all made it a point to mention the event and where to view it from, which I appreciate.

Les plus de l hotel : Grande chambre car j avais pris une chambre pour 4 et finalement on était 2 . Ça nous a changé de la chambre de 15 m2 de Tokyo . J ai pris le coin des 2 lits occidentaux et min fils a pris le coin des lits japonais La salle de bain était très bien aussi Le onsen était à côté de notre chambre ce qui était pratique . Onsen avec vue sur le lac et pas trop de monde . Eau très chaude , ça relaxe les muscles de la journée Bonne localisation . On peut marcher vers le village ou prendre le bus rouge qui amène les touristes à des attractions tout autour du lac . C est super bien fait ( mes préfères le parc à la fin pour prendre les photos du mont Fuji et le musée sur le mont Fuji ) Les moins de l hotel : Pas de vue directe sur le mont Fuji ( pour ceux qui le voudraient absolument ) Le personnel n est pas hyper accueillant . Aucune flexibilité sur la prise de la chambre avant 15h ce qui est tres rare . Il a fallu attendre ds le lobby , on vous garde les valise par contre . La literie même sur les lits type occidentaux n est pas bonne du tout . Ce sont des espèces de lits pliants et les matelas ne sont pas des plus modernes . J avais très mal au dos le matin .

Came by during the coldest winter in Japan for years and was at first worried about the snow storm as our cars are not fitted with snow tires, so I decided to call up the hotel. On hand to assist is a very nice and kind lady by the name of Zora who tried to go all out to assist and though we asked if we can cancel the stay with no cancellation fees, she mentioned it was tough due to regulations from the booking website. Nevertheless she took efforts to keep me posted of the conditions in Kawaguchiko prior to our arrival and we finally made our trip there. The hotel is clean and new as it opened almost 2.5 years ago hence was dealt with the Covid pandemic and it was not easy for them to survive. The hotel has several Mandarin speaking staff and check in is only after 3 pm hence when we arrived the counter was empty and waited for a while for a Mandarin speaking Japanese to come over to assist, very helpful with suggestions but again they didn’t allow us to amend our stay due to the upcoming snow storm. In the end we decided to forfeit our 2nd night stay due to the fact we do not have snow tire and this is where I felt the hotel can be a bit more flexible by offering a discount. The rooms we were given is huge and spacious , as mentioned by Zora with a good view of Mount Fuji, however the view changes just the next day hence we are lucky to have a wonderful view of Mount Fuji from the room . Overall the stay was very good as staff are very helpful, multi lingual staff with one of the guy from Taiwan being able to speak Mandarin , English , Cantonese , Korean and of course Japanese. Breakfast is simple but very adequate .

The location of the hotel is fantastic for sunset viewing. There is plenty of parking across the road, with a surfeit of basically unnecessary staff. We had a reasonable-sized room with large windows and a wonderful panorama of the lake and Mount Fuji. That's all that's positive. The hotel is in two parts: the original building and an annexe. It is NOT suitable for wheelchair users trying to get to a restaurant. There are too many steps, twists and turns. There are lifts to find rooms in part A or part B, and the locations of the onsens (which switch between male and female every day - nice views, though). The signage is rare and confusing. As a stocky European (100Kg), I had immense difficulty sleeping on a very thin futon. The electric heater in the room blasts an unhealthy stream of hot air. Switch off this health risk and you FREEZE (we were there in late October). The hotel is relatively expensive, so you'd expect quality rooms. What you get is the uniform Japanese army-style sp****, goose**** green-walled room that you'd find in business hotels at half the room rate of this laughingly named 'NEW CENTURY' place. Minimalist, to say the least (in reality, pinched, lacking in generosity and well-being). At least there was a fridge (with a freezer icebox!!) In a series of measures as a response to the risks of COVID, there were no real glasses - just paper cups, and a message asking you to close the toilet lid before flushing. Disappointingly, the toilet was untypically low quality - no little hand-washing basin and fountain on the top of the toilet, and thus no towel in the toilet itself. (So, mucky hands grasping two sets of door handles to wash your hands. How's that for customary Japanese hygiene?) We (a group of 13 people - I was the only gaijin...) had booked an evening meal, room and breakfast the next morning. Dinner? Again, for the price, you'd expect a nice piece of fish (probably from the lake) right? NO way. We got a few bits of sukiyaki, and mean little dishes with bits and pieces of this and that... I've eaten MUCH better food in izakayas and bars throughout Japan. My opinion was echoed by most of our party. Breakfast was below ordinary. Simple, plain, dull. Something to dispense with quickly. Taking fuel on board, that's all. The service in the restaurant was desultory (= awful, ungracious). During dinner, a stocky old lady granted me the opportunity to be bumped TWICE by her capacious bottom as she served the person next to me. I complained and pushed back, to the accompaniment of giggles from her lithe, unobtrusive colleagues. Mercifully I was spared any further encounter with this voluminous rear end at breakfast. The staff at breakfast time were a) limited in number b) slow and c) VERY detached. One had the feeling they were cleaning staff put into waiting uniforms. Per person, we paid over 13,000 yen. Frankly, an outrageous price. The ONLY benefit was the view. For that, you don't need a hotel room. A bus tour will

