Hotel 3-Bintang di Stockholm, Sweden

Generator is one of the chain hostels around Europe and it's my first time staying in their Stockholm branch. It's one of the more spacious hostel and the perks of having an ensuit for 6 people means that you don't have to leave the room at night for shower and toilet. I rarely used any of the other amenities but there are plenty facility and events they provide which looked fun. What I would highly recommend is their breakfast, great value if u pre book for a proper meal to start your day in Stockholm.

Clean, compact & comfortable. Walkable distance from central train station. Down comforters, scenic view from our large window, large screen tv, clean bathroom with shower, free Wi-fi, self check-in (we didn’t have a reservation so we had to check-in with a staff person). We had a “Compact Double” Room for 1,689,00 SEK (about $156 USD) and it was worth it!

Strategic location, newly open, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Simple amenities provided such as bedsheet, blanket, WiFi, hairdryer, bath towel, face towel, shampoo, hand wash, and cup (take from common area), any other things like toothbrush were not provided. Just 1 thing to take note that there was no shower curtain/screen, water was splashed to toilet floor at basin area, it was quite slippery, it will be good if there is a shower curtain or squeegee provided. Overall it was a good experience staying here.

The hotel rooms are a little small and our window faced a parking lot. One thing I was not aware of was, none of the windows open and there is no air con; however you can request a fan. Other than that the location is perfect and the breakfast is amazing. It's recommended for a short stay. The staff are very helpful.

Понравилось что смогли ночью добраться из аэропорта на бесплатном трансфере отеля на ночлег. Стойка регистрпции работает и по ночам. В номере есть свежие постели, телевизор, душевая с шампунем, туалет. На завтрак шведский стол, вполне сытно и разнообразно.

Perfect budget hotel- the check in screens were not working but someone from the hotel very quickly helped us check in manually. Location is perfect for exploring Stockholm and lots of nice bars and cafes nearby.

I booked their single room without window, as I both have no need for excessive in-room amenities and also greatly enjoy small, cosy places (this is not a sarcastic statement: I truly loved the tiny room). There was enough space in the room for the bed, an additional cutout for a small desk, and the private bathroom was nearly twice the size of the rest of the room itself. The walls were painted in a dark grey or purple, as were the bed dressings. It was a perfect, cosy little nook in which I could sleep and unwind a little. Their breakfast is pretty standard fare, no complaints nor highlights. I was content with the mini croissants, yoghurt and fruit; though an unsweetened yoghurt option would have been nice (but again, not a complaint). One issue I have however is with the parking fees. It is advertised on the ********** website, as well as the English version of the hotel's own site that parking is SEK100,-/day. However, their internal system, and as I later found while verifying, their Swedish website both state SEK150,-/day. I did not follow up on this until the next day as I arrived late in the evening and checked the listings after having checked in. The monetary difference is negligible, however this was frustrating to be presented with at the point of payment and not updated across the platforms this hotel advertises on. When I asked at the desk about it and showed the FD staff the ********** and English version of their site with the lower amount, I was given an apologetic look and the professional version of throwing one's hands up in helplessness. I don't expect grovelling nor immediate refunds (I have read r/TalesFromtheFrontDesk for long enough) but at least a mention that it will be sent up the chain of command would allay my feeling of being misled. Parking in any case is in an underground lot accessible via your hotel card key.

Super rapport qualité-prix. Hôtel bien placé : proche de la gare (15 min à pied), à 2 min de la Drottningattan ; Gamla Stan est accessible à pied (30 min). La chambre est correcte, propre. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et varié. Au top dans cette gamme de prix !

Came here for a 1.5 weeks business trip; will not come back. On arrival, there was visible dust both on the floor and hanging from the air shafts. The bathroom sink is constantly clogging from running water. The silicone in the shower is old and brownish, the shower doors do not hold the water back, so you end up with a larger area of the bathroom flooded. The garbage sacks are super thin and easily leaking/broken. The worst is the noise the fridge makes, including at night - you sleep less than 1m apart from the fridge. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly and cool, there is a tiny gym including 3 machines (that is all) and you can help yourself to an umbrella, if needed. Cleaning is once per week, which is ok, but you do not get fresh towels or linen. Overall, too expensive for what you get, in my opinion.

*10 minutes from the shopping center, where you have a store, 15/20 minutes by taxi or train to the center of Stockholm. * I don't understand why I have to throw out the trash and clean up after myself when I'm already paying to stay. On the day of arrival, I received a message from the person who cleaned the room, asking how it was cleaned. The attached photos show hair on the bed, a torn duvet cover, and yellow stains on the pillow and mattress. When I'm already paying to stay somewhere, I expect clean, not this..
