The staff members are one of the best people in this industry! Genuinely friendly, kind, and extremely helpful. Don't be afraid to chat with them. They like to chit-chat and joke around. It's a really adult friendly, kids friendly environment. Untop of this, the hygiene is 10/10! The rooms, toilets, badrooms, and wash rooms are clean. The breakfast/diner, halls are clean. The breakfast and diner are more than okay to start and end your day with. Everything is prepared by the lovely staff of the hostel. Ps. They're master chefs. They just won't admit it... The hostel is located at the lake of Geneva, and the area is beautiful! It's totally worth it to take a morning or evening walk. It's a very safe environment, and people of Montreux will say hello or even start to talk to you. I stayed for 4 days, but if I knew this was going to be this great, I would have booked a few days more! Really recommend this hostel! 👏🏽

Due to unfortunate circumstances, our reservation in Du Marche was cancelled by ***********. When we were informed by Dean in the reception that there was hassle with our booking, we were standing there tired and feeling helpless. He patiently explained where the miscommunication occurred, told us he can give a room with private bath (as we wanted it) but only for one night (instead of our plan to stay for 2 nights) as they are fully booked the next day. He gave us *********** customer service number, lent me his internet so I can find a hotel that is available for 2 nights and was helpful in every way possible seeing how we were really disappointed and exhausted (it was 14:00 and we have not eaten any meal yet, coming from Chamonix). I give this hotel 5 stars for Dean's customer service. We could have enjoyed out stay in this hotel, if it was not for some unfortunate incident. Thanks, Dean.

Come tanti Ibis anche questo è in periferia (e ovviamente lo sapevamo), in una buia area artigianale, però abbastanza tranquilla e vicina allo svincolo della A1/E23 (volendo non è lontano neanche il Léman Centre Crissier, il quale però chiude alle ore 19:30). Dal centro città, col traffico del pomeriggio in auto occorre più di mezz'ora. I parcheggi sono piuttosto limitati e pure a pagamento. L'albergo all'interno invece è carino e soprattutto pulito. La camera è piccola, il terzo letto non ha né comodino, né lampada, ma per una notte o due è adeguata. Confermo la positiva impressione di pulizia. L'albergo è dotato di bar e piccolo ristorante interno (quest'ultimo chiuso alcuni g.g. della settimana). Noi ne abbiamo approfittato per una cena e ci siamo trovati bene. E' piccolo, i piatti disponibili non sono molti, ma ben cucinati, con servizio cortese e puntuale; non carissimo per essere in Svizzera (seppur in periferia). La prima colazione non è compresa nel prezzo (anche se poi nessuno aveva verificato), ma ne abbiamo altresì usufruito. Nella norma per il tipo di albergo, con discreto assortimento dolce e salato, tutto self - service. Non ho i dettagli delle tariffe applicate, perché non rilasciata ricevuta e io pensavo sarebbe arrivata per e.-mail, ma vabbé: camera tripla (con sconto soci A.L.L.), parcheggio e colazione in tot. 256 €. Un aspetto, scoperto dopo, ma ormai eravamo già a Ouchy e del quale mi è piuttosto dispiaciuto: con la tassa di soggiorno dovrebbe esser rilasciato un pass con mezzi pubblici gratuiti e sconti nei musei cittadini. Io non lo sapevo e quindi non chiesto, loro si sono preoccupati subito di chiedere se dovevamo pagare il parcheggio e se volevamo la colazione, ma del pass niente ! Ce l'hanno detto la mattina dopo alla biglietteria del Musée Olympique e c'ero rimasto proprio male (ha pesato sul giudizio, il quale sennò sarebbe stato superiore) !

I was a chaperone with a large group of students who stayed at the Villars Lodge. Sebastien and Reyna and all of the staff were absolutely awesome, they made our stay one we will not soon forget. While we were there the food at breakfast and dinner was superb. We also enjoyed the bar staff in the evening.

The staff are helpful, courtesy and kind. They went out of their way to help me to get necessary information and even trying to help me to book my next B&B. The facility is clean and everything a traveler could need and want. They have a dinning area, kitchen and chill room with sofa and TVs. The best part is they provide a locker FREE in the room where you stay. On top of it, there are power outlets in the locker so you could charging your equipment in a secure locker. How cool is that?! Loving it.

Nous n’étions jamais venus dans cet hôtel/restaurant et avons été ravis de notre expérience. Accueil chaleureux, sourire, cordialité et gentillesse du personnel, service impeccable sont au rendez-vous. Bravo pour le professionnalisme. Oubliez les vieux commentaires négatifs sur le restaurant, c’est vraisemblablement du passé ! En effet, nous nous sommes régalés au restaurant de l’hôtel ou tout a été parfait et avons passé une excellente nuit dans un lit très moelleux. La vue depuis notre chambre, face au lac, était superbe et nous invitait à la contemplation... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet établissement.

I was there for one night on a business trip to University of Lausanne. If you have to be near the university or the Swiss Tech Center this is your perfect choice. Clean rooms, breakfast ok, kind personel, nothing to complain! Also near the motorway, but you don't hear it, here and there one can hear the tram, but it didn't bother me.
