This was a great little find! We stayed at this hotel on a Wowcher deal and couldn’t be more impressed. It’s everything you need for a couple of nights away. Room was spotless and bed were comfy! The supermarket across the road was perfect for snacks! There are plenty of nice restaurants in the local area to walk too if you don’t want to go into Santander. The sports bar across the road is perfect for an afternoon beer! Easy to get into Santander … we hired a car but also got Taxis in the evening.

Struttura nuovissima (aperta a fine luglio 2022) in zona periferica in prossimità delle trafficate tangenziali di Santander. Spazi comuni ampi, colorati e molto gradevoli, staff gentile ed accogliente anche se la giovanissima età tradisce in qualche occasione la poca esperienza. Stanza non molto spaziosa e piuttosto essenziale con la trovata, tanto scenografica quanto scomoda, della doccia a centro stanza e solo il wc in uno spazio piccolissimo separato. Andando in bagno potrete provare la stessa esperienza degli astronauti in una Soyuz. Buona l'insonorizzazione ma ogni tanto qualche sirena si sente. Il riposo comunque è stato perfetto ed anche i letti sono stati comodi. E' stato difficoltoso trovarlo nonostante google: l'ingresso è in una via secondaria dove però non c'è un cartello; basterebbe aggiungere un'indicazione per segnalare l'ingresso. Noi abbiamo fatto tre giri (delle tangenziali e santo navigatore!) prima di capire dove fosse l'ingresso. A due passi c'è anche una fermata bus. Parcheggio privato gratuito attorno e sotto la struttura ma non saprei se ci siano spazi sufficienti per tutti gli ospiti. Aria condizionata molto problematica: ci sono i termostati in camera ma non funzionano o non sono abilitati, quindi l'aria è gestita camera x camera da un pannello alla reception a cui abbiamo dovuto chiedere tre volte di accenderla, poi abbassarla e infine spegnerla x la notte perché rumorosa e fastidiosa date le dimensioni ristrette della stanza. Molto negativo Non abbiamo provato la colazione ma tutto sommato ci è sembrato un buon punto di riferimento per uno stop&go in prossimità dell'aeroporto dove effettivamente non ci sono molte alternative a Santander mentre non lo consiglierei a chi visita la città. Sicuramente la gestione giovane ha dei punti di miglioramento ma la struttura è di buon livello

Room was fine...food in restaurant was enjoyable...but Sunday the restaurant was closed.. with no other nearby restaurants.. And no kettle to make our own morning tea/coffee. .the view being a little industrial ..good value for money before return ferry.

Best hotel ever 🌞! The Panorama restaurant has the best food,the breakfast buffet has lots of options to pick from and the view is to die for!! 🌺 The infinity pool has the best view and beds ON the water!! 🌊 I give this hotel a 8.5/10 it’s the BEST 🌊 And I really recommend it for family and solo holidays! 🪂 🕳️

Casa Organista is a great place to stay just on the edge of Santillana old town, everything about this place is pleasing and welcoming. Right from the enthusiastic and smiling welcome to the thanks for staying with us send off our stay was a pleasure. * Check in warm and friendly * Room well furnished and comfortable, lovely beds. * Bathroom very clean, functional and modern * Breakfast well stocked and varied buffet, fresh coffee to order and service with a smile * Secure and gated parking, with easy access (book in advance to secure a space) * 100m from Plaza Mayor and the rest of Santillana Centre * Nice rural/hillside view from some rooms You know, some places you feel welcome and some it’s ‘staff’ going through the motions to get the day done, well Organista is in the top ‘make you welcome’ slot😁 so good we are staying again on our return journey, and looking forward to it.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located. The parking is free which is unusual in northern Spain. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The best thing about this hotel, however, is the staff. Wally and Eveline are awesome. They were always smiling and so helpful and accommodating. We requested a small fridge for our room and it was delivered immediately and also free. They also froze one of our water bottles so we could use it in our cooler when we traveled on. And their English is excellent. If Management reads this review, you have 2 superior staff people!

We stayed at this warm and quaint posada for one night during our Camino del Norte hike on June 2, 2020. The host was attentive, very accommodating and was incredibly generous with his time in helping us navigate the Spanish dinner menu. The location was perfect however keep in mind there isn't a supermarket or bar close by so ensure you bring whatever food or drinks you might need if not arriving by car. Fortunately we had some snacks with us and enjoyed a picnic on the grounds of the property. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was generous and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for taking such great care of us! Cynthia Wozniak

The attention of the reception staff was always very good, like that of Maria and Fernando, but not so with the lady at night who was unpleasant. And the super star Loli, the room maid who treated you with so much affection that she seemed like a mother's care. Improve the rooms, you can see the doors and windows that need remodeling. Great location at the center of Santander

Recently stayed in this beautiful town on our Camino adventure. The hotel is somewhat olde world and while some reviews I had read were quite critical of the state of the rooms and indeed the service, that was not our experience. Hotel is located one block back from a magnificent beach which has a 4K promenade. Check in was seamless and receptionist was very friendly. Our room was a decent one, clean/ quiet albeit we could have done with aircon as weather was quite warm. While breakfast was served on site (typical continental breakfast), there was no facility to eat at night ( staff however provided decent recommendations). The town has multiple bars/ restaurants within 5/7 minutes walk of the hotel.

Nuestra estancia en la Hospedería Villa de Castro fue fantástica. El personal (Montse y Mario) es maravilloso, muy amables y con una atención personalizada y profesional siempre que lo precisábamos. En cuanto a la hospedería, se encuentra super bien localizada a escasos metros de buses y del centro histórico de Castro Urdiales. La habitación era perfecta para 3 personas, limpia y con un precioso ventanal. Muchísimas gracias. ¡Sin duda repetiremos!