This is a decently nice, large ryokan-style hotel but it feels a bit old and shabby like a pre-bubble hotel which is past its glory days. The location was a lot more isolated than we were expecting, you really should have a car if you stay here as there is little in the immediate area and it's a decently long walk to the rest of town. I strongly disagree with the ”good for walkers” walkability rating that Tripadvisor gives it. The car does offer a free shuttle four times a day to Kawaguchiko station though which is nice. The rooms (at least the ones we stayed in) were ryokan style with tatami and futons. Both me and my companion found the futons very difficult to sleep in. I didn't get a good night's sleep any of my nights and woke up sore even after requesting an extra futon for support. The public onsen on the fourth floor was very nice and in my opinion quite large. Lastly, the WiFi ranged from terrible to passable. It would vary a bit from hour to hour but was often nearly unusable. This is not a ”bad” hotel by any means, just know what you're getting into. This place probably was more impressive back in the day but today feels slightly run down and not very modern.

For the price of this hotel, you can’t go wrong. Love the location and the view of Mount Fuji. This is a basic local hotel surrounded by much more expensive accommodations. We stay for 2 nights during the autumn light illumination festival. I have requested for a Mount Fuji view room. Worth the extra dollars to admire the beauty. The challenge is always trying to get a room during the peak season like cherry blossoms or autumn leaves season. Better book well in advance. This hotel offers free parking and free breakfast, simple but yet complete meal. The hotel looks like it had recently been remodel or upgraded from another establishment. The hotel surrounding and finish looks well maintained. Highly recommended stay.

Location is good, able to see mt fuji if sky is clear. Quiet and away from major traffic. Free private parking, Onsen at level 7. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything is provided so you can just stay and chill. I opt for buffet breakfast and Dinner, selection is good. Recommended!

Kakitangan di sini sangat ramah dan dapat menyelesaikan masalah saya walaupun kemahiran bahasa Jepun dan Inggeris saya terhad. Bilik itu sangat bersih walaupun dua orang mempunyai bagasi yang mencukupi untuk dibuka. Mandi air panas percuma untuk masuk. Mata air panas itu sangat hangat dan selesa. Sayang sekali salji turun keesokan harinya dan saya tidak dapat melihat Gunung Fuji. Hotel ini agak jauh dari stesen, dan ia mengambil masa 15-20 minit untuk berjalan ke stesen.Tambahan pula, tram di stesen berjalan kira-kira setengah jam, jadi ia tidak sesuai untuk rakan-rakan tanpa kereta. Ia sangat disyorkan untuk rakan-rakan yang suka berjalan kaki atau melancong dengan kereta.

I lucked out and was given a larger bedroom than standard. It was a twin room with ample space between the beds and at the foot of the beds for my large suitcase. The bed had a duvet with a cover which only covered one side which I didn't think was very hygienic (I realise it's a typical Japanese style) and one pillow filled with seeds and the other was a softer tempura style pillow. The bathroom was small but functional. The towels were small and thin and only one was provided. There was mould on the shower curtain. The room lighting was ok and the air conditioning worked well. Unfortunately there were no English language channels on TV. There was one desk with a chair. A cupboard and good sized safe which wasn't fixed to the cupboard and a fridge. Wi-Fi was poor and kept on dropping in and out. I tried changing rooms but there was no improvement. The hotel offered free parking and it was just over the road from the train and bus station. I was able to catch a bus from there to Tokyo Haneda airport very easily. That said, booking it was a nightmare because the bus company wouldn't take internet bookings and the hotel refused to help me reserve a seat. The breakfast was ok with enough western choices such as cereal, yoghurt and croissants. The restaurant was a nice bright room. I used the hotel washing machine and dryers (for a small fee). They worked well although the machines were a bit dirty. No English was spoken at reception so communication was difficult. There were a few restaurants within walking distance (or if you drove with parking). 7 Elevens were about 10 minutes walk away. The hire car outlet was about 30 minutes walk away.

Very close to the station and a great view of mount fuji in the morning. Amazing experience for me and my sister🌻

The owner of the place is very nice, place is so close to the Fuji station to get the first bus to Subaru line 5 th station.

We stayed one night and hired a driver for the trip. The view around there is beautiful, waking our just a few meters away there is a donki donki, where u can buy some things. And Walking along the street there are a few restaurants. Good point is we booked a family villa. There are two floor and two toilets. The bathroom is relatively small but ok for most Asian size. Hotel breakfast is just simple bread and cereal. So i would suggest to eat breakfast not in hotel. You can grab some food in hotel, but probably you will need to plan for another meal soon . But that’s totally not a problem at all as if you are travelling around the attractive places , you will easily find good food to fill your stomach . Overall this is a very great place to stay if you have own transport

A fun glamping experience. I really think the cabins could benefit from management staying in them overnight from time to time - things like no hooks to hang things, dark and smoky vestibules outside the cabins, pots that don't work on induction heat etc. could be resolved. But overall a well-managed place in a nice location.
