Great little hotel, nice quiet location stayed in room 406 for 2 weeks, fantastic free WiFi, room always cleaned daily unless left sign on door to not disturb, provided us with water and toilet paper daily.

Hostel was clean and the area was okay. When I first arrived I had to wait for a while as noone was at the reception desk but I was early so it was fine I sat in the room with the fan and she let me check in and even bring my stuff to the room as soon as she arrived. Not a lot of public spaces so wasn’t as social as other hostels I’ve stayed at but they have a whole seperate womens area and an office space so great for women who are traveling and working remotely

Good hostel with basic amenities, friendly staff who try their best even with limited English knowledge. There is a pool table in the common area that you need to pay for. Noone ever used it when I was there, maybe making it free or with voluntary contribution would make the hostel more social. Good location to explore Phuket old town

Kakitangan sangat comel. Perkhidmatan seperti bintang Jamrat, seperti perhatian, bertanya apa-apa, sentiasa mendapat jawapan yang baik. Kolam renangnya luas, besar, bersih, makanan makan malam sedap, harga tidak terlalu mahal, saya sangat suka. Bilik bersih, besar, kanak-kanak sangat suka, sarapan pun banyak. Akan datang lagi 💓💓🏖️🏖️☺️☺️ Sesiapa yang singgah ke Phuket mesti cuba tidur di sini. Sangat dekat dengan pantai.

Good location, clean room and bedding. I you aren't too fussy and are ready to stay in a very simple room it's a good budget friendly option. We had the room with a fan and windows and the heat and humidity didn't bother much. *Be ready to be a bit exposed as windows face the corridor where other guests pass by

This is our third time at Kata Bai D Inn and we will surely come back. Owned and managed in person by Sam, a most gracious and kind host, his lovely wife Kee and an amazing ever smiling team some of whom have been here for 10 years! Dang, Meaow and Nee. A 5 minutes walk to an amazing beach, complementary beach towels, beach mats and even kids beach toys! Super clean Inn, Rooms and bathrooms, we can vouch for the 3 visits in 2014, 2018 and 2023, extremely well maintained. Sam is an encyclopaedia on Phuket and can give you helpful recommendations for whatever you want to do in Phuket. Commercial relations apart, in Sam and Kee we found beautiful and kind hearted friends for life. The Inn is surrounded by Cafes, Restaurants, Bars, Decent Massage places and everything you need on a holiday. In addition complementary Tea, Coffee, Toast, Butter and Jam is available in the lobby 24 hours. The rooms are air conditioned, with a refrigerator, safe, hairdryer and a super comfy bed. You can always get 5 star service for a 5 star price, but if you want to experience Homeliness, kindness and friendship, we highly recommend Kata Bai D.

Everything about this hostel is wonderful. The premise and facilities look fresh. The room is clean, the bathroom has adequate water pressure, and the interior is superb. The hosts were very hospitable, polite, and sweet. Wifi is excellent. Hot water may be available on the 3rd floor. No iron and iron board as I've seen. My TV (room 205) is not functioning, but it's okay. What is the purpose of a phone then? I can easily get the Bolt to the airport at 5:30 am in this place. Dropping off the key card in the designated place as instructed by the host makes checking out at 5:30 am smooth. I suggest this place to everyone.

Charming family run hotel, minutes walk from old town. Tidy, very clean, bright, well appointed and comfortable! The owners are very helpful and kind. They were able to assist us in English and were lovely to deal with. We had a great start and highly recommend this hotel!

Pros: It’s a walking distance to Simon Cabaret,markets and Patong Beach. The room I rented for a price of 2 costs 900+ pesos which is a good deal for a night. The receptionist in the morning is really kind and helpful while the one in the afternoon is also approachable. Cons: There is not lift in this poshtel that we had to go until the 3rd floor with our luggages. The smell of the room and toilet are like those pesticides/insecticides. The rooms are not soundproof that it was so noisy at night. (There were like guys beside our room who made so much noise at 2am and they would even throw the door.) The bathroom looks clean but since the smell affects the cleanliness and also the shampoo/body soap were not labelled. Summary: In total,it wasn’t really a good experience to stay due to smell,noise and limited space.
